There are three important things for any restaurant and those are food, service and cleaniness. George knocked it out of the park on all three. The food was delicious. It's simple, fresh and tasty. It reminded me a lot of good old diners back home near Chicago. The portions were good sized and nothing tasted bland. The service was excellent as well. Even though the place was jammed packed I never felt ignored. I would say they could probably use one more waistress when the place is full, but maybe someone called in that day. Who knows? The place was spotless. That always makes me happy. No one wants to eat in a dirty place. My ONLY complaint was how many tables they jammed into the space. I know more seats equal more money, but it was hard to nagivate around the crammed tables. read more

Not like the most exquisite Greek experience ever but it was a good lunch with grandma I had a gyro with authentic Tzatziki sauce but I felt like this is what traditionally you would eat if you grew up in Greece and this was a plain Wednesday night dinner! Massive heap of fries with every dish though...it is a great traditional diner to meet friends in the community :) and I felt we were well taken care of...as a side note we did have a Jeweled lady on napkin patrol...literally she would bring you a heap of napkins and when you finished eating she would take your unused napkins to a different table Resourceful? I wanted to eat a simple local place that had excellent food. For us, this was it! I had the club sandwich and my husband had a Swiss mushroom burger. My husband LOVED the fries and the gravy that was on his hamburger. I enjoyed my Club sandwich. It was not a Club sandwich that was so huge you could not even bite into it. This was a nice, regular Club sandwich. If you want fancy, gourmet or atmosphere you may not like it. If you want simple, basic, yummy food then you will be pleased. read more

We pulled into this restaurant on a whim and were pleased with the choice. The Service was friendly and courteous. The food was even better. They have a wide selection on the menu, to include authentic greek dishes. The four of us who ate there all enjoyed our meals. The portions were HUGE! Highly recommend eating here. read more

Chili covered tamales were good and so was the Greek spaghetti. Big Greek salad that was fresh. Good service. However do not get the baklava. I have had lots of authentic baklava and this seemed like it was made a few days ago. We will go back to try the burgers. read more

My family and I went there the other day for the first time. It was busy but we got seated quickly. Our waitress was great and our glasses were never empty. My husband loved his food as did my kids. George's is always busy, especially around lunch time, so it has tons of loyal customers in Fort Smith. I eat here occasionally and, to be honest, the food is nothing special. Pretty standard diner fare, though the fries are natural cut and quite good. Frito chili pie on the menu is nice, but the chili is rather uninspiring. It isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, though. The service is awesome and, no matter how busy they are, the food comes out impossibly fast. read more

Takes 20-30 minutes to get food. Feels like your packed in like sardines. Waitress got something wrong with everyone's food(party of 4). I got my food 10 minutes after everyone else at my table. There was hair in my potatoes, management was gonna just replace them. They said they would scrap them off and get me some more. I told them not to bother, everyone is almost done and I'm not going to hold them up waiting on me to eat.
