I had my car towed to Crank-n-Go after a quick Google search as I no longer live in the area and had no idea where to go. I've gone to other Jackson area places when I lived there and nothing but hassle. I digress. Google has this rated at 4.9 and the choice was made. Bill and his crew are absolute gems to work with. He called me first thing Monday morning and asked me what the problem was. Unfortunately, it was nothing good and much more expensive than I had hoped, but that's how it is with cars sometimes. When I picked up my vehicle, they made sure to show me the damaged parts and even lifted the car so I could see underneath. I honestly had never seen the underside of my car ever. They even sealed up a crack in my exhaust that GM quoted me over $2k to fix. The car runs as it should and I have been driving it all over the state ever since. Bill also texted to check up on the car's performance a few days later, which I've never had. Hopefully I don't break down in Jackson again, but if I ever do, it's going there again. After dropping off the kids, i went to St. John's church. In checking out the tires, one looked way more flat than low. After Mass, I called AAA for help. The young man assisted with inflating all the tires. 3 were low, but the 4th had only had 5# pressure. He suggested that i get it checked before driving back to OH. He referred me to Regal Tires saying they would definitely help with minimal wait time. I drove straight there and was instantly welcomed. EVERY person on the staff was professional, friendly and reassuring. They immediately noticed a screw and promptly acted to repair the tire. It was fixed within a shorter period of time than i ever expected, and, they graciously waived the charge!!! They didn't know that TODAY is my birthday, and service, expertise and kindness of Regal's team was such an unexpected gift. Thank you so much.

We tried all sorts of things but couldn't get it to start. When I looked in the phone book for a Tow company, I was instantly drawn to Affordable Towing, because of it's name, and because it said "Friendliest Tow in Town!". Being new to Jackson, I thought, "That would be great to meet a friendly local business worker." The office assistant on the phone was very nice, and quoted me 40 dollars. That is very affordable! So, I am pleased with the price. However, their employee that they sent, gave me the absolute worst and grumpiest service I have ever paid for, anywhere. First, when he pulled up, he yelled down the driveway at my husband, "Is it running again?" in a very rude tone. My husband said, "No." Then he walked closer and yelled the same question. He received the same response. When I walked out, I said "Hello," and he just looked at me, and didn't say a word. So first of all, he did not even greet either of us appropriately. Second, we stood there watching him hook up the car, hoping for some friendly conversation, but he didn't say a word. He just grunted here and there. Then, he drove the car down the street. And it is notable that he had no idea if we were going to meet him at the car shop or not. He literally just hooked up the car, got in the truck, and drove away...without a single word! We hadn't even paid him yet. So, we got in our other car and followed him down a street, where he had stopped to do a few things, and my husband told him we would meet him at the garage. From there, we met at the shop and got everything paid for. So, as a customer who values feeling valued by those performing the service, I called Affordable Towing to politely voice my feedback. The office assistant was once again very nice, and I recognize that it was not his fault. However, he took down my number and said his boss would get in touch with me. Well, his boss never called. Needless to say, they should not be advertising that they are "The Friendliest Tow in Town" in the phone book, if they are not going to uphold those standards. We may have gotten the result of what we paid for, but we did not get the service that we paid for and were promised. We will not be using Affordable Towing, again.
