Was great to finally pilgrimage to Georgetown brewing after trying so many of their beers. I am a particular fan of Manny's Pale Ale (who isn't?) and Roger's Pilsner. They have a huge, inviting space with a wide beer selection. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar and watching a soccer match on the TV during our visit. All the beer offerings were fresh and delicious, and service was prompt. Definitely one of the better breweries in Seattle. read more

We did find a spot for 4, but slightly indoors. We enjoyed an icy cold brew. They had a good variety of options, some packing a pretty powerful ABV. After having an absolutely delicious lunch nearby, my husband and I came to Georgetown brewing to check out the local Seattle craft brewing scene. Unfortunately, all of the seating inside was full so we ended up outdoors and it was a bit chilly. Luckily, they did have a fire pit going but it eventually started to rain and we left. As for the beers, I am a huge fan of sour beers and decided to try a flight of six different sours that they were offering. Despite loving sours, these ones were way too tart for my palate; to the point where the muscles in the back of my jaw were locking up and I didn't want to finish my flight. These sours were so intense that they ended up giving me intense heartburn almost immediately after. As for my husband, he stuck with more traditional beers, an IPA and a Pilsner; he felt that both were okay given the portion and the price. We both felt that this was not really the brewery for us. read more

If your visiting Seattle, this brewery can feel out of the way, but it's totally worth the short drive!! All the beers are absolutely amazing! The brewery is the sport for the best selection of beers they offer. Many bars in town will have their staples, but their Sea of Life series is something really special! I hate to butcher the story but they created an amazing ale used as a base for a variety of sister ales and sours. The sea of life includes beers such as peach ale, Sangiovese, and even a Cabernet. I believed there were 12, but the 3 listed were my favs. Jackson the bar tender was kind and patient as we tasted our way through the not so short tap handles and upon special request a brewery tour of the back. He explained the use of each piece of tech and the operational use. We had a fantastic time and checked a bag solely to bring this beer home. The swag rockets too! What an amazing brewery in Georgetown. They have a great collection of beer - something for every kind of beer lover. I loved Bob's lager and the coffee beer (nitro) they had when we stopped by. Went here to pick k up some beer ont he go! We love the selection of IPAs and the new WarChild is hard to find in our area. I got a case (4 six packs) for $40 which is a steal! What a great tap room and growler fill location. I've been wanting to come by and check out the brewery, but seemed to never get there before closing time. Well, this time I was able to come by and was really surprised! You can try a tasting all of their beers for FREE; of course there's no seating so you have to stand there too. Combined with beer tasting, you can buy pre-filled growlers and they have their swag to sell. We came by and I go to try a large number of their beers and all were way better than I expected. They have solid beers and you get to chat with others tasting and had a great time for the 20 or so minutes we were there. Definitely, a great place to get growlers and a few tastes of their seasonal beers you'll not see at local bars. read more

Came here on a Friday evening a few weeks ago and there weren't too many people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I tried the Gusto Crema Coffee Ale with nitro and it was delicious! This drink is the main reason I really want to come back. Wish I could get a growler of the nitro version, but growlers for this drink can only come in the CO2 version, which I still need to try. This was the best part...not having to spend any money. The only bad part is that they don't sell beers by the pint. They try to encourage people to buy growlers and kegs. I feel like I've been left out of some secret society. One that has an entirely different experience with Georgetown Brewing. I know it's big and popular, and maybe that's why I'm not a fan. The spot is a spacious area, but it's packed with people so much that it's too loud. The sound carries loudly in the open space. The last time I went, there were a ton of flies all over. I had a stout that was almost at a syrup consistency. It seems a lot of people like it, but I'm on the outside looking in with this one. read more

Awesome place to unwind & enjoy a wide variety of beers on tap! They were still building the tasting area when I was last there in September, so this review is a bit overdue. Better late than never, I always say! They didn't sell any pints at the time but allowed free tastings which were all very refreshing! Being dog-friendly also helps so the pups can enjoy & mingle with other four-legged friends. Of course, after all the tastings - you gotta bring home a growler for only $8 well worth it! You may want to try the seasonal JOHNNY UTAH (named after Quarterback Punk actor Keanu Reeves from movie POINT BREAK) as well. You will find many different beers for your pallet to burst with euphoria on, however you can either purchase by KEG or GROWLER, but I would sample everything first prior to picking unless you're a diehard fan of one beer. Randomly stopped by on our way to the airport yesterday . The brewery is more of a growler filling station then a bar. They let you sample as many beers as you want for free, unlike most of the other places we had stopped by on our trip. The guy who served us was friendly in a non aggressive way and did not talk down to us even though our beer process knowledge is questionable . Unfortunately there are no tours during the week, but you can see the brewery in action through the glass. I hope one day they will be more available on the East Coast. read more

Bodhizafa has been one of my favorite local beers since I moved here, so my husband and I decided to visit it's birthplace this weekend. We were excited to stop in, see their brewery, and try a few of their beers. When we got to the counter to order we were pleasantly surprised that you are allowed to taste up to 7 beers for FREE. Yes, really free. You are given a tasting card with their current beer selection and they check off the 7 samples as you try them. After you sample the beers that speak to you, there's a separate line to purchase a growler (or keg) to go. Highly recommend this brewery. We were hoping to get here in time for a tour, but it wasn't meant to be. So what did we do? We tried the beers on tap of course! My friend and bf had already had several rounds in other places but still had the stomach and thirst to try a few more. I sipped of the bf, as I'm not much of a drinker and have yet to find my beer of choice on this coast. The guys behind the bar are really nice and helpful. My friend bought a growler for his pop and the bf and I found a few t-shirts in the merchandise area to the right of the tasting area.
