This place was AMAZING! You have to stop. We had great service. The bartender was very informative and helpful with our selection. My wife got one of their alcohol slushes. Husband went with the chicken tenders and fries..which were good. But really? Cone for the wine! I chose the moscato, but tried the fruit wines (who knew the rhubarb would be a stand out?). I ordered a tavern burger and fries. The fries tasted like they used old oil to fry them in. The burger was good. They brought me 1 ketchup packet for my fries and burger. No one stopped back by to ask or check to see if I needed anything . There was only me and another table with 2 ladies sitting at it. Tgey had 4-5 employees working. What a view! Went here to see the Cambridge 4th of July fireworks. Enjoyed pizza (adults) and mac and cheese cups (kids) for food. Most of their wines are sweet and they have some other wines from other wineries. I don't usually like sweet wines, but I enjoyed their Concord wine. They have alcoholic slushies and one that was non-alcoholic that our kids enjoyed. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of parking and lots of outside seating options. read more

Our meal here was during an impromptu trip in the off season. The place was abandoned when we got there and we were not sure if it was open, but it was! Currently under construction due to a water issue, the space is fun and its clear that it is probably hopping in the summer. We ordered wine and a vodka slushie, very good! Also got nachos and a BBQ pizza. The nachos were decent but lacked noticable cheese, it was mostly meat (good meat tho), and the BBQ pizza was insanely sweet with minimal chicken and a boatload of sauce. We both ended up with stomach aches from the sweet BBQ sauce. The pizza has potential, but order something other than the BBQ Chicken. We aren't local, but if we came through town we would check it out for the views in the summer. As a plus sized female (bigger but not massive), my major critique is all their indoor seating with the exception of 3 seats, are permanently fixed as well as the tables, meaning that I cannot sit and be comfortable/facing the tables. If the place had been crowded, I wouldn't' of been able to find a seat. read more

We found seats overlooking the vineyard and put in our order. The pizzas were delicious, made to order in the stone oven. Half price appetizers were perfect--housemade chips with Parmesan were some of the best we have had. Adult slushies were great! Selections of beverages were wide for everyone. We randomly chose this place while stopped for the night during a road trip from New Jersey to Chicago. What a treat. Live music, stunning views of the local hills & communities, no wait on a summer Friday evening, fresh cooked pepperoni pizza and mac & cheese for the kids, and local beer and wine for us grownups (try the Blood Orange Wheat beer, you won't regret it), all reasonably priced. My husband had the wings and fries, he said they were good and crispy. The terrace/seating area is big and is right next to the grapevines, which was great for my youngest, who got to run around a bit (after being warned not to pick any grapes, lol). Beautiful scenery! We had the brick over pizza and it was great. The live music is tasteful and isn't too loud. Service could use some work but I imagine they're short staffed like many other places. You will stand in line for awhile to get drinks and order food. The wine was wonderful! Overall, the scenery is gorgeous however, the unkempt vines from the previous place is pretty sad. Really enjoyed Georgetown. Being new to the area we heard of the vineyard. We thought it might be more upscale, but surprisingly glad it wasn't. They have only a few tables. We were a bit confused when we got there. There was a sign that said "order here". So we did. However, we also noticed table service. We ordered the Caprese salad, a Margharita pizza, pretzel sticks and a bottle of wine. Everything was perfect. The prices were great. We don't normally like Reisling, but...we'll, let's just say...we finished the bottle. I wanted a greens salad, but was disappointed that they didn't have any homemade dressing. That's ok; it got me to order the Caprese and I was glad I did. We will definitely come back and bring friends. read more

We loved this place! Our family stopped in on a road trip off of I-70 and were glad to took the short trek to this little gem in the hills! It feels tucked away, but when you get inside, you feel like you're right in town with their quaint cafe and winery space. We ate lunch right before we drove up, so we didn't get a chance to try their brick oven pizzas, but we'll save room next time. Plenty of wines to sample and two different beers as well. They have some suggested wine samplers, so we went for the fruit wine and the sweet wine samplers. We scored big time because I enjoyed 7 of 8 of them! My wife even complimented their cranberry wine and she doesn't typically like anything cranberry-flavored. My favorites were the blackberry, raspberry, Concord, Niagara, and Fredonia. All sweet, so you dry wine-lovers will have to come out and try those out on your own. We went with all sweets on this hot summer day. After sampling these wines, we bought a bottle of Fredonia to take home. We chose it not only because we enjoyed the taste so much, we knew that it was a more unique flavor compared to what we could get elsewhere. I would've grabbed a bottle of Niagara as well if it was completely up to me.... Next time! We took a walk out the back patio and I am so glad we did. Beautiful view of the vineyards, awesome patio and deck, and the brick oven for the pizza is found out here too. We were able to watch them making some pizza. I just love the atmosphere out back. I don't know if it would be as magical on a cold and/or rainy day. The inside is nice, but the outdoor space really makes it. I look forward to getting back here again, trying that pizza, and trying more wine! read more

We haven't been here in a few years. The last time it was small and they had wine in a bucket to try. Now they have a restraunt with wine tastings, and beer on tap from a local brewery. They had amazing fire grilled pizzas. Loved this place. read more

Great overall experience. We stopped here for a pitstop off of 70. Café style where you walk up and place your order and then take a number and they bring the food out to you. The staff was very helpful and friendly as we needed some help getting through the process as it was our first time here. If you're looking for a casual dining experience with great brick oven pizza and incredible views this is the place for you! Visited the winery this afternoon. I usually try to stop by two or three times a year during my stay in mid Ohio. The event was a total disaster. the outside deck which has a great view on the hills of Ohio was dirty, rundown and in need of a coat of paint. the chairs were dirty, some had broken boards and one had a seat with a missing board with nails sticking up. the pizza was like cardboard with no taste. their firebrick pizza used to be quite sizeable and loaded with toppings and very tasty. Walmart frozen pizza is better. prio this week I visited about twenty wineries in the Northeast Geneva area of Ohio. it was a splendid visit there. Georgetown Winery needs to take a few notes from them on how to make wine tasting a positive experience. I won't be back. read more

AMAZING food, terrible service. My husband and I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and it's literally the best brick oven pizza we've ever had. We also sampled some of their wines along with the cheese, olive oil and bread platter. Again, SUPER yummy. My favorite wine was the Concord (sweet red). I was a little disappointed with their Riesling, since that's normally my go-to wine, but other than that, everything tasted great.If it wasn't for our bad experience with their service, I would have given them a 5-star ranking. When we walked in, we were never greeted. Between the girls behind the counter preparing food and the "server", they all looked up at us and went back to what they were doing without saying a word. (And no, they weren't busy. It was a Thursday afternoon and there was only one other table of guests besides my husband and I.) We pretty much stood around awkwardly before finally asking for a menu. Once our order was placed and food was served, not once did we get asked if anything else was needed, and no one checked in to see if we were doing ok. Had the staff been somewhat welcoming and/or helpful, we definitely would have purchased more than the just the one bottle of Concord. Definitely conflicted on this place since the food was practically perfect, yet the service was very lackluster and we did NOT feel welcome at all. It was a very uncomfortable experience and we will not be coming back. read more

We made Cambridge, OH a stopping point on a 12 hour drive we were doing to see family and found this Winery/Brewery/Pizza joint on a TripAdvisor list of fun things to do in Cambridge,OH. Since we were staying in a hotel a mile away we decided this place was a "must try". Google maps was no help in finding it and made us pass right by it...but since we knew it was on TOP of the hill we just took a road that led straight up and we found it. (It was a dark rainy night) It is a totally warm and unpretentious inviting room that you enter into. It was a Saturday night so they had an awesome singer/guitarist playing great music. We tried some wines...similar to Wines we've tried in upstate NY...sweet and delicious. The winery also had some beers...we sampled four, a light, red ale, harvest and a daze. We decided to get the American Fredonia wine the Rhubard wine and a small growler of the daze beer to go for home. The pizza was brick over fired and delicious! Totally fun stop if you make this town a stopping point on any trip! read more

We keep trying to love this place but gosh there's so much that's being missed here. Great location, great view especially on a beautiful day. Flatbreads look appealing (if you eat them). Limited menu heavy on carbs and fat and local sweet wines and cheap beer. Could be SO MUCH BETTER if: 1. They power washed the whole place. 2. Freshly painted the decks and railings. 3. Upgrade your wine beer to at least something higher than a Bud Light. 4. Up their game on a menu-maybe some healthy small plates like fresh veggies and hummus or shrimp cocktail. Staying at Salt Fork SP and thought we'd try Georgetown. Loved it!!! Had a Classic pizza, sangria and tried some of their wines. Everything was spot on. Sangria was wonderful. My fiancé and I were moving me from Baltimore to Terre Haute and stopped at this winery on our way to celebrate the halfway point of our journey. Based on the high rating on Google, we were very excited to see what was in store for us. When we pulled up, we were greeted by a friendly tabby cat and an adorable golden retriever. Unfortunately, that was the best service and warmest welcome we received today. When we entered, we weren't greeted and probably looked pretty confused, as we had never been there and were not expecting a cafe setup; we were expecting to go to the bar for a tasting. A sign said "Seat Yourself", so we did, and proceeded to talk about what wines we would like in our respective flights. Samples are 4 oz., so we decided to share our samples. After a wait, someone asked if our drink orders had been taken; we said no. She got us menus and took our orders, but was very lacking in personality. While we waiting for our flights and food order, she was playing on her phone. The wine was pretty lackluster. We have visited several vineyards in our travels and have normally left with a few bottles of wine and several new favorites. Not so with this vineyard. We both only liked one wine, the Niagra, with every other option ranging from "okay" to nearly undrinkable. I was disappointed in their Riesling, as that is my go to wine and this was nowhere near as sweet as I am accustomed to, and the Moscato simply tasted flat and lifeless. We ordered a bottle of the Niagra to take with us and told our waitress we were finished. We again sat and waited for our wine and to settle our bill while observing our waitress exiting for a smoke break. We asked someone else to cash us out, as we had to get back on the road. Several other tables came in after us and were greeted promptly and warmly, so maybe we just got unlucky. But, based on service and the product we sampled, we wouldn't recommend this place. We're giving an extra star just for the adorable dog. read more
