That says a lot about the level of respect here. The building itself is in terrible condition. It's old, poorly maintained, and there is mold in what feels like nearly every apartment. Instead of properly fixing the issue, they just paint over it. Because of this, my family members were constantly getting sick, which is unacceptable and honestly concerning from a health standpoint. To make things worse, basic repairs are ignored. Our front door knob literally fell off, and management refused to fix it, saying it wasn't an emergency. How is a broken FRONT DOOR not urgent? Overall, this place is unsafe, poorly managed, and not worth your time or money. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

They cut your lock and then take it. I had over $2,300 worth of tools stolen after I left for a holiday weekend. There's mold in the upstairs bathroom no matter how long I leave the window open. The lease policy states that cats must be indoors and dogs must be on a leash, yet the neighbors seem to think those rules don't apply to them. After complaining, all management does is send out emails -- even though it's a clear violation of the lease agreement. People don't pick up after their pets, which causes other animals to get sick. The rent increases are ridiculous for what you get -- no A/C, no dishwasher, and no in unit laundry. Sure, they remodeled the exterior and installed cameras watching the carports, but they refuse to provide footage when something is stolen. They make you file a police report before they'll even speak to the security company. They claim there's a security guard who patrols at night, but I've lived here for two years and have never seen them. Ants! Ants everywhere, no matter how much you clean. The community washers are constantly broken, and people from the other side of the complex come to use yours because they've figured out how to get free washes and drying. My biggest frustration is the constant car and storage break-ins -- especially when we live right down the road from the sheriff's department. I've had a car stolen, and street parking is horrid, particularly when the school is having a baseball game or the sports complex is hosting events since people seem to think it's okay to park in the apartment lot. On top of all that, there's a constant smell of dirty Tijuana sewage. The only positive thing is the proximity to town and the easy commute to the military bases.

He's very helpful and gets to know everyone (not in a nosy way). He'll lend a hand when he can and is very friendly. He also helps to keep down the noise and make sure everyone is playing nice. The apartments are up to date and newly painted/carpeted, etc. The complex is located about 1mi from the Beach and the Estuary and it is only a few blocks away from the Coronado Island bike trail. The rent is cheap ($800/1br) and is absolutely bug free! There are also large 2 bedroom apartments. Cats are allowed with a deposit (no monthly pet rent) and there's a seasonal pool and a year round grill. Basically, if I wasn't moving out of state, I'd probably live here a long while. Some people have lived here for over 20 years. There are Navy folk, young families, singles and I've never had a problem with my neighbors since I've moved here. It's the men with blue shirts that go on the golf carts that speak about drama that happens with their work environment instead of helping those in the community where we pay rent but rather more just see us as people who live here which we have to pay extra fees as water, garbage, etc and they make it seem like they don't want to do what they are suppose to do, because i have heard that as well. A big major problem is just that the washers don't work. We can have 10 washers n there's only 3 that work which are very small and don't know when it looks like they'll get fixed, so i've been going to the laundry mat instead since there's really none that work here sadly. I love the apartments, it's just the workers (some not all) should be nicer and have more decency instead of giving looks, and the washers being fixed. Alba has been with us from the start, she's always on top of communication answering all of our questions and concerns. Pete and Ruben are the friendliest grounds keepers and always will help with anything. These apartments are very well maintained, professionally cleaned and sanitized before move in and move out. It's very modern and roomy. Should anything need immediate maintenance they have onsite maintenance there 24/7. That also means if someone trips an alarm or something by accident you won't hear it for hours. Its a very nice gated community with surveillance cameras everywhere and on site patrol at night. The heating and a/c are top notch as well as all the other appliances. We rarely ran into issues but if we did it was fixed super fast. The staff have special events every so often for children as well as free pizza or raffles to win things like full thanksgiving meals, etc. Parking is great theres plenty for cars needing charging stations or cover. The amazon package hub and mail are very secure, easy to use. We had two dogs and it was easy to get them to the designated dog pen. Its all kept very clean! There are so many amazing places nearby to eat and the bay is just up the street! If you're nervous to apply like we were because we had a lot going on at the time that sounded complicated to explain, just try! The staff are very understanding and will try to help you succeed. We are very thankful for the chance we had. There really isn't anything negative to report, we loved this apartment and they were always fair never asking for large increases in rent renewals. They also give plenty of advance notice for fire alarm testing, main hallway carpet cleaning, elevator maintenance, and any in unit quick inspections for yearly fire sprinkler upkeep that is just fast in and out look.
