Can anyone recommend a board-certified doctor for butt augmentation or implants?

Dr Stanley Okoro was named the best Butt lift in Atlanta by Best Self Magazine. He also published the book on Brazilian Butt lift. The book is available on Amazon. Search for Stanley Okoro on Amazon.

Has anyone gotten a Brazilian wax here? Please share your experience (at your comfort level of course). You can even send a message. Thanks in advance!

Many clients have received Brazilian wax at the Amachi MedSpa at our location. The spa is one of the most advanced MedSpa in the Atlanta area. The staff are well trained and experienced with Brazilian wax. The price is also very reasonable.

I've been wanting to get a breast lift and augmentation done for a long time. Finally decided to have it done since I'm getting married. Came in for a consultation everything was great. I told the nurse that I'm allergic to tapes/adhesive so we did a tape test. The tape she gave me to test for a week was great no reaction. I told Dr. Colgrove my goal was to have my breast symmetric, have more of an upper pole, more volume and cleavage. I also brought in my goal picture. One of my breast is larger than the other, so we decided to go with an anchor lift and reduction on the side that was larger. The other breast I had a lollipop lift to position the nipple and to make both nipples a little bit smaller. I understand that they will not be twins. I just need them to look even and lifted with cleavage. I also paid to have the mesh(internal bra) put in so they would not bottom out or sag later on. I chose to go with 380cc Motiva round. He did 380cc on both side. Fast forward to surgery day. My surgery was on July 10th 2025. Everything was fine during surgery. When I came home I noticed that they had used a different tape on me, and not the one that we tested on my skin. Had an appointment to come back for post op the next day. The nurse removed the tape to change it and noticed that I had blisters and hives all over my breast. The Dr. did not come in the room to look at it or let me know what he did during surgery post op. He stood at the door and looked in and say come back in a few days and prescribed me steroids. I also told him I'm having pain in my armpit where he did the lift he said maybe because of the way my arm was positioned during surgery. So I didn't think anything of it since he's the Dr. and he probably knows best. Couple days later I came in he told me to stop the steroid and just use aquaphor and took off all the tapes. I think he finally realized that it was a tape allergy and not my body rejecting the implant. I'm not sure why they did the tape test on me and use a different tape during surgery. Obviously, they didn't put it in my chart or communicate with each other about it. So beware if you have a tape allergies. I'm almost 3 months post op and my skin is just now finally healing from the tape reaction. I noticed that the implant on my right breast where I had a lift and reduction kept moving into my armpit and slides up when I lay down and to the side. I addressed my concerns to him. I told him I think my pocket is too big so it's causing my implant to move around. He told me no it's because I'm dominant on my right hand so I need to continue to wear my surgical bra and no lifting or exercising. Did exactly what he told me to do. Came back a few weeks later reminded him again that my breast implant is still moving around and is very uncomfortable because I constantly would have to keep pushing it in, which is not right. He looked at it and said it still needs to drop and told me to stretch them and that to come back in a few weeks and left the room. I told the nurse I'm not sure why it's moving like that and she told me the pocket might be too big and asked me if I got the mesh. I said yes I did and I'm not sure why it's doing this if there's a mesh in there that's supposed to hold everything together. She told me to just remind him again when I come in a month and she told me that he said to keep doing my stretches. A month went by, did my stretches like he told me to do. Came in today reminded him again about the implant moving around and he said implants are supposed to move around and blamed it on me being right hand dominant again. He told me to not stretch on my right side and just do the left side. I said to him you told me to stretch both side the last time I was here and he said because it was tight the last time. Mind you, my right breast pocket was never tight! I'm not sure why my concerns were not charted and that he needed to be reminded every time. Everyone I know that got their breast aug done are right handed and they never had this issue. All he told me was we can't do anything now. I would have to wait until everything heals. Besides the breast pocket being too big, One breast is still bigger than the other side so it's pulling down. One nipple is larger than the other one and no cleavage because they are uneven and going to the side. Least to say, I always leave his office feeling disappointed because my concerns were just brushed off and never addressed.

If I could give Dr. Andrew Ray and his team more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!…read more I honestly can't thank Dr. Andrew Ray enough for what he's done for me. Today, for the very first time in my life, I wore a two-piece bathing suit... and I mean EVER. Not even as a teenager did I have the confidence to wear one. Choosing Dr. Ray as my surgeon was one of the best decisions I've ever made. From my consultation to my recovery, he and his entire team made me feel comfortable, cared for, and supported every step of the way. His work exceeded every expectation I had. This surgery wasn't just about changing my body, it completely changed how I see myself. Dr. Ray gave me something I never thought I'd have: confidence. I finally feel comfortable in my own skin and can honestly say I love my body. If you're considering surgery and you're looking for a surgeon who is not only incredibly talented but also truly cares about his patients, I cannot recommend Dr. Andrew Ray enough. Thank you for changing my life and giving me a confidence I never thought was possible. I will be forever grateful.

Time for my update and experience as of 09/28/14…read more I am going to share my whole story for those that care and are considering a similar cosmetic/life changing medical enhancement procedure : Abdominoplasty aka the "tummy tuck". That's exactly what I underwent and I couldn't be more pleased with the results even in this early stage of healing. It has been a mere 6 days since my procedure was performed at the skilled expertise hands of Dr. Chad Deal of Southern Surgical Arts located in Calhoun, GA. (They have a second medical building in Chattanooga, Tennessee as well.) Now, for those of you who may judge or have something negative to comment or think, -go ahead and waste your time, - you simply won't hurt my feelings. Now, where was I? Okay, let share the reason why I choose this route. 16 years ago yesterday, -I had my first and only child and my abdominal wall was naturally stretched out. Now, in most cases, the abdominal wall snaps back with proper exercise, care, etc. - but I was one of those that unfortunately dismissed exercise at that time and just settled with the bit of hanging skin that was left behind. Skip ahead to 2009. That is when I realized exercise was quite beneficial and not only lost many many pounds, - but got in great shape by mid 2010 and looked pretty good with my clothes ON. Fact. Well, during this time I even was doing 3 sets of 500 crunches 3x a day. A little tighter stomach but still the extra skin and not close to a bikini body. Jump ahead to this year. In April I joined X3 Sports in Inman Park after packing a good 25 pounds back on (slowly) over this past 16 months or so. And I even went with a personal trainer, the whole works. -At one time I had a record of hitting X3 Sports 89, -yes EIGHTY NINE days in a row. Still the sagging loose skin. -rest of my body showed great improvement. Enter abdominoplasty consultations : 4 of them. The first one (located in Midtown) told me I could get it almost right away and would be good to go in a week for a reunion in California I was hoping to attend. WRONG. UNREALISTIC. ***INTERUPTION! I actually have my follow up appt shortly in Calhoun so I have to continue this when I return. Hopefully getting my tubes out today. Oh, and it turns out that NO amount of exercise would have EVER given me these much-to-be desired (early) results. My abdominis rectus was over 5 1/2 cm separated and unattached. Thank You, Dr. Deal. I love this talented, warm, realistic, personable Doctor. So, the bottom line is that if anyone is SERIOUSLY interested, -message me and I can even send You the "before and after" pics, - what was cut off and sucked out, -me still on the operating table after the procedure, - and me today, -8 days later. (I don't know how well those pics would be received if I post them here, lol..) Anyway, I made the best decision EVER. This procedure goes hand in hand with self esteem, happiness, quality of life, and more. -And I am almost 44 years old. I so deserved this! Dr. Chad Deal @ SOUTHERN SURGICAL ARTS = AMAZINGLY CRAZY GOOD RESULTS. :)

Dr. Page was the third surgeon I met for my breast augmentation consultation, and she was by far…read morethe best.  The first two plastic surgery offices I visited had the nurse explain most of the procedure to me.  The surgeon came into the room afterwards, introduced themselves, took some measurements, answered some questions, and left.  Total time they spent with me was maybe 15 minutes.  The rest of the consultation was with the nurse.  When asked about possible complications such as infection and/or implant rejection, the response I received made me feel like my concerns were inconsequential. I left those offices with anxiety towards the procedure and decided against having it. One year later I decided to give it another shot and met Dr. Page.  My visit with Dr. Page was completely different from my first two plastic surgery consults.  Dr. Page came into the room, sat down, and explained the entire procedure including possible complications.  She gave me concrete statistics on the possible complications and also what treatments may be needed if a complication were to arise.  She was also transparent of cost.  Dr. Page also took the time to review the various types of implants including brand, shape, texture, feel, and size. The other offices only showed me one option of a breast implant.  When taking measurements, Dr. Page explained what the measurements were for and how the implant should look on our chest. She explained the difference between over and under the muscle and how you would choose which to do. She also had me put on a bra and try out different size implants to see which I preferred.  I must have spent at least 30 minutes trying on implants. Dr. Page stayed the entire time showing great patience as I went back and forth between a 200cc implant vs a 225cc implant, which is not a big difference. She answered all my questions and gave her professional opinion throughout the entire one hour visit.   I appreciate that Dr. Page recognized the magnitude of this decision for me, and gave me all the information I needed to make it.  At no time did I feel pressured into scheduling a surgery date.  She simply gave me all the facts I needed and encouraged me to take my  time to make my decision. Needless to say, I had my surgery with Dr. Page. Whatever anxiety I had in the pre-op room quickly melted away once Dr. Page came in.  She has an amazingly calm demeanor that immediately puts you at ease.   I am now six weeks out from my surgery, and I must say that I look pretty smokin'!  Dr. Page listened and respected the size that I wanted, which was small, and I am beyond happy with the results. Dr. Page is the way to go for plastic surgery! She is patient and will spend ample amount of time with you. She has a kind and calming demeanor and excellent bedside manner.  She is skilled and talented in her field (my incisions are nearly invisible).  It is apparent that patient care and plastic surgery is what Dr. Page was called to do.

They explained everything clearly during my consultation and answered all my questions without rushing me. What stood out the most was how much they actually cared and paid attention to the details. The procedure was EXTREMELY painful to have endured for ZERO results. Down time was lengthier than what I was told. When I went for my 3 month post-op, I was seen by an assistant, they took photos and even the assistant noticed the lack of results-literally no difference in photos from before to after. At almost 1 yr. post-surgery I was still experiencing sharp pains, numbness & soreness. I am HIGHLY disappointed & very upset that I fell for the hype and paid so much [$17,500] to have NOTHING to show for it. Over 17K is nothing to sneeze at-at least for me it's not. The doctor [Bedford] is the professional & if they didn't believe me to be a good candidate then they should have given the proper advice i.e. " you're a great candidate for this, but not so much for that", but of course it seems money was more important & why am I not surprised. Shame on AIRSCULPT. I'm clearly not alone here judging from other reviews. What they've done is not ethical. When the office contacted me, they offered to "take a look" & perhaps correct something BUT I would be INSANE & NAIVE to go back under the knife with AIRSCULPT when they were the ones to mess up to begin with. I also have to add that at some point in between sedation & semi-consciousness, I was shown a picture of "fat" they said was extracted from me BUT hindsight, now I believe that was a lie and could possibly be a container they just whip out at the end of a procedure to get the "wow" factor. I am actively exploring all available avenues to determine whether legal action is warranted. I find it difficult to believe that I am the only individual experiencing these concerns. Unless AirSculpt is prepared to discuss an appropriate refund or meaningful resolution, there is no need to contact me further. I take this matter very seriously and do not view it as a trivial issue.

Review for Dr. Connors' Office…read more I've always had a positive experience with Dr. Connors himself--he made me feel valued as a patient, and I appreciated the care I received during and after my procedure. I entrusted this office with my surgery and spent nearly $20,000 expecting a high level of professionalism and follow-through. Unfortunately, my recent experience regarding post-surgical care has been deeply disappointing. I was referred to the office's laser technician for help with scarring. At my first appointment, I waited over two hours without being seen and eventually had to leave. I gave it another chance and returned for a second appointment--this time I waited over an hour and a half before I was finally seen. The technician was polite and told me there would be no charge for that visit, and that I should return for a follow-up to assess healing and decide on next steps. However, when I called to schedule that follow-up, I was told there was a note on my file stating that the service would cost $150. The sudden change of communication was frustrating--not because of the fee itself, but because it reflects a lack of integrity and consideration for someone who has invested a significant amount of time, money, and trust in this practice. As much as I hesitate to say this, I cannot ignore how I felt during this experience. I did not feel respected or treated equitably. It left me with the impression that patients of color may not be valued the same way as others in this office. For that reason, I will no longer be a client of Dr. Connors' office, and I will not be recommending the practice to others.

On the very first treatment it significantly reduced the prominence of the "tree rings" I have had on my neck for more than 3 decades. Carey Dickerson has skillfully performed microneedling with the application of Sculptra to my face and neck. The results have been remarkable. She creates just enough trauma to the skin without going overboard. She is so knowledgeable about all the latest treatments. I can highly recommend this practice.
