New owners and the food is still delicious, if not better. We ordered eggplant, buffalo fingers, fries, and onion rings. Everything was outstanding! I have been looking for a place that has both eggplant and buffalo wings/fingers that are cooked perfectly. Braintree house of Pizza used to have decent versions of both but, in the past few years they have resorted to items that are obviously frozen garbage. Georgianna's has top notch ingredients and a fantastic family feel to the recipes they use . We are surrounded by pizza places here in Braintree, but this place is the best. I wanted to try Georgianna's because they won Pizza Palooza in Braintree a few years back. But because of the experience I had for mediocre pizza, I will not be a returning customer. I ordered delivery for 3 pizzas on a Friday night and charged it to my credit card. When the pizza arrived, one was too burnt to eat so I called them back and told them this. I was told that they would not be able to deliver another pizza to me that night because they had 6 other deliveries so I had to choose between driving in to pick up a new pizza or to get a refund. I chose to get a refund. So I checked my credit card the following Wednesday and still no refund, but I figured that it might take awhile to process. When Friday came around I checked again and still no refund so I had to call in to ask about it. I was told I had to go in person to pick up a cash refund. I wasn't told this last week.. so if I hadn't checked or called, I wouldn't have gotten a refund .... The way they handled the situation was very disappointing. Summary: 1) Their pizza was average 2) Their customer service was not that great (not friendly, not aggressively impolite but borderline rude) 3) They should not have sent out such a burnt pizza.... read more

Georgianna's is not only the friendliest and most professional pizza/sub shop I have ever ordered from, but it's the ONLY shop our house will order from. From the staff that takes your order, to the people that prepare your food and even down to the delivery person that takes it to our door..nothing but absolute amazing! NO..I do not know these people and I'm not related to them..seriously..they are truly awesome.. It's actually really nice when you find somewhere that actually cares about their customers and takes care of them. This is the place. The food is always super hot and very delicious. I've called in the middle of dinner time and always have had a friendly voice on the phone..and I've never been treated rude! One time time soda was omitted from my order and they went and got it and brought it back!!! When I open the door the delivery person is standing there always with a big smile and very nice. Georgianna's was a nice in & out spot for lunch. Seating is limited to three benches outside, so either grab & go or have only a handful of people with you. They have various specials daily and a plethora of great sandwiches and wraps. Pizza is their staple food, however. The food is good, and the staff is really great. Good, local place. When we have people over for takeout (like a party) we get pizzas from here and they are always solid. Family run, nice people. They might come off as abrasive when you first go in there but they care about their customers and the quality of their food. The subs and sandwiches are great, the fish and chips on Fridays are awesome and a great deal for the amount of food you get. The one knock against it I think is that it does look a little run down. There was a sign on the outside of the store stating that they would sell a meatball parm or veal parm hero and. 20 oz soda for $6.99... Too good to be true... I asked the clerk how big.. E said 12 inches... Wow!!!! It gets better... The veal was the most amazing veal I ever had... Better than fine dining restaurants even.." Super soft and tender.. Nice provolone or mozzarella circular cheese slices and flavourful sauce.... An amazing sandwich... A good, I never wanted it to end.... Now the bad... The people who work there are complete DRIPS!!!!! All of the above that I wrote about how amazing the sandwich and food was, I went back a week later while I was still in town.... I told this to the clerks and the owner..... They were like "ok.. Thanks" in a "Percocet " tone..lol.. They didn't give a shit!!!! And the owner, or whoever it was even asked me if I was sure about what I said.... Really?? Lol. So a customer just tells the owner that this is the best veal parm I ever had... I stop in at least once a week on my way home from work. The food is good and the portions are very generous. The staff is great and very friendly. My company orders from here frequently so I gave them another go solo as I have had a bad experience with the staff and now we are back at square one. I was ignored for the first few seconds I was in then when I made it to the counter the woman cooking snapped at me if I called ahead. When I said no, she asked everyone else (who was already serviced) if they had a call ahead order. When they all said no, she asked what I wanted. The #9 is always my favorite and eating it was still good, but the service level and attitude from the few staff that were there was absolutely poor. Georgianna's is literally Braintree's only hope for good pizza. Everything else is just a sloppy Greek mess. The guy who answers the phone is top-notch. He's very professional, but, at the same time, you can tell he'd out-drink you at a BBQ. I have never once had a problem with them meeting their time estimates, either. They are always on time, always pleasant to deal with, and the food is consistently good. You don't get a great pizza one day, and then a crappy pizza the next. These people know the deal. Unless you like a disgusting Greek pizza made in a pan, with sauce that has more sugar in it than a case of Pixy Stix, don't even waste your time with any other pizza in Braintree. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the subs, wraps, and pizza at this takeout joint near the Braintree/Randolph line are all quite good. I recently started a new job and this is the place my coworkers recommend and seem to order from frequently. Their pizza was served at an office party, and I enjoyed it, so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, I have been disappointed in them thus far. On attempt #1, I ordered a greek salad and halfway through eating, realized there was hard boiled egg chopped in pieces mixed with the feta. Since I have an egg allergy, I had to quickly stop eating, but 15 minutes later I was in the bathroom vomiting :( Now I have seen places but egg on salads before, but it's usually a big slice on top so I know right away- not mixed throughout! Yuck- this would be gross even if I wasn't allergic!!!! On attempt #2 I ordered in person. I asked for my wrap with NO DRESSING (as it also contained egg). The man taking my order repeated it back to me, and I heard him tell the cook, who then repeated it back to him. I took this as a good sign~ but apparently I was wrong... when I got back and sat down to eat it, my wrap not only had dressing on it, but so much that I would classify it as EXTRA dressing!!!! Overall, I will give them another chance at some point, but I'm really in no rush to go back. read more
