    Cheese pizza

I was worried about this one - Dave gave it a high score but it was an old video and sometimes those scores are inflated - but Rosie's may have been one of the best normal pizzeria slices I've had. Typically, Dave's top places are wood/coal oven pizza places - rarely does a normal pizzeria style pizza receive such an elite score. Despite burning my face off on my first bite, the crisp was spectacular - no flop and a nice crunch - and the sauce and cheese worked perfectly together. It's a bit of a drive from Boston, but well, well worth it. Excellent pizza!

My partner and I got a large cheese pizza and small house special pizza - TASTE: 4/5 - enjoyed the sauce on the cheese pizza, and the saltiness of the pepperoni and sausage on the house special TEXTURE: 4/5 - the dough was thin and crisp, and the crust wasn't dry. I liked the crunch of the onions on the house special too PRICE: 4/5 - the total came out to ~$30 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - small is 12", large 16", and XL 20". Our pizzas were good for dinner and we had sliced leftover for the next day SERVICE: 4/5 - we called to place our order, and our food was ready when we walked in at 4:30pm on a Thursday to pick it up ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - Rosie's was empty when we arrived, but the seating area looks recently renovated w more modern paint and furniture PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in the lot attached

Pizza was honestly really disappointing. I called in and ordered for pickup and they said 15 mins. I was shocked because I never thought pizza could be done so early so I figured it was super thin. Anyway $22-$26 for large pies so that's pretty standard in Boston area and I got the meat lover and Buffalo chicken. Both did not taste good... the Buffalo chicken was better but really bad. Dominos taste way better

This review is JUST for the cheese pizza. We have had it 3 times and we're from NYC. We saw Dave's review (one bite) and he's from mass so while we were visiting family we decided to try it out. Good crust, solid - bubbly yet soft with a crisp, decent sauce and cheese was on point! Def recommend!

Based on my friend's recommendation, I decided to try this pizza place. I got a small mushroom pizza. Parking was convenient since there was a parking lot on the side of the pizza place. The pizza itself was rather disappointing. There was hardly more than 2 mushrooms on each pizza slice and the pizza crust was very chewy. I felt it was a bit undercooked.

My favorite food in Braintree!! I grew up in this town and even though I don't live here anymore, I still make the drive to get their food. I honestly prefer this "sub shop" food over any restaurant in town. The tuna club has the best tuna I've found anywhere! The flavor is very unique and addicting. The pizza is as delicious as people say it is and lives up to the hype; foldable slices of thin crispy crust with a sweet sauce and lots of cheese. And omg the buffalo chicken!! They make their own unique creamy buffalo sauce that you can buy by the bottle, which says a lot about the cult-following this sauce has. Definitely check this place out!

On our last stop of our pizza tour, Junior and I decided to go to Rosies. We came here because of a monster review that we saw on YouTube from a very well known pizza reviewer. We got there, the place is hot as hell but very cool looking And you could tell they been doing this a long time. We ordered a plain cheese pie and it was sent to our table promptly. The cheese and the sauce were very tasty and at first bite, I absolutely loved it. When I got towards the crust though, I noticed a grainy substance all over the bottom of the pie. It could've been cornmeal, or semolina, but it was a little bit much for me. The crust was light, I wish I had a little more crisp, but it was very good. I'm going with three stars on this pie

Half pepperoni, "half mushroom". Was very soggy and oily

Their banh mi is really good and it's made fresh. The staff will warm up the bread and they were generous with the filling. They also put fish sauce on the bread and that gives it more flavor. You can choose spicy and they'll add jalapenos in. The fresh spring rolls were okay, nothing fancy but it was a good appetizer. They are located inside South Shore Plaza. You order from the counter and when your food is ready, they'll call your number. They have lots of seating inside the shop. I went on a weekday an hour before closing and they weren't busy. Overall, I was very happy with my food and their prices were reasonable.

When she came by our table about 15-20 minutes later to check on how we were doing with our meals I informed her of the uncooked homefries and the wrong pancake and while she did apologize I'm shocked that she didn't even offer to have the kitchen remake my food the correct way! She did take the price of my plate off the bill but didn't take the price of the incorrect pancake off even though I barely touched it lol. It seemed silly to buy a whole quart of firewood at the end of the season, so we've been going to the grocery store. The wood is sub par, wrapped in environmentally unfriendly plastic and pops A LOT! So when we were driving past this place in Milton, we gave it a shot. They are lovely and will load firewood into your car for you. I went on my way home while wearing a suit, heels and formal coat, and the gentleman helping us out would not let me touch a log. Their wood burns very nicely and is the perfect size. There are very few pops and the wood is high quality. We recently relocated to the Boston area, and had purchased wood from another source in NY. This wood is far superior to what we had previously ordered and we plan to order it in bulk next year. Bonus points, this quaint store has nice freshly baked bread, flowers and gourmet goods as well as some staples. Only thing I would recommend is adding some Iggy's baguettes.
