There aren't many soul food restaurants in the Inland Empire, so this place is definitely a nice find. The catfish was to die for , flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. My only critique is that the sea bass did not taste or look like sea bass to me; it looked more like catfish. Other than that, the food was solid. Carlos, the young gentleman who helped with our order, did a great job. All of the servers were very nice and continued to check on our table throughout the meal. I would also recommend adding some music or R&B ambience to give the restaurant more of a soulful environment. They were playing good music, the server was very friendly AND you even get a free cornbread muffin when you dine in. The server was nice enough to throw in some more free cornbread too while we were waiting for our meals. The gumbo itself was very flavorful. Georgia's is frequently busy but always delicious. The best sweet tea you'll find outside of the south and fantastic grilled fish. The cornbread is perfect. Came here for brunch with a bunch of girls on a Saturday. No line or waitlist! Servers were really attentive and sweet. Perfect place to come for brunch with a larger group. You get free cornbread and butter as an appetizer while waiting. All the girls basically inhaled it. You typically order ahead and sit down but they can take your order at the table as well, but won't be able to split the check in the end. The meals were good but not to die for. Everyone was content. They made a mistake with my order but quickly made up for it in ways that made me very satisfied. People make mistakes, especially with particular orders like mine, but the staff here own up to it right away with kindness. It was very much appreciated. Always wanted to try this place. Glad I did. And I'd come back. Mac n cheese was great too. My gf ordered the chicken and waffles and said it was good. Another ordered oatmeal and said it was really good. The biggest red flag was that my sweet potato pie had hard seeds in it or I'm not sure what I bit into. Gumbo: lacked flavor and seasoning had lots of chicken and only 1 shrimp. Decided to try Georgia's on the way home from a day at the spa. What was impressive was the owner was bringing out plates to the customers. You don't see that often on small business restaurants, she is also personable and friendly. The Food: I ordered the fish and grits. I had mine with fried catfish but you do have the option to get Sea Bass, those are the only two fish they offer. The fish was cooked well the flavor was lacking. I'm not a heavy seasoning person but the seasonings were off. The fish is fried in cornmeal and it was a bit overcooked. The grits were grainy and again lacked flavor. I could taste more pepper than anything. The fried green tomatoes came out piping hot, were fried in cornmeal and again the flavor lacked. The three things about all the dishes; when I added hot sauce, the sauce that came with the FGT and creole sauce (from another person's bowl) when I asked for a side of cajun sauce, it had a different taste than from my friends plate. The cornbread was better and the butter given I didn't confirm but tasted like a honey butter was good. The owner did come by and ask how the food was. She was receptive to the feedback and did compensate me for my meal and stated she hopes I am willing to give them another try. I definitely will. This isnt the worst soul food I've tried BUT Georgia's customer service is top notch and deserves a rating. When I return I will definitely come back to Yelp and add my review. read more

I'm so upset, ordered for pick up at 12:21pm and estimated confirmation said 17-20 min, I arrived at 12:40 and was told abt 8min for food to be ready...... 40 minutes later food was not ready...... not only am I now late back to work but I got 5 little onion rings !!!! Adam promptly brought our waters as well as some cornbread muffins to the table for us. Our food was served quickly and Adam checked on us from time to time but we never felt rushed through our meal. The food was incredible! The shrimp and grits were perfect and I opted to get their house blend cheese put on top. The chili cheese fries were HUGE for being labeled a small bite! We had to order food and pay for it at the counter. Then the server brought food to our table. There wasn't a lot of people there at that time. So we were able to get a table right away.
