I was hesitated to go with XPEL PLUS since a lot of people mentioned the bluish color of that specific product doesn't match with the back windows. However, the color doesn't bother me. Also, I can get the clear view from the inside of my car which is great. My car mirror automatically adjust color already so I was worried what I can't see my side mirror reflection but it's clear as you see. The reason why I choose this shop is the skillset. The tints of the windows are very neat even though I'm not an expert. I'm glad that I found this place on Yelp! For your reference, my car is Volvo XC90.

Yesterday, while driving on the freeway, a vehicle in front of me ran over a piece of tire debris that flew back and hit my bumper. I like that it's dark enough for privacy, but not too dark that you can't see at night. As for the front windshield, I appreciate that it's tinted enough to block out the sun and not too dark that other drivers can't see me. Of course, my luck struck and the convertible top stopped working today, which made accessing the rear window extremely difficult since it couldn't be put halfway down. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

He parked in the garage and set to work repairing the cracks and afterwards, sealing it. Total time was probably half an hour to an hour, and in the meanwhile he answered all our questions, and even offered us some tostada style chips covered in churro seasoning. The repair was finished in no time, and he was very honest about what it would look like and if it would disappear (spoiler alert: was a bad hit so it won't be invisible unfortunately) It was fine to me. He's been telling me that the scar cannot be removed and you will still see it. What is the point to fix it then? He charged me $145 for one small little chip ( including his travel fee) when he doesn't even have a shop anyway. I told him that I am not happy about the results, but HE SAID HE IS SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. HE WAS SATISFIED WITH HIS WORK. I guess He doesn't care about the customers, but only his feelings. He offered me to clean windows with special tools, but you will be disappointed. Totally NOT WORTH IT. I just got ripped off. I have to look for another repair shop for sure.
