This is my favorite sandwich shop in the Idaho falls area. They have a huge selection of soups , sandwiches and baked goods all made from scratch. All priced reasonably and they have a phone rewards program. Plenty of parking and a drive through if you are in a hurry. My favorite is the Italian on sourdough. My husband loves the Ruben. This is a cute bake shop in a central location. Lots of yummy baked goods, sandwiches, and salads. They do have breakfast, but not as large a selection as breakfast places in Idaho Falls. This shop is in Ammon. There is no wait staff, so no limitless coffee... brought by a server. However there is limitless coffee at the drink stand. I had the Beef Philly Steak on sourdough. Stopped here on our way back from Yellowstone. This place has a variety of sandwiches to choose from and are all made from scratch. ( we tried the Reuben sandwich and the Philadelphia Cheesesteak). Price might be a little high for just a sandwich but they were top notch. There are a lot of gluten free options (sandwiches, brownies, cookies). I love to support local and small businesses, but I hate when they they mark up their price astronomically! We paid $8 ( no sides, just the sandwich) for this tiny sandwich and I'm sorry, but not impressed. Chicken breast was juicy, but stale and had a very unpleasant taste and smell to it. Veggies were soggy and not appetizing at all. I only took a bite and was done. The chicken noodle soups was watery and absolutely flavorless. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! Now granted I know they are not known for their food as much as they are for their pastries, so we will return to try those. read more

I've always had a secret love for this place because it shares a name with my mom. But because of its location, it's sooooo far away out in Ammon, I often forget that it's there. But yesterday I needed a fancy bread to go with my dinner and didn't want to leave the house. Who allows Doordash to deliver their lovely bread? Why, Geraldine's does! I also got a cinnamon roll and a sugar cookie for good measure because if it's being delivered, better make it worth it! The sourdough bread was perfect and it held up to my homemade soup perfectly. The sugar cookie was a delight, all Christmas colors and sprinkles, and it was huge! Geraldine's has amazing baked goods. What I have had off of their menu is excellent as well! It is well worth the trip.

Their food is pretty cheap. I'd say the meals are pretty average though. If you are really broke but need to grab some food, then their soups are cheap and pretty good for what you pay for. It seemed like their baked goods are the best. I tried their cinnamon roll/bun, and it seemed overly sweet. But I heard their pumkin rolls are to die for! I totally agreed with other comments about the sandwich and soup being to high in cost for what you receive . The young man that took my order was annoyed when I asked questions about the soup . I have food allergies and have to be careful about the things I eat . He asked his co-workers then came back and pointed out the soup board with the listing of basic ingredients .The young mans manner and tone of voice and overall body language was impolite and annoyed . In a word: yum. Hubs and I went in for lunch. I got the French dip on french bread, he got the California club on whole wheat. The French dip was soooo delicious. The meat and dip had great flavor and the bread was perfectly crusty so it didn't get too soggy when dunked. Hubs sandwich was heavy on avocado, just the way he likes it. Most sandwich places skimp on the avocado or charge extra. Not here! I also got a day old cinnamon roll to take home. It wasn't bad, but it had a little hint of lemon flavor which was different. I wasn't a huge fan, but that's a matter of personal preference. It was a perfectly, soft yummy roll otherwise. We'll be back! read more

I've eaten here three times. The food is OK. I'm not overwhelmed by it, but the sandwiches are not bad. I had a Reuben today and it was pretty good. I also ordered a creampuff that looked good. The thing is with these little places is you would expect the food to be better. And the creampuff tasted like I could've got it from Walmart. It had that mass-produced taste. The thing that stands out for me about this place is the service. They are ready enough to take your order, and the order comes out fairly quickly. But they don't talk to you are generally unpleasant, like you have interrupted them or something. The first time I ate here a teenage boy took my order basically just grunted at me. Today it was a young woman, and she took my order, took my money, and essentially just turned away from me. No "Thank you," no "I'll have you order out in a minute," or even "here's your drink," it was more of an "OK I got your money I'm done with you. Your food will get there when it gets there" sort of feel. I'm all about local and operated, but for the price you pay this place is just OK. read more

Sandwiches are just perfect! The French dip is the best I've ever had. Flavorful and crusty. The turkey ham salad sandwich with almonds is really interesting I'm a big fan . The soups are homey and wonderful . The baked goods aren't my favorite . I've never had a bakery item that is to die for. Chocolate chip cookies should use semi sweet and not milk chocolate, but that's just my personal preference. The bread is really great though. Bonus: they have a drive thru!! We visited this bake shop today for lunch and it was not a good experience. I was meeting a friend there and when I got to the counter there was no one else there so I chose my sandwich and soup and as i handed the clerk my card, I looked up the line of people that just came in and on the very tail end was my friend so I said to her come up here so we can eat together. I had already paid for my food and offered to pay for hers but she insisted she pay for her own. The clerk took her card and then scolded me for allowing her to fudge in line in front of the group that was behind me. She told me that she would allow it this time but next time she will not allow it. I could not for the life of me understand why I would be treated so poorly and embarrassed by this clerk. Simply the best place in town for so many delicious things. Have stopped in for sandwiches & always amazing!! Then you need to take with you a couple cookies, love the white chocolate macadamia cookie & the sugar cookies. This is a place I will NOT go to ever again the food is gross they claim to be made fresh daily and that's a lie, it's all frozen and not worth the price, the staff there act like it was an inconvenience to them to take my order and the girl who looked like she was in her 20's just dropped my food on my table. Came in for brunch around 10 am on a Friday and there were at least 5-7 employees working. Every employee seemed annoyed by our presence. We were not greeted when we entered, we were not told of any of the specials or informed of any good choices, even after staring at the small menu for almost 5 minutes. When we left we both said thank you and waved goodbye, two of the 5-7 employees heard us and neither of them showed any sign of response. Awkward environment. The reason for my low rating is the fact that for the past three months they have messaged me on a daily basis with their offers. I have politely requested time and time again that they remove me from their messaging list as I never signed up for it in the first place.
