Horrible attitude. I order breakfast to go. Specially order bacon and egg NO CHEESE. Person that answered the phone was short and not friendly. When I arrived the lady just sat there and pointed to the back when I told her I had to pick up a to go order. I left and as soon as I took the first bite it had cheese. When I returned to tell them they got my order wrong was met with a really rude response. No sorry, no respect. Just rude people. Then the lady talks about me to the people in the back like I'm the problem. All I did was tell them they got my order wrong and please remake it. Instead I was given nasty looks and talked about right in front of me. I will say when they remade the sandwiches they were very good. Shame about the customer service though read more

Had just checked out of hotel and had missed the complimentary breakfast so we looked for good local place for breakfast before we hit the road. My Idaho omelette was spot on. Never had an omelette fixed this way but I loved it. Great service as well. read more

Breakfast and lunch menu. Came across this small restaurant after reading reviews. They are open from 7-3 pm. From Hostess to server CJ, great service. The food is very tasty. Good size portions for the price. Their biscuits ( light and fluffy) and the strawberry jam is fantastic. I had the expo omelette with Spanish sauce. Great flavors. If you are driving through and need a place to eat, I would highly recommend this place. Seats about 40 so it's quaint and easy to get to. read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - 5 Car Pile Up with hash browns was good. Most of the flavor came from the gravy with the potatoes fairly bland and the country fried steak fairly salty. The egg was already popped when it arrived at our table :( Idaho Omelette with hash browns and French Toast was tasty with some sweet from the toast and salty from the gravy. The country gravy is absolutely delicious! The hash brown only has a light cook so it's not crispy and not very seasoned so you can adjust to your liking. Ambience: 5/5 - clean with a bright feeling overall Service: 5/5 - quick and efficient while staying friendly. Great service! We were seated immediately and had many servers checking in with us. The menu had a variety of breakfast and lunch options that seemed filling and fairly priced. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and everyone in our group was satisfied. It's a smaller diner but groups kept coming in and I was surprised how busy it was for a Tuesday morning. Hidden in the strip mall next to Cal Ranch in Ammon! It's so delicious. I had pancakes with their homemade butter pecan sauce and oh my goodness....so delicious. Prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes too!! I forgot to take a before pic....but after filling my tummy I still had this much leftover for dinner tonight! read more

Love mom and pop cafes! We were seated immediately even though it was busy. Clean restaurant and restrooms. They really hustle here, and service is quick. Lots of choices. I was intrigued by their breakfast enchiladas. They were very tasty. Being from Arizona, I thought the sauce was mild, but still flavorful. Very disappointed in the hash browns and home fries - they weren't even brown. I guess that's the trade off for the speedy service. My sisters had eggs and bacon ( bacon is very crispy- probably cooked in the oven). My niece had a waffle which was good. Good coffee. Overall, very nice. read more

It doesn't seem like much but it was very good! Neat and clean inside. I got the scramble which was generous in portion with a pancake which was huge and delicious. The homemade strawberry jam was noted to be delicious by others. Husband got the country boy and the biscuit and gravy was very good. Would do again. read more

The biscuit and gravy was absolutely delicious. The scramble tasted a bit off and the avocado was underripe. I can't completely blame them for the avocado as the vast majority of avocados are grown in California and Mexico so they have to travel a fair distance to get to Idaho. The potatoes were a bit undercooked. The service was extremely fast, however. It arrived via DoorDash in around 20 minutes. read more

I really wanted to like this place, and was excited to see the high ratings for this place when I looked it up here on Yelp after seeing it as an option on DoorDash. I'm extremely disappointed. I ordered the 5 car pile up, my husband ordered the Idaho omelette. Both meals were completely unseasoned, absolutely no salt was used at all! My home fries didn't taste fried, there was no crispiness, and the gravy was flavorless. No, we don't have covid, we could taste our homemade coffee AND our breakfasts after we added a ridiculous amount of salt (husband said that the egg of his omelette remained bland even after salting, so I'm not really sure what sorcery was cast on our terrible meals to make them perpetually bland) and I drowned mine in hot sauce. I also had ordered a cup of "homemade chili," it was canned and probably Hormel. So, to top it off they straight up lie on their menu. Tl;dr Disappointing, bland, canned. Don't waste your money. read more

This place has the best breakfast! Hands down. And best prices. Not only friendly staff but super fast and attentive. I highly recommend their breakfast burrito, the Spanish sauce IS AMAZING. Always order a side of their wheat toast because its soooo yummy with or without their PHENOMENAL homemade jam. The breakfast bowl and western scramble also are super yummy. Highly recommend this place, they are closed Wednesdays, but open every other day 7am-3pm! read more

AMAZING FRENCH TOAST, great pancakes, and easy to get in too. The only downside is sometimes the server I've had is either super nice. Sometimes she seems stressed and less friendly. My very first visit was a good experience for both the food and service. I had a patty melt and it was tasty and the fries were very good. The waitress was efficient, attentive and kind. My buddy and his wife had just eaten here for their first visit and he ordered an omelette. He liked it enough, he ordered it when we came. I would definitely return. read more

You know, the food was just okay. Not so horrible that I didn't want to pay, but nothing to brag about or that would make me return. I had biscuits and gravy, and the biscuit was more like a piece of cake. I questioned the server about the item to get more info before I ordered. All she would say was that it was square. I asked if it was cut open then and the gravy put on it. She said no. Well okay?!?! I'm used to seeing baking powdered biscuits when ordering biscuits and gravy, so I thought that's what I'd get, but in a square shape as described by the server. ‍ Nope! It literally looked like cake and was similarly sweet like cake. The gravy was pretty flavorless and very few small pieces of sausage. I also absolutely did not like how I was greeted. when we walked through the door. The waitress hollered from probably 50 feet away "how many?" I watched and this happened to every customer after me. Can you not walk to me and ask me? It wasn't a friendly holler nor did I feel welcome by the server through my whole experience. I kind of felt like I was an imposition. Review trap. Not sure why this place has such high reviews. The staff was pleasant and attentive but the food unfortunately came up really short of my expectations. I ordered the Reuben and my wife got a classic burger. It was obvious the ingredients were not fresh but come from the freezer and/or from a nearby bulk-buying grocery store in lieu of sourcing fresh, local ingredients. I consider myself to be an excellent home cook and we have a knack for finding great eateries, so it's rare when I experience a place whose food is well below my own cooking ability. Won't be returning. read more

Established in 2015.

We opened in 2015 here in Ammon Idaho. Previously we owned a restaurant in Prescott Valley, Arizona. We moved away from Arizona to be closer to family and recently we had the opportunity to get a restaurant opened again. We are a family owned restaurant and focus on quality ingredients, good food, and good service.

Meet the Business Owner: Doug F.

Doug was raised in the business world. His parents owned a few different restaurants and after working in them for a while, Doug decided to go a different direction and went to work in the financial world. Doug worked in the management section for banks and credit unions. After 10 years Doug decided that banking and corporate world was no longer what he wanted to do. Doug has a passion for helping others and getting to know them, so he convinced Pam, his mother, to help him re-open a restaurant so that they could provide some great food to the community and get to know the community a little better. You will often see Doug's wife in the restaurant helping out as well as his little kids when they are out of school.

However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. I love that they even had a posted policy that you couldn't linger for 20 minutes after your meal was through so the others could get into the restaurant. They only serve breakfast and brunch, which I love because they specialize. The restaurant is older, but you could tell that they tried to keep it looking nice and the decor adds to the ambiance. We ordered the Cap N' Crunch French Toast and it was fun and delicious. The baguette added the perfect texture and balance. We also ordered the breakfast nachos and the sauces are drinkable! So good! The toppings were fresh and plentiful. We shared two dishes among three people and it was more than enough.

The restaurant was very busy so I can attribute some of the wait and inaccuracy to that, but we waited a long time for drinks as well. It is on the river and you could sit inside or outside. There are usually ducks outside and I've often seen a bald eagle up in the trees. The food is really good and big portions. Definitely come here if you're in Idaho Falls.
