We stopped at this nice little dinner because we needed to be on the road early and this diner opened at 5 am Charlie, our waitress greeted us and served us coffee and a glass of water. She was cheerful and gracious at 6 am and she showed us good customer service. I ordered the biscuits and gravy while my wife ordered the French toast with Sunny side up eggs and bacon. Our breakfast was cooked perfect with a fantastic taste . This is a very good place for breakfast and I will come back again when passing through.

Stopped in Idaho Falls on my way to West Yellowstone, was looking for a place for a brunch and this was one place that caught my eye. At first walking in I was a bit skeptical because it's not the nicest looking place, like you walked into a Time Machine almost lol. Old time diner vibes. Everybody that worked there was super friendly and attentive. The food was really tasty and I will say their homemade sourdough bread was actually very good! I got the country style sandwich which had country fried steak and eggs on it, was very tasty especially with the added gravy dipping sauce. The only negative thing I would have to say is the steak wasn't as tender as I would have liked, was kinda hard to bite into. The omelet had good flavor and very big portions. Overall I was pleased with my choice to stop here.

Stopped here for breakfast based on reviews. Food was really good and I have to call out the toast.......maybe odd to say but bread tasted/looked homemade and an amazing addition to the already great meal. Service was great and very friendly. Checking in and bringing coffee refills. Loved my experience here and would come again.

My husband and I now have a favorite breakfast joint. It's really good food and the servers are always friendly and welcoming.

The staff was SUPER friendly! So kind and didn't mind us sitting in the corner for a few hours while we worked. The internet worked great! We had both breakfast and lunch here. For breakfast, she warned my fiancé that the pancakes were huge! For lunch we split a sandwich and they split it onto two plates for us, which was so nice of them. Sadly they close in the afternoon otherwise we'd have stayed even longer and kept working and purchasing. It is attached to the gas station shop and shares a bathroom, that's a little weird but the good food and kind people makes up for it. We had "sidewinders" which I'll include a picture of they're the potatoes that look kind of curly, they're delicious!

We also ordered and paid for an omelette with a side dish of hashbrowns. Didn't get hashbrowns!!! We thought we were the subjects of a practical joke because the food we did get was a joke!!! We want a refund!! I wish I had checked my to go order before driving off. Had I looked in the bag I would have asked for a $18 refund!!

We made a trip from Hawaii to Salt Lake City specifically to visit the Idaho Potato Museum (long…read morestory). Drove almost 4 hours to get there and then another 3+ hours to Boise to visit friends and flew home from there. Was it worth it? Well, we actually had a really great time! There was enough to keep us interested for a couple hours. Typical museum displays were supported by videos, some talking potatoes, even a cute Virtual Reality Tractor and some video games. After we went through the exhibits, we ended at the cafe and got a baked potato and some fries. You can have anything you want on them, so we got chili and cheese, sour cream, and bacon. The only sad part was that they were out of gnocchi. Lots of parking and there are some shops in the area. So, yes, we're really glad we went and recommend it if you're in the area.

First off, this was my wife's idea!…read more I mean, when you're driving through the middle of BFE, Idaho, and you see a sign for a potato museum, you usually just keep on driving, right? Well, not this time! All jokes aside, this was a fun little wayside distraction, tucked away "in the back" of Blackfoot, but worth it for the kitsch and novelty of the whole thing. Our kids certainly loved it, particularly the potato family projection in the "basement" that narrates the harvesting and storing of potatoes; our three year old couldn't stop staring and laughing! In additions to displays, videos and dioramas detailing every potato fact you might ever want to know (and more), there's also a quaint little café at the back purveying all manner of potato products, from fries and other fried things, to the good ol' Irish Sundae (a baked 'tater dressed just how you like it), so you can get your carb load for the day in whatever form you desire! Admission is cheap (a few bucks per person), and a great way to kill some time, or break up the monotony of a road trip.
