I've been here several times in the past. Today ordered BLT XTRA WELL BACON. Picked up our orders & left. Got home & saw bacon was raw & rubbery. Dumped the sandwich but decided to call so they would know. The manager said I needed to drive it back in & have another made as people were complaining to get free sandwiches. I assured her that was not what I was doing. Will not return. Can go to Great Harvest& have a nice sandwich for about same $. read more

This place is great for value and taste. They will make the sandwich the way you want, the bread is excellent and the service is rough, but excellent past the exterior. The atmosphere could use and upgrade. The tv is always turned to something mindless and the tables and chairs are not comfortable . Get your sandwiches to go and eat along the river at one of the beautiful parks. read more

Rolled up and hopped on the phone with the family to get some food orders. Was thinking, wow, hole in the wall, should I go elsewhere. But as we talked, so many people rolled in, got food and it hinted to me - good food, fast service, regulars returning frequently. I am SUPER thrilled I decided to go for it. Sooo yummy, fresh and tasty. We stopped here on a road trip and found it easy to locate. The staff was friendly and service was quick even though the place was packed. Our family really thought the bread was soft , fluffy and let the other ingredients shine. I found it funny they didn't offer cheddar cheese, but there were plenty of other choices. Other than Carnagie Deli in NY have I been to a better sandwich shop. The gals behind the counter are no holds bar have your order ready and don't ask when yours is ready. The one taking our order was super nice. The shop is decorated pretty basic but it works. Nothing outrageous. I ordered the Angel 12". The most popular sandwich. The place was packed after I placed my order. They have stacks of 24" sandwiches in the refer waiting for pickup. She called my name out and I picked up my order. Probably 8 people waiting for pick ups. The bread is super soft. The sandwich is a little flatter than other shops. The flavor was fantastic. There was a lot on the sandwich so I'm saving the other half for later. Definitely going to come back. read more

Horrible service. I went in and I believe it was the owner and manager were so rude. Heard the service was bad but until I saw it for myself I didn't believe it. At what point does one admit that one has as an addiction? Once a week? Twice a week? Three times a week? Are they putting addictive substances in the #11 (Turkey and pastrami)? I'm starting to be concerned for myself... 8" Turkey and pastrami on wheat bread, pepper jack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, all the sauces, pickles, olives, peperoncinis, jalapeños, and if I'm feeling dangerous- alfalfa sprouts has never tasted so good. Try it out, and thank me later. The bread is just so fresh and light and fluffy, and all the ingredients are so fresh and tasty. Quick service, amazing sandwich, and friendly staff. We stopped in to pick up a sandwich (#18 - every meat with cheese) for lunch as we would be traveling all day. The lady at the counter was so helpful, and the sandwich was delicious. Sprouts on point, cheese amount was generous, and there was nothing missing from the order. The sandwich tree---- This place has never had the best sandwiches, and today I experienced the lack of customer service as well. I ordered my sandwich to go (and I don't usually complain) but when I got home just a few minutes later, it was soggy and the pineapple in my Hawaiian sandwich was completely missing. I called the place right away to promptly let them know I was unhappy. The manager 'Angel' said over and over that she saw the sandwich leave.... whatever that means ... and that I had to take the sandwich back in if I wanted compensation. WTH. I tried to settle this over the phone but she insisted I go in..... so I did. She said there was more than half the sandwich missing (not true, we could hardly eat the first bite, much less half the sandwich) she refused a refund, said again that she saw it leave the store and gave me a coupon for another sandwich at a later date. I didnt take the coupon because I refuse to go back. There is NO customer service with these people and they are always late with your order. Not to mention they had to throw my sandwich 'back into the microwave' to melt the cheese'. Eewww!! This place is NOT recommended, and Under very poor management. read more
