I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

I'm the general manager of a large scale HOA, and we had 10 wooden patio covers and trellises that needed work. They helped us get rid of two, and they replaced the other eight with Elitewood Ultra. Several of these were large, curved covers and one was a large gazebo with a gabled roof, which required replacement of the asphalt singled roof as well. Dave did the initial estimation for me, and Louie mostly took over from there, but everyone at Take Cover was knowledgeable and easy to work with. They got the permits for our project with relative ease, and the communication and scheduling were great throughout the completion of the project. I'm so looking forward to not having to repaint them every 4-6 years or worry about any termites like our old wooden covers! It's been several months now, and they are performing and looking great. In fact, when we inquired about the care and upkeep of the palm trees, we were told they needed no additional care other than our drip system that was already installed. When we brought up our concerns about our palm trees after 6 months, we were shrugged off and told that the warranty for the palm trees was only 30 days, even though we were told a year. They also stated that we should've been following maintenance tips (which we never received). We hate to write poor reviews but felt it was necessary for other future customers to know. We are so sad and disappointed it had to end this way with the company, as we initially left feeling great and taken care of. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case and we would find it hard to trust them again to do future landscaping. We hope this review helps prevent any miscommunication and better communication with customers moving forward.
