I had my 2012 Maxima repaired at Gerber Collision & Glass at the Austell GA location after an accident in 2025. It required replacement of the headlight on the passenger side. The headlight on the driver's side now appeared somewhat dull in comparison. I contacted Gerber Collision to have them give me an estimate regarding replacing that headlight. Mr. Jimmy and his team were able to buff out the dullness and restore the clear visibility of the headlight, all at "no charge". I would absolutely recommend this business for any vehicle repairs. My insurance company uses this collision center as a preferred agent. Took seven weeks after my accident to finally reach the appointment day. The same day they completely disassembled my vehicle with only front end damage and deemed it a total loss. I was then given the runaround for answer and when deciding to retain my vehicle many pieces were missing, staff was rude and condescending. I would not recommend at all. I understand things happen and we all have jobs but the lack of customer service is mind blowing. read more

I brought my car in for repairs after being rear-ended. They're on my insurance company's list of preferred repair shops. I had used them 3 other times and was satisfied which is why I brought my car back after the last accident. The repairs took much longer then they estimated. When I went to pick up my car it was repaired on the outside but the inside was trashed. There was trash on the inside, dust covered the back from the repairs and it looked like someone grind their shoes on my driver floor mats. I'm surprised to see the positive reviews. I had to take my car here to meet the adjuster after I was hit, but I told the insurance company I was having the work done elsewhere. There were several red flag issues at the place. The main one is that the adjuster MAJORLY low-balled the estimate (probably by thousands of dollars). As in, the car probably needs the quarter panel replaced (I showed her the rear door doesn't open) and she didn't include it at all. I told her the car pulls hard to one side when I drive it and the traction and ABS lights are on, and she put a tiny note at the bottom saying "customer says alignment feels off." Thankfully, my repair shop called the insurance company immediately and they are sending out another adjuster, but that will take 2-3 days. I feel like Gerber's behavior was spiteful, but they only spited themselves. Before this, my opinion of them was totally neutral. Now it's absolutely 100% negative and I'll tell anyone and everyone about it. I understand they have an agreement with the insurance co. to get extra work, but that's not really my problem. I didn't ask to get rear-ended by someone who was looking at his phone instead of the road. I prefer to choose my own body shop, an option USAA gave me. I was forced by USAA to come to Gerber for the inspection. I'd rather they sent an adjuster to my home, and save Gerber the time and me the drive, but they didn't give me that option. read more

I had to wait on Enterprise to pick me up with my rental ( they never came ) the guy there ( sorry I didn't get his name ) was so nice to me and my 3 month old son .. he continued to call Enterprise.after no luck he took me and my son there his self .. After my very first car accident, which also happened to be an unfortunate hit and run, I was left with a damaged bumper and tail light. I was referred to Gerber Collision & Glass by my insurance company, who also arranged for a rental car service to pick me up after dropping off my vehicle. I worked with Ashley who, after walking outside to survey the damage when I arrived for my early morning appointment, went over the process with me as far as letting me know when to anticipate the repairs being completed, how Gerber sends updates via text to its customers, and should anything change, that I would be contacted directly. I dropped my car off this past Tuesday and because it's the week of Thanksgiving, I was told it would be ready the following week, which was understandable. Shocked and elated would be the words to describe my reaction when I got the call today, the day after a holiday, that my car was ready for pick up! I went to Gerber with a busted tail light and bumper, and drove away 3 days later with my car looking like it did when I first bought it! The technicians even vacuumed the inside of my car and for me before bringing it out for Ashley to go over what was all done to the car and how to take care of the parts that were painted. Ashley, Rachel, and the guys at Gerber were professional, kind, and offered great customer service. This place deserves MORE than 5 stars. Recently, I hit a steel pole with my car. You know the kind that protects apartment call boxes from getting hit? Yeah, it worked in this case. However, my car lost the fight and I ended up filing a claim with my rockin' insurance company USAA to get it fixed. I took my car to Gerber for the estimate and then dropped it off Monday morning for repairs. I got a ride over to Enterprise, who hooked me up with an awesome rental for the week. It was supposed to take until the following Tuesday to finish my car, so imagine my surprise when Gerber called my husband and said it was ready on Friday afternoon. I'll spare you the details, but after spending my entire Saturday morning in Lithia Springs, it was determined that a mistake had been made and my car was not ready. I was pretty frustrated, but the GM, Brad did everything he could to fix the situation. I got another rental, handled completely by Gerber, and they also got my car ready for me a day earlier than originally predicted, to help resolve the issue. Everyone on staff was very apologetic for the incident, and I could tell they really do care that their customers are happy. Mistakes will always happen, but businesses that go above and beyond to fix them will always come out ahead. I was very happy with the state my car was in when returned. The repairs were done perfectly, and the car was cleaner (inside and out) than when I left it! Gerber gets 5 stars for great work and really outstanding customer service... the kind you don't get much anymore! read more

After a minor mishap I took my Acura to Gerber for repair as recommended by my Insurance carrier, Allstate. I have to say that Emily at Gerber was totally Awesome! The repairs on my car was done sooner than promised and I received daily updates from Emily and she inspected my car with me, explained all of the details when I picked it up. My car looks great!
