So I had to take my car into Gerber for some hail damage. Let me tell you... Ashley and Linda are amazing! The most friendly. The most kind. The most fun! I found myself laughing and having the best time both when I dropped my car off and when I picked it up. And Linda is the best at keeping you updated. She texted me regularly, so I never had any question about what was going on with my Mazda. This is the kind of business I wish I could frequent regularly just because of the people who work here. Only... not really, because I'm not trying to pay my deductible again. Maybe I just wish I worked with these people, even though I know nothing about body work. Anyway, Ashley and Linda are a fun time. They made something I expected to be a horrible experience actually great! Also, my car looks great! Good as new. I would give zero stars if it was an option. My adjuster and I were completely lied to about damage being from a previous incident. Not only had I not had any incidents but they tried to tell me the exact same thing recently. That is how they keep from covering the damage. such a scam. General opinion - awfully horrible. Collision repair (light collision) 1. Overall body work (extremely poor quality). All the gaps between the body parts were not evened up. Half of the plastic parts fasteners were missing after car body parts reassembly. Even though they could match the color of the paint, painting job itself is 1 out of 10 quality. Manager will smile in your face telling you about some sort of ridiculous blow on the messed up parts, which is total bullshit, cuz there is no other way fixing this painting mess than repainting the whole body part. They will use cheap not original parts like front lights, and make you wait longer, cuz this china crap needs more time in delivery than original part stored at the dealerships. 2. Hidden damage assessment either been done good and not performed, or they completely don't know what they doing. After a front hit accident every beginner knows that there can be damage to most fragile parts as bearings and radiator. Well, they most likely seen that after the accident the radiator was slightly damaged, but instead of replacing it they just caulked it(freaks), expecting that the car will gonna blow overheated after you forget about them. 3. Intentional attempt that you'll eventually kill yourself, and damage to your car after the service completion. Mechanic beginners know that if your hit was with the wheel, you most likely lost the alignment and having certain damage to your brakes. No alignment has been performed (caused the tires shredded in a month after the repairs), The hit wheel bearing and rotor got worn out after the accident causing extreme vibration during breaking. Their ridiculous excuse - insurance didn't pay for this replacements bla bla bla. Not the first terrible experience facing big network crap shops. Advice - never address your car repairs to big network shops, they suck, and sometimes dangerous for your car and your wellbeing as well! Just take insurance money and give your car to small owner operated businesses who care about you and your car! read more

I got in a wreck last year and was recommended by a friend to the manager Dustin. Seemed like a super nice guy. Fast forward a year later every single thing they fixed has an issue. From the paint drip, things they painted over, paint coming off the truck, missing parts, the list goes on and on. I contacted Dustin to inform him of the work his shop did and he got an attitude because I contacted him on his day off. Getting all tough guy with me, Not sure if he was having a bad day or what. I am not one to leave bad reviews as I have worked in the service industry and car industry for years, however, I can't excuse what transpired here. My car was in the shop for about a month or so. They gave me updates saying they assessed the damage and were nearing completion. However, that was not the case! We had a call saying my car needed an extra 5 days to complete, which was fine. However, I was texted the next day saying my car had more damages than originally expressed! If they had actually taken my car apart and done a diagnostic as they said they had, they would have known on May 30th what the damage was. When I went to pick up my personal effects, the only things done to the car were removing the tire, brake system, an axle, and my front bumper. No repairs were made! No work was done to my car! The fact is they lied about the status of my car to collect labor costs and holding fees! Due to the fact they have had my car for a month, my insurance no longer covers a rental! I now have to bike to work because they didn't do their job! Do not go here if you want the job done in a professional and upfront manner. read more

USAA directed us to this Gerber Collision. They returned the vehicle with multiple small pock marks in the newly painted area and a scratch in the leather seats from a metal item they picked off the floor of the car and placed/left on the seat while cleaning the car. When picking it up, my daughter identified the multiple tiny pock marks in the paint that looked like tiny bubbles that had been punctured in the center. The person quickly blamed it on "rock chips". This was the area of the accident that needed to be resurfaced/painted, so this was either a blatant lie to get out of doing the work, or they couldn't be bothered to look closely at their work and stand behind it It's not that they can't do decent work, it's that when they made a mistake, they didn't stand behind it. If I hadn't left a negative review, I don't think they would have been receptive to fixing their work. Even when they did reach out, they blamed the confusion on my daughter pointing to a different area of the car... However... my daughter took a video of it when she was picking it up before she left the lot, and she had no issues identifying the issue to me when she got home. Maybe if I had picked it up, they would have taken the concern seriously... Is the expectation that we should just accept that this was all a simple miscommunication in order to not make waves and get the work warranted? Is it too much to ask for them to apologize for their disinterest in the quality of their work when my daughter identified it to them? read more

When asking simple questions about my trucks repairs he was belligerent, condescending, and mentally imbalanced. RUN far and fast from this business. It has been a 3 month NIGHTMARE. The level of negligence, unprofessionalism, and disrespect from the employees and general manager is incomprehensible. My car had minor damage to be repaired and was returned to me with a newly broken window, missing parts, peeling tint, new dents, and a shaking drivetrain. After they took the car back to repair the damage and assess the drivetrain issue, they not only told me I was reasonable for their diagnostics but backdated - shady - my rental vehicle so that I was responsible for a rental car that I never wanted to be in. The general manager, Dustin, is the most disrespectful and unaccountable manager I have met in a very long time. He did not attempt to help me in any way, he chose to argue and tell me that my evidence of their dishonesty was a lie. Between the dishonesty, interdepartmental severe lack of communication, and awful workmanship, I don't know how they stay in business. Went to Gerber for repairs early last year it took 4 months to get in and I was told a 5 to 7 Day turnaround and ended up being 10 days. Experienced problems with the windshield wiper tank when I called they said they have a lifetime guarantee on their repairs took the car back by they reattached a hose that came off of the windshield wiper tank, problem solved. About a month ago I had the same issue again went to Gerber and was told by the assistant manager that I redamaged the tank and I needed to file a new insurance claim. Took the car to a different Auto repair and was advised that the hose to the wiper fluid tank was short which is why it kept coming off, no damage to the tank. I don't understand a lifetime guarantee if it's not going to be stood by but the assistant manager wasn't very helpful from the beginning he was actually pretty condescending. read more

Literally the worst shop I have ever dealt with. Could not match the paint on the door of the Jeep to the rest of the Jeep. They literally damaged my vehicle three times. Literally dented my Jeep. Not to mention they had my vehicle for around two months. They claimed they "forgot they had the vehicle" I have never heard of a shop doing more damage than when they received the car. My car was recently hit. I took it here for an estimate and repair. The workers were all so friendly and helpful, including the front desk employee! While I was in the waiting room, a man came in needing an estimate for his car as well. I could tell he was a little short tempered, but the front desk employee was still extremely patient and friendly with him. You don't see this type of customer service often in Denver. Woodie is the worker who completed the estimate on my car and he was very efficient with his work. He was extremely friendly and he took care of all of my problems/concerns swiftly. I chose Gerber collison and glass because I needed hail dents repaired and a new windshield. When I took the car for the estimate, Jose the estimator said that when I brought the car in for the repairs we would talk about the windshield. My husband dropped the car off on our scheduled day and time. He was told Jose would call us about the windshield and the clear bra that we had questions about. We didn't receive a call, so I sent Jose an email which was not returned. I finally called and asked about the clear bra and got an answer. We were still waiting on a call for the windshield and received a text the car was done. We were surprised because it was a week early. I called to be sure the car was ready to pick up and was told it was. When I went to pick up the car (no windshield) I told Jose that I was not happy with the lack of communication we had received. I told him I never had a response to my email about the clear bra and that I had expected that the windshield was going to be done. He told me that he didn't do glass repair! He then stated that he couldn't help it if my husband and I didn't communicate. I am not sure why he made that comment. He was so rude and told me to put my card in the credit card reader. He talked over top of me several times. I asked where my car was, and he said out there and the person behind the desk gave me my key and paperwork. He lacks customer service skills required to be in customer facing position. I gave the shop 3 stars because the hail dents were removed and my car looks great. read more

This place sucks. I had my front fender fixed here. I came to pick it up, there were more scratches on my car than when I brought it in! There was also paint drip marks on the front. What auto body thinks that's ok to give back to a customer like that??? I had to leave it there again for them to fix it. When I came back a week later, there was another scuff on the car that wasn't there prior to coming here. Wtf?? They then fixed it on the spot. Went to pay, they charged us TWICE! I had a horrible experience with this place. Flippant customer service (literally said he was screening his calls to avoid me, not funny), but most importantly they returned my car with damage that was not there when I brought it in. My car was purchased in April 2019 and they started hail repair in July 2019, so pretty much when I turned it in, there were only 1-2 scratches. I got it back with scratches all around the exterior, on the exterior molding and the interior roof is ripped! How could you not notice that? The main reason I went here was because they are open on the weekend (Saturday: 8am-12pm) and I had to get my car towed to a shop after my accident. This is for the S Colo Blvd location, as well as Gerber as a whole. WOW!!! AWESOME customer service!!! Jeff at the Colo Blvd location, as well as Traci in the Morrison location are the BEST. We have a fairly minor hit and run (I know, shocking in Denver, huh?) parking lot ding that caused our front hood to bend a bit, as well as some other cosmetic damage. I made an appt for an estimate at the CO Blvd location, as this is real close to us. Jeff got us an estimate quickly, and mentioned that his location was pretty busy and probably couldn;t get to us before January (estimate was in Oct). But showing the AWESOME service, Jeff and team were quick to recommend contacting the Morrison location, as they were probably not as busy - BOOM!! Car is getting worked on in 2 weeks!! In a time where (in my opinion) customer service is at an all time low, Gerber and Jeff stand out! Oh, and their 800# customer service people are great as well!
