This location will lie and deceive you. I wouldn't trust them if it was the last collision repair entity on earth. They provided me a Final Bill, detailing a specific tire to be put on my Vehicle. However, they lied and deceived me and put on a completely different tire than what was noted on their actual documentation that they themselves provided to me when I picked up my vehicle upon completion. This company evidently is on board with lying to and deliberately deceiving their clients. This is unacceptable. read more

Kim and Jerry were extremely welcoming and kind. I had an issue with my car when I got it to highway speed, brought it back, and Jerry and his tech immediately fixed it. After all of the body and paint work, my car looks better than before I had my car accident! The painter also used a solution to clear up my headlights. In late March my 2015 Outback was hit by a doe while I was traveling about 45mph just before sunrise on Dublin Road. Messed up my front left bumper and headlight, wound up being just under $4K in damages. Repairs arranged via claim with USAA. Prompt and professional communication, in person and on the phone. Additional, but not extensive, damages found after bumper removed. Was fortunate additional parts were readily available. Picked vehicle up at closing time on a Friday, Gerber had hustled to get a third party to calibrate headlights and for some electrical. On the way home an engine light came on (NOTHING was wrong with the engine, just a bad connection). First thing Monday morning Gerber immediately tracked down the third party tech, was available within three hours, fixed the issue within an hour. Car looks great and is running fine. Their people were up front with information, courteous, and hustled to get my vehicle fixed. Glad USAA chose them for my vehicle repair. read more

My car had been backed into with damage to the front the side. My insurance agent recommended Gerber who I called immediately. I talked to Vince on the phone who let me know not to worry that he would handle everything. I received text messages every Tuesday and Thursday letting me know the status. Vince was there when I dropped the car off and when I picked it up. He was so kind and calm which made me feel so good. When I left I felt like the car was better than before. Just got my Audi Q5 back today from MAG...9 months after dropping it off at Gerber. Fixing all the things Gerber did to it ,in total $7600 in additional damages. Took it in to Gerber for a fender bender ( estimate $4000) May 2022. Not only should Gerber be out if business, pretty sure half of them ( claim estimators specifically) should be in jail. When I did something stupid driving a couple weeks ago I excepted to have many headaches, hassles, and at least one neurotic fit of ranting over the phone--for that is usually the case with me having to deal with the multi-bureaucracies of insurance, agents, law, rentals,and bodyshop. But unexpectedly, everything went very smoothly and seamlessly by all parties. As for their part in fixing mess, Gerber did a highly quality and professional job. I couldn't be more pleased. From their on-line appointment app, to time of pick-up, Gerber makes it easy as possible. Their front staff is professional and curious. Their phone etiquette is superb in an industry that often is lacking in that skill. Their technicians did a wonderful job, the front of my car shows no signs of the trauma I put it through. They did their due diligence and check everything; they even call me and ask if my seatbelt light was malfunctioning before the accident (It was.) I noticed no problems driving afterwards. They even checked the alignment as I figured it would be out of whack, it wasn't. They even cleaned the inside of my car--it almost had a new smell again. The only thing to be aware of is that this is the Dublin location, but they also have a location on Dublin Road (33) in Grandview--that almost became a confusion--so be careful when coordinating with the different parties and be sure you are talking about the same shop. No offense Gerber, I hope I don't have to deal with a bodyshop again; but if I do, I'm certainly will deal with you. Nice job! read more

I haven't dropped off my vehicle yet and I already have had a bad experience. From the moment I called to make the appointment, they did not have space until after one month I called. Well, I put the appointment in the calendar and waited. The day of the appointment arrived and since their lobby is closed because of COVID customers have to call when they get there. When I called and told them about my appointment, the lady who answered the phone, said she couldn't find the appointment and they couldn't take me that day because they were completely booked. I had to rescheduled, but she did not book me for the next day, but a week after! This was so frustrating because I had to make arrangements and cancel important stuff that day, but of course they don't care. We'll see next week when I try to check in again. I was rear-ended and the person who hit me's insurance company sent me to Gerber. I already had an estimate from another company. The Gerber estimate was lower, which blew my mind. The person at Gerber explained that both companies were doing the same work, but that the other company had "padded" their estimate and that is why their estimate was higher. The person at Gerber also recommended that I NOT repair my car. He said the damage was cosmetic and no one would even notice it if I went to sell my car. I was floored. He said they were more than happy to do the work if I wanted them to. I ultimately decided to not repair my car. I greatly appreciated the person at Gerber's honestly, integrity, expertise and knowledge. He was absolutely terrific and I was happy I could put my trust in him. read more

Hopefully, this is the correct gerber since there are 3 in the area, but this one is the closest so I assume this is where the mobile repair van that replaced my window is based from. I used the online quote and appointment that said I was scheduled, however, they were supposed to call. No call. I had to call the main number to talk with someone that said using the online system doesn't mean you are scheduled even though it replies back to your email with your appointment... very strange. Anyway, she put it in as a rush order since I was waiting on the repair. A few hours later, I received a call that the tech was on his way. The window was replaced. Looks fine. The price was $100 cheaper then I would have paid with safelite, however, I was disappointed that he didn't vacuum up all the glass. The ground was still covered and sweeping it up was a major pain. I would use again, however, would suggest that if you use the online appointment, be sure to follow up with a phone call. read more

Something funny is happening here. I did an online estimate a few days ago, with an expectation of a follow up to confirm. I followed up on the phone with the Dublin branch. The person on the phone was very evasive about the online estimate, almost like it was a different company and said I did not need a follow up which was fine at the time. She asked for some follow up documentation (insurance, etc.), I provided. I got a voice mail today, couple of days later, saying "sorry, we are booked out 3 months and can't take you car." Something not on the up and up here. If I had to guess (???), it feels like they are pretty adept at finding largest flexibile insurance claims possible to fit in and if you're not lining up with that, you get the "we're booked out 3 months" message.... Not being expert, all I can do is provide a simple review of my not so nice experience. In their defense, they are in a great location for such a method of operation. read more

I came to the body shop because I was hit by a piece of flying tire on the freeway. There is a gap between the bumper and left side panel. Since both my family and friend recommended this body shop to me, I decide to come for an evaluation. Gerber gave me the free evaluation the same day I made the phone call. Drew was the one helped me. He took a through look around my car and answered all my questions. With a push to the right spot in the bumper, he closed the gap concerns me. Then he explained to me the cost and benefit of changing my slightly cracked bumper. When I decide to not do anything on my car, he totally agreed with my decision and did not charge me anything. The whole process is really free. I have to say the whole experience with Gerber and Drew can not be better. I know where to go in the future if I need any body work. read more

After multiple phone calls and conversations with the GM regarding changing my review here on Yelp, I have decided to UPDATE my review and not replace because what has been described below still happened and I think that is important to know if someone is looking for an honest review. After we attempted to pick up the vehicle, as described below, I spoke to the manager and he vowed to make everything right. We came to an understanding on re-working the repairs and they even offered to repair a large door ding that needed reprinting, free of charge. This satisfied us and the final repairs were much closer to the pre-accident appearance. The self admitted "Friday Afternoon work and not Monday morning work" was disappointing, but the corrections made were welcomed. It is unfortunate that process of making something up to us had to even happen. In the end, I was pleased with the final repairs, but would be cautious recommending the repair facility biased on our overall experience. read more

This company was suggested by my insurance company, due to the fact that they guarantee the service for the life of the car (how long I own it). While it was a little out of my way, it was well worth it. The team was helpful, got me in and out, and were overall great. While some text updates were superfluous ("Your car is happy with us!") it was nice to get them. My repair was done and ready for pickup about 12 hours before the quoted time which was nice as well. The repair itself is great. I had some front end damage, and the car now looks good as new. read more

I took my car to Gerber on Shier Rings after someone hit my car. My friend had been in an accident a few months prior and highly recommended this location. I could not be more pleased with how wonderful my car turned out. There was one minor issue that was a result of communication breakdown but when I brought it to their attention, the manager, Harrison was quick to resolve it and went out of his way to make me feel reassured and that my concerns were addressed. All of the staff I worked with were friendly, professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful. If I needed anything in the future I would return here and recommend this location to others. Great first time experience yesterday with Dan, the store manager at Gerber on Rt 33 in Grandview. I took my Acura in for Dan to look at a dent caused by a car that backed into my right wheel well, causing the passenger door to stick when opening. Dan looked it over and asked if I had five minutes for him to fix it on the spot. In less time than that, he used a tool designed to remove such dents and fixed the problem. No charge. Now that's what I call great customer service. I hope I don't need glass or auto body repair any time soon but if I do, you probably can guess where I'll be taking my vehicle. I took my older MB convertible to Gerber to repair a relatively minor rear end collision. I was told that they were busy and my place in the queue was in a couple of weeks. Took it in on a rainy day and was told that it would take 5 days to complete repairs and let the paint dry... 1st problem the right taillight was ordered and the left tail light arrived - several more days waiting. 2d problem was that the date slipped again after the correct part was found due to some undescribed "issues" in the shop. 3rd. problem I was told the car was ready and went to pick it up on a rainy Friday afternoon - numerous missed spots, numerous scratches, trunk did not close and it was raining heavily so I did not perform a thorough inspection. I learned later that the CD changer in the trunk was not working (specifically listed on the work order) and the person who was there just used touchup paint to "repair" the paint flaws and used a wrench to adjust the trunk alignment. I was so disgusted that I would not bother with any other dealings with this shop. I had used them 3 times prioir to the Gerber takeover and was satisfied with the results - I will never use them again. Would not recommend this shop and will not have dealings with them again. very disappointed read more

I'll start by saying that my car is now working fine and put back together after an accident that tore up the front of the car. However, it was a long process and I was not kept in the loop. When I brought it in I was never given an estimate for how long it might take. I was told I would get text updates Tuesdays and Thursdays and for the first week and a half I did. After that, no text updates all week for the second week. I called on a Friday and asked for an update on my car and was told the paint needed to dry and it would get put back together Monday and I would receive a call. I never heard back so I called Tuesday afternoon and was told it hadn't been put together and would certainly be done by Wednesday. I never heard back on Wednesday. I got a text on Thursday saying my car was at the Honda dealership for a scan. When I called and asked about it, I spoke to Jessica and was told it was on its way back and it just needed to be washed and for one more quality control check and they would call me back. Jessica called back and she was very kind and apologetic on the phone letting me know that now my A/C now wasn't working correctly. She said that someone offered to come in early on Friday morning to fix it and I appreciate that he did that. Overall, I did not appreciate not hearing from them (and I mentioned this each time I called, Jessica was the only one to call me back with an update when I asked for one) and I did not appreciate how long it took. I understand that there was some "additional damage" under the hood and they had to wait on my insurance company at the beginning. After that I was never kept appraised as to what was happening to my car and that's not okay especially when they had my car for 23 days. read more
