The staff was so kind and professional ( we used their services before) ONe of the staff looked at the bump, Gor a tool and repaired it in less than three minutes. For free!!!!!!! Repair took significantly longer than what I had been told to expect, which resulted in me having to spend a ton out of pocket on rental, as I hadn't planned on it being a long repair and didn't have rental as part of my insurance policy. I was able to get some help from family and friends to ease that financial burden, but inconvenienced them as it was difficult to get a direct answer from the shop. Customer service was poor, and I was not updated on progress, unless I called, and even then was told I would get a call back, which I did, but was often at the very end of the day. I felt terrible and like I was annoying the poor receptionist with my frequent calls. Then there is the issue of competence, which seems to be lacking. Staff there do not seem to know the difference between left and right, and ended up replacing a part on the wrong side of the vehicle, so they replaced a perfectly good part, and then were stumped when it wasn't working. This led to them setting up an appointment at the dealership, and the mechanic in the dealer showed me what had been replaced which confirmed that the wrong part had been replaced. At this point I decided Gerber was not to lay another finger on my vehicle. They denied replacing the wrong part. The dealer understandably needed authorizations to order specific parts and do certain tasks, as Gerber was footing the bill at this point. They took their sweet time with returning calls to the dealer, so by the time they got the approval it was so late in the day that nothing could be done until the morning, further extending the time needed to complete the repair. All in all, which should have been a simple 3-4 day project (replace 1 sensor and a bumper) got stretched out over 2.5 months. I was able to get my car back in between some appointments, but the money wasted on rentals and time and frustration wasted due to incompetence has led me to never trust them again. read more

After being rear ended by a company car by someone who did not want to go through his employer's insurance company, I was fairly stressed. Having been pleased with Nulook a year ago when I was hit in a parking lot, I decided to get an estimate there. Nulook was easy to work with in both situations. Last year, having a rental car available right there was so convenient. For my recent damage, Rick Butler performed my estimate, explained all of the work that they would be doing, and was easy to get in touch with when I had questions. Because the person who hit me was paying out of pocket for the work, it could have been a pain to coordinate, but Nulook made it easy. Maybe the best part - after I picked up my car, I realized that Nulook has vacuumed the floors and seats. I would highly recommend them! read more

I had an issue with my side view mirror and asked for an estimate for repair. It was originally 250 for a used part and installation. 250 wasn't bad. When it came time to repair my side view mirror only the mirror was ready and not the painted part. I was a little sad knowing I had to come in again after the visit to get the rest of the part attached. They told me they found a part that would cost me cheaper but the same quality now costing me just 195! Jamie Brothers who was helping me through this whole process also volunteered to pick up and drop my car off to attach the part since I lived by- and to clean my car since the part he gave was dusty. He picked up and dropped my car off the following day andddd had the inside of my car cleaned too! I'm very impressed with the service, I'm glad I chose this company to do it. read more

Very disappointing work. My car was in for a Extensive repair which took 4 weeks. The cosmetic body work was fine but very poor attention to detail in reassembling the car caused me to have to return 3 separate times to have problems fixed that were all a result of carelessness. Would NOT ever go back or recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs. read more

Didn't have the work done - don't have the cash now, but I had them give me a quote on repairing my driver rear fender, they were shockingly reasonable in their pricing. I've had work done in the past through insurance, so I figured I'd give it a shot paying out of pocket, and it was less than what I'd expected. Definitely coming here when I have the money. I have had my vehicle into Nu Look on Ridge Rd a couple times in the last 15 years. They have always done an excellent job. From the time I rolled in with some body damage, they treated my courteously and very professionally. Their quote was within $100 of what I had in my head. They were able to get my vehicle in the following week. The repair was very clean, the paint job was excellent. I received a call on Thursday with an update; no additional work, car was going into paint, I could pick it up Friday afternoon. With the Hertz rental right on site, dropping my car off and driving off in a rental was very quick and easy. Both times, when I dropped off and picked up, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Excellent shop. As I mentioned, I have been there before and would continue to do business with them. read more

Our insurance carrier recommended Nu-Look so we decided to give them a try after an accident with a deer. The first time we picked our car up after the "repairs," it was filthy, they put our damaged dirty tire in our trunk - which we paid a disposal fee for - getting grease all over the carpet in the trunk, the work wasn't complete, there were buff marks under the new paint, and somehow, they managed to put scratches and dents in other areas of the car that hadn't been affected by the accident with the deer. So, in good faith, we gave them another chance to fix the work. Apparently they hire people right out of tech school to save money on their overhead costs, and needless to say, the car's body work didn't improve much the second time it came back. They also missed a bent wheel, which caused some serious damage as well until another shop discovered it. Bottom line, don't use Nu-Look unless you want your car to look worse than when you bring it in for repairs. To this date, EVERYTHING that Nu-Look touched has to be re-done by another shop that clearly knows what they're doing. read more

Do not go here! I drove a half hour to get an estimate only for them to refuse. I wanted an unbiased second estimate, but since they are involved with Liberty Mutual, they refused! Unethical business practices! They are in the pockets of the insurance companies! read more
