They took the time to repair the damage and maintain the structural integrity, and when they painted it they blended it seamlessly. When another vehicle had damage to the liftgate, their work was just as stellar. Being in a particularly brutal part of the car for Minnesota conditions, there was an issue with the repair. I walked in, chatted with their Estimator and showed him the problem. Will was wonderful to deal with, and to my utter surprise they performed warranty work without any hassles. The result was like new, the workmanship was fantastic and I couldn't be happier. I wholeheartedly recommend Latuff Brothers for auto body repairs. They communicated with our neighbor's insurance company to get a quick quote/estimate. After my wife dropped off her vehicle, they took her to enterprise to pick up her rental vehicle. During the repair process, they kept us in the loop and explained everything well. When repairs were done, my wife was able to swing by to drop off the rental vehicle at their shop and drive off in her vehicle. Enterprise then came to the shop to pick up the rental vehicle. It's a leased car so I needed to get it fixed before my lease was up. La Mettry quoted me an insanely high price to get it all repaired. I told them I didn't want to go through insurance and they encouraged me to - I'm assuming they can get more money if customers go through insurance. I got a second opinion at a local place by work. I've used them in the past and they've always done a great job. The repairs will be less than half of what La Mettry was quoting. No insurance necessary. The less expensive place told me I was taken advantage of and that La Mettry is known for this. Steer clear.

My bank scheduled me for an inspection after a collision. I asked and confirmed that: 1) I would not pay anything for the inspection at time of pickup, and that 2) I would not have to repair my vehicle with the same company that completed the inspection. (I have a local mechanic I trust already.) Then I receive a form from Caliber Collision requiring (quote): AUTHORIZATION TO REPAIR. (Required field) I hereby authorize Caliber Collision to complete the necessary repairs to my vehicle. I understand that payment in full will be due upon release of the vehicle, including any supplement charges. AUTHORIZATION TO DISASSEMBLE. (Required field) I understand I may be charged for disassembly, reassembly and/or partially completed work, based on Caliber's normal hourly labor rate. POWER OF ATTORNEY. (Required field) I hereby appoint Caliber Collision and its authorized employees to be my attorney-in-fact to sign my name on any check or draft covering repairs to my vehicle and to negotiate any such check or draft. So to get inspected, you have to: 1) immediately pay for all work related to the inspection including vehicle disassembly, 2) pay to have the vehicle fully repaired on-site, and 3) grant Caliber Collision power of attorney. Since they joined the CARSTAR franchise they are dishonest and don't complete their work properly and in a timely manner. I will never go there again. My last experience was terrible. It took months to complete the work and they added new damage and problems to my car. I had two cars with hail damage at the same time. I took my other car to another local family owned shop and it was done perfectly in two days. I would avoid any franchised body shop. They just care about money and not the customer.
