So i didn't want to go there anymore.. toyota said, "lemetrys is very good." I called and was told appointments were a month out and waited for an appointment. September 2023. My family went to an appointment and got the estimate, and Matt sent an estimate off to the insurance. My insurance didn't answer, so I pushed my insurance, and they responded to Matt approving it. I heard nothing from Matt. I called to follow up. The lady told me that Matt would get back to me. Nothing. Then, I waited a month ...forgot about it... called back, trying to see what the heck.. 2 months later. No answer, no response from Matt. I was told that they would call... Waited again.. I had to chase the guy down and told the girl that answered the phone that it was ridiculous. Matt finally called me back and had mentioned via telephone that he'll go ahead with it and emailed me, out of no where he told me in email that he talked to the manager (attached) and basiclly not worth the fix. I was so upset that I called to speak to Matts manager. The manager stated that Matt probably thought it'll be better to put money in my pockets.I dont want the money. That's why it's a claim. He also mentioned that Matt's done it before upsetting customers. By not understanding, I'm assuming? I said if my repairs are not meeting dollar amount in minmum, they should have told me months ago and not say yes then say no to me 3 months later. He told me that it wasn't because the repair was "too little." He said they would fix it and order the part, and he would personally call me when part gets in.

So far it has been in the shop for a week to receive a "blueprint" for repair. We were told it will be likely another week to wait for additional insurance ok for additional cost. Also told painting is backed up and that may add time. So far we are over $2,000. I will update on how long this takes. Reminder this is a broken tail light at under 1 mph.

I had it reviewed by a different mechanic, and the Creative Auto told me to tow it to their shop to review it. The tow alone cost over $300, and once they receive it, they told me their "discount" price. Their "discount price" cost more than the full price of the mechanic that originally diagnosed it. What a joke. They won't even buy it back to help us out. We buy multiple vehicles every year for our business, and I was really hoping we had found a good spot to continue doing business. If they can't tell that a transmission is going out on a vehicle they are selling, they can't be trusted to professionally sell or service them.

But, said Shayne, he could try to make the damage less noticeable buy removing a plastic shield and popping out the dent. It looks much better now and he even refused to allow me to pay him for his time. He said a review though would be appreciated. Honest and generous service at its best.
