I meant to write a review months ago but I just came around to using the YELP app again. I had my Infiniti taken here after some kid smashed the front/side of my car causing 2k in damage. When it comes to auto places I get very nervous on who works on my cars. But sure enough I walked into this place and I'm not sure of boss lady's name but she hooked me up! Greeted me immediately even though she looked very busy (during covid I completely understand) and she walked straight out to my car, took pictures, and walked back inside and set everything up for me. She deserves a lot of credit for stopping what she was in the middle of and helping me out. As far as the body work and paint goes..it was absolutely perfect. I'm extremely happy the way it turned out and it was literally done super fast. Great quality, great customer service, great warranties. Definitely recommend. read more

I had a hit and run incident in the parking garage downtown. I took it to Gerber off of 17 in orange park and within 3 days I had a brand new bumper and the car looks great. The customer service was great and they explained everything in detail to me and what my options were. I decided not to use my insurance since the total coast was just $140.00 more after my deductible. The one thing with this place is, if you are not paying attention you will miss it. Speed, quality, price. These are three things that we experienced positively when our vehicle was repaired at Gerber. Our insurance company selected this company as their preferred, so it's no coincidence that the insurance claim went smoothly (for completeness, we have USAA insurance). I have no gripes on the charges, as we had a $0 deductible and didn't pay a dime, but reviewing the labor costs, parts costs, etc, everthing seemed fair and competitive. The lobby is very clean - they even offer free water bottles and have a Keurig coffee maker for guest use. There is ample waiting area seating, with televisions, but as our repair was a multi-day deal, we did no waiting in-house. It took them about 5 days to assess the damage, order the parts, and repair the vehicle - a pretty swift deal, I think. We were happy with the repair job as it didn't look like anything had happened. The customer service was great at the counter as well, and they made sure we were all set before we took off. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service we received. read more

horrible experience. The appointment scheduled for wrong city. I was told someone would still come out in the afternoon. However, I was called and was told the windshield at warehouse was cracked. I had to reschedule for next day. The technician showed up late and called and said that it could not change it bc it was raining. There was no rain-only clouded. read more

Their customer service is very poor. I've waited 2 weeks to have my windshield fixed and I always have trouble getting answers. First, I asked for it to be repaired since the crack was caused by a small flying object that hit my windshield while on the highway - right in the center of the windshield. The tech called and said he'd be at my driveway on Saturday between 10am-12pm. 12:11 rolled around and no phone call. I finally called back - three times before I could get an answer - and the guy said he'd be there in 10 minutes (it took about 30). When he showed up, he was very unprofessional and said that he couldn't fix my windshield because it was so cold out and the resin wouldn't dry. Why didn't anyone tell me this prior? Anyway, he said that the shop would order the replacement and I would receive a phone call during the week confirming that my appointment would be the following Saturday. I received 2 phone calls on Wednesday - one from my insurance and the other from the shop - confirming that my claim had been changed from repair to replacement. Fast forward to Saturday and I was sitting around waiting for them to call until about 11am when I finally decided to try calling them. Their number goes straight to a main line for Glass America which is in another city and state. I continually get someone new every time which is very frustrating for continuity and customer care. They said they would forward my message to the local shop who would be in touch with me in about 5 minutes. Another 30 min rolls around and I finally call back because I have errands to run (it is Saturday, after all, and I work during the week). I get yet another person who is very snarky when I told him, "I don't know if it was you I spoke to or not..." He proceeded to argue with me on the phone and kept saying, "That wasn't me, ma'am, that wasn't me." To me, this sounds as if he is trying to avoid me because it WAS the same guy - the voice was exactly the same, as was the tone. He kept telling me to call him only because he was really trying to help me and "understood" that I was frustrated. Uh, no you don't... About 5 minutes later, I get a call from one of the reps at the local shop who is very apologetic and said that my windshield was lost at the warehouse and they are only open during the week. She promised that my windshield would be replaced the following weekend and that I should call her if I have any more problems. She also added that my repair would be the FIRST job of the weekend - around 8am. On Thursday, I called to confirm that I would be taken care of on Saturday and that I would, indeed, be the first job. She looked on the computer and said, "Yes, we have your windshield scheduled as the first job and the tech will call you." Fast forward to Saturday and I called the office around 8am to get a time estimate. No one answers the phone number I received from the last rep I spoke to. I try calling the main number again and it says they are closed until 7:30am - CENTRAL standard time. Hello! We are in Florida!?!? After getting no where until 8:30am, I am getting more and more irritated and upset that I continue to get the run-around. The rep I spoke to this morning said that he can't get a hold of the tech because they are out right now picking up parts for the morning jobs and that I would receive a call between 8am-10am. About 5 minutes later, the tech calls me and says he'll be there around 11:30-12pm! I told him, "I was PROMISED that I would be the first job of the day." He tells me that he has other promised first jobs and that I'm THIRD on the list!! He tells me to wait about 2-3 minutes and he will try to find out what he should do. That was over 15 minutes ago! UPDATE: I decided to contact my insurance company and void the referral. I am taking my car over to Safelite this week, instead. After speaking to the insurance rep, the guy who I last spoke to called and left a voicemail telling me they lost my part AGAIN after he said he would be on the way (and, at that time, had the part in his van). I tried to call their shop after canceling my referral to tell them how unhappy I was with their service and they hung up on me! They must have caller ID or something because they didn't even ask who it was. Later, I get a call from a previous rep and I put him on my ignore list after rejecting the call. I am so done dealing with these incompetent people who care very little about customer service. read more

I experienced SUPERB Customer Service from the Park Avenue Gerber location! No one likes to deal with having a car accident (especially when it was the other persons fault) :O(, but Amanda made the process go so smoothly, I'm very grateful for her going the 'extra mile' to get my vehicle in for repairs--by checking on availability at another Gerber location. Because she was attentive to what was needed to lessen my stress and make the whole ordeal be as painless as possible, I was able to get into a rental asap, and off to enjoy family visiting from out of the country. All of our plans stayed on track because of her diligence and assistance! I'm grateful for her support during a time that could have been really frustrating. As this was a USAA recommended shop, I stopped in to inquire about quality of work. The staff was rude and laughed in my face. I have seen a lot of crappy body and paint work over the years and always check completed work before I take my vehicle to be repaired. I will not do business with a shop that is not proud of the work that they produce and would recommend that you use caution with this business. read more

5 star review for everyone over at Gerber. I have never had an accident before, so it was terrific to be able to trust them for everything. Debi was my first point of contact and I left my vehicle with her with complete confidence. When repair and time issues occurred, Sarah stayed on top of it, pushing all the right buttons with my insurance carrier, and securing a timely resolution to all issues. Everyone was so kind and friendly throughout the process. They are advancing to the top of my favorite people list. You should be proud of their efforts. read more

I went to Gerber after my vehicle was hit because an officer I work with had just had his vehicle repaired by them and was very satisfied. Also, I have USAA and it's one of their recommended companies. Everything went very smoothly. Gerber was very accommodating of my schedule. I dropped my vehicle off on a Monday and they said it would take until Friday but it was done the next day. They helped coordinate my vehicle rental at Enterprise. The only suggestion I have for Gerber is that they show the customer the work when they come to pick up their vehicle (rather than just giving them the keys). read more
