This place is outstanding. It provides exceptional repairs at a great price on a consistent basis. I've had my Alfa Romeo and my daughter's Hyundai repaired here several times. Each time the repair is done quickly and their prices are very affordable. My daughter's Hyundai has lasted 14 years and survived almost 200,000 miles thanks to the great service at Westfield Automotive. One time, while repairing my Alfa Romeo, they noticed an oil leak in the front of the engine. This issue was not discovered by the Alfa Romeo dealership technicians during my last warranty visit with them. The technician at the Alfa Romeo dealership was amazed by how Westfield Automotive was able to find the defect. The dealership fixed it free of charge since they missed it. My 2011 Acura MDX had a very loud engine tick which had been diagnosed by another company as a hydraulic lifter issue requiring a new engine (and charged me $150 for this 15 minute diagnosis). I left it with Westfield Automotive as a last resort before giving up all hope. Instead, Jeff and his team fixed it (timing belt) at a reasonable cost and breathed new life in it within a couple days. All of the reviews on this page are correct - Jeff and his team at Westfield Automotive do great, fast work and are lovely to work with... UNTIL THEY MAKE A MISTAKE. I cannot deter you enough from bringing your car to this business. I just spent half a year dealing with the mess that they caused me after I brought in my car for what should have been a few simple repairs. What's worst? I had been bringing my cars to Westfield Automotive for years and knew Jeff well. But apparently my luck with them ran out, because Jeff turned out to be one of the most dubious business owners I have ever met. After one of his mechanics installed a part wrong, which caused the engine of my car to be completely destroyed, Jeff did not take responsibility for any of it. He didn't offer to pay me back for the faulty repair, let alone amend the further damage his mechanic had caused. I had to take them to small claims court to try and get my money back. Jeff came armed with an attorney, which makes me think this isn't the first time he has done this to a customer. It's hard for me to write such a scathing review of a local business, especially one that I had trusted before this debacle. But I've worked with larger companies that had so much more heart than Jeff did in dealing with this situation. I'm telling you - take your car to a business that will take responsibility for their mistakes instead of taking thousands from you and leaving you with a hunk of junk. read more

The woman at the front desk ruined it for me. This was the first time visiting this shop and was hopeful based upon the reviews. The front desk was rude and made me feel as if I was nothing more than an annoyance to her. Needless to say they did not get my business nor will I be referring this shop. She is the face of your business guys! You can do great work all day long, but she will be the demise of new business. I then had my car looked at somewhere else and found that multiple things were either broken or needing replaced. Have been taking our cars into Westfield Automotive for over 20 years. Won't go anywhere else. Have always felt that the service is great. Jeff, does a great job. The couple times we have had to go back he even indicated there was a potential. He was right and made it right. It was either a or b so let him know. He took care of it. Timely repair, bad customer service... Took my car in for some new spark plugs, coolant flush, oil and filter change along with a full inspection. I will say that these guys had my car done the same day and I felt like the price was fair and reasonable. With the full inspection the only thing they tried to say I needed was new pads and rotors on the back of my car. I told them I would get that done in a couple of weeks but for now just the other things I mentioned. The next morning when I got in my car I noticed that one of my new HID headlights was not working. Just bought them when I had my last oil change. I called Westfield Automotive to let them know that I thought maybe while they spent several hours under my hood maybe the light bulb was knocked loose or something and asked if I could bring it by before work so they could take a look at it real quick. I was briefly put on hold and when the receptionist got back on she told me that light bulbs go out and that there was nothing they could do about it. I know that it was working when I dropped the car off and in fact the scheduled maintenance sheet that I gave them had check all lights marked on it. They obviously seen they were all working as well. It's too bad they weren't even willing to have me bring the car back in so they could check it out for me. After all, I just spent over $700 there yesterday. I was hoping to find a reputable auto repair shop here in Westfield since we just moved here about a year ago. They go above and beyond! I'm a regular customer (oil changes, routine maintenance) and I've always had a good experience but yesterday they truly showed what sets them apart from the rest. On my way to work, my low oil pressure warning came up on the dash of my Highlander and I discovered that I had a substantial oil leak (literally leaving a path on the street wherever I drove). I had just pulled into the parking lot at my work so I stopped my car immediately. I called Westfield Auto and two of their mechanics came over to help. They filled it with enough oil to get it to their shop (it's pretty close by) and one drove while the other one followed. Their mechanic, Derek, called me in less than an hour with the prognosis. It turned out to be a leak in the oil cooler line. Then he informed me that he found out that the repair would be fully covered by Toyota at the dealership (due to a warranty extension on that issue) and he had already called ahead to the closest dealership to confirm. All I had to pay for was towing to get it there (which was partially covered by my insurance). It's pretty rare these days to find this kind of honesty and level of service. The mechanics do excellent work, but the lady at the front desk is the worst. I always make an appointment and she's always surprised to see me. I scheduled an appointment with her to drop my car off on a Wednesday night so it could be worked on on Thursday. Not only did she have no idea I was coming, but she also told me they don't have a ride service in the evening. That would have been useful to know when I booked the appointment. read more
