Watch for the hidden credit card service charge
Todd P.

While the pizza was fine, they sneakily add a 3.7% service charge on to our bill if you pay on a credit card. When we noticed noticed that the charge amount didn't match our bill, the woman pointed to a very small sign on the wall. This kind of hidden charge is enough for us to never return. Either let us know up front that you have a credit card surcharge or don't have one at all.

Baked mostaccioli and a chef salad

I purchased a dinner to go . a baked mostaccioli with Italian sausage and a chef salad . The pasta sauce tasted good. Service was reasonable but I received no receipt or kind greeting . (It was busy dinner time) still So kinda feeling I was over charged. Almost $32 . The menu I saw was cheaper.Prices have gone up Maybe the price changed. Customers were happy, property looked clean. A fare human being may give them a second chance. The business has a responsibility . As a paying customer I didn't feel comfortable eating the food. Maybe next time.

Margaretha was delicious

The best pizza! It's been a while since I've had such a good pizza great crust and flavor

Garlic Bread

Gerry's pizza was nice and inviting with Halloween decorations. The Alfredo chicken and broccoli pizza is amazing! Plus we got the yummy cheese garlic bread. They had the football games on too. When we are in town again we'll definitely go back. Our witness was good. She made sure our drinks were full and we had everything to enjoy our meal.

My fiancée and I were staying at the Red Roof Inn for the weekend and found ourselves craving some pizza. We got a cheese pizza from this place and it was pretty good- so good I had it for the next few days for leftovers. We will definitely be back to eat! Pizza was great.

5-star "Rockford" pizza. Doesn't hold a chance against Chicago staples Pizano's or Pequod's (and Lino's trumps Gerry's errday); But if you're stuck in I-90 [hotels] corridor this is the absolute MUST for late night eats -- at least it was some 6 years ago when I was there. Their sauce is adequate, but the crust and cheese (and perfect amount of greasy) make up for any shortcomings in marinara [maybe just more oily than fruity] imo. recommend: MEDIUM, Thin - Sausage and Cheese w mushrooms.

I love their crust and the sauce too.

Gerrys has been here forever. And I've been here all my life and never went. I am very happy I did! The pizza was so good, I loved the crust, it was light and buttery, not the normal heavy crust. Good drink selection. The inside is an old-school Italian restaurant, which I actually like a lot. And it is huge in there too! It adds character to the restaurant. I feel bad I never came here before. But I will be back to try more. We had a great waitress too!

Great pizza with 100% real cheese, great service, does have a service charge for credit card use.

I got the meatza and had em add the hot giardiniera and it made an awesome pizza even better

Gerry's was within walking distance, therefore I went a few times. This place rocks, the service is Great and the food is even better. Solid Itailan dishes from mostaccholi, Italian beef, and the pizza. The pizza blew me away. The spicy Italian Beef pizza has Hot Giardiniera all over it and it was my favorite until I ordered the Meatza with the giardiniera. That was one of the very best pizzas I have ever had. They have a lot of specialty pizzas, the Margherita tasted fresh, the basil, cheese and tomato all had a great flavor. I'm not sure which pizza I'd get the next time. So much good food. The ladies that greeted and or served us were very helpful and always on point. There are a lot of franchise pizza place around Rockford, I wouldn't mess with them. I would go to Gerry's again and again.

can this place get any better? YES! Pizza, lasagna and fish all incredible! They have the secret sauce and hospitality dialed in!!

Best pizza in Rockford. Closest tasting pizza to what you would find in the Chicago Suburbs.

A Hidden Gem!! Family friendly, relaxed, and unique. The Waitstaff is very accommodating, lots of pasta choices and pizza is always great.

We tried it a few weeks ago for the first time and my husband and son swear that this is the best pizza in town!! We went back again last night and had the same results! First time I had the Italian beef and it was flavorful and juicy but the bread... it was crusty and flaky on the outside and fluffy yet dense on the inside. The absolute perfect bread for a juicy sandwich. We also had the lasagna(which I believe is only available on the weekends) and it was fantastic as well. His Grandma's sauce is splendid('Mamma Gulotta's' sold at Woodman's). To top it all off, Nick Gulotta; the owner, chef, order taker, carry out worker(he does it all himself!!!), is just about the nicest person I have ever met. I know some very kind/caring people, but Nick takes the cake. I just can't believe how long it's taken us to try it but am so glad we finally did! Thank you, Nick!! We will keep on coming back as long as you're willing to make us pizza!!

Standing there was a silhouette of a man. We were wondering if they were open since we did not call ahead, but the hours stated open until Ten. To our surprise, the front door was locked, but then the gentleman of Zah Heaven opens the door and said how may I help you. Even though he started to call it quits after an unbelievably long day and evening at work, he open the door, turned on the lights, took our order and is making our pizza! This alone is a FIVE-STAR review!

We got our own little room that was just big enough for our booth for 5. Complimentary Bread was delicious Special salad that came with the meals was good- the little pieces of Italian sausage & slices of egg made it better. I had 1/2 lasagna & 1/2 mostaccioli- lasagna was large & delicious. Mostaccioli was just cheap pasta with red sauce dumped on it. Wife had a nice steak w/ a side of fettuccine Alfredo instead of potato that looked very good. Son had just lasagna & his full large portion was enormous but he ate it all. Another son had a fish dinner w side of Alfredo. The last son just ordered the fettuccine Alfredo & added 2 meatballs that weirdly came in a red sauce, he didn't care just dumped it right on top of his Alfredo. A nice touch was-Everybody gets a scoops of ice cream after dinner, they had 5-6 choices. Everything was good-very good I'd recommend the lasagna or fettuccine Alfredo definitely the salad & bread. Negatives would be the only phone reservations & the price is high for just noodles & sauce. Bill was $160 for 5 dinners & 3 lemonades. So after tip around $200
