Had arranged appointment with service manager to discuss delaminated rear wall on my Sonic Venture…read more After waiting 20 minutes it was clear he did not want to discuss issue. Fortunately Dean an experienced techie was nearby having just helped another customer (who was attended to in 5 minutes). He referred to the wall as a hanging skin and this model has had this issue many times. Asked about a cost of repair he said 20 hours at $185/hour! So to repair what was clearly a defect, big bucks! And not covered by my 3 year expensive maintenance insurance. Lesson: Don't buy Venture Sonic and stay clear of Woody's service department.

We attempted to buy our trailer from Woody's in August of 2024. After viewing…read more several units and working with the finance and sales departments, we settled on a "park unit". The salesman sold us on it, told us it would be built for us as soon as they received our deposit. The finance lady took our deposit and told us the trailer would be ready in 6-8 weeks. We waited the 8 weeks and didn't hear from them at all. When we called our salesman, he didn't know when the trailer might be delivered. We went in to talk to the manager, Chase. He explained that the factory had not even started the build yet, but that as soon as it started up ours would be the first to be built. We were understandably upset, having just waited 8 weeks and now being told it wasn't even started yet. His response was to get angry at us and say "I don't have to sell you this trailer." That was his solution. He made no attempt to placate us or try to save the deal. However, because we live in our RV full time, and had already made arrangements to sell our current trailer, we needed to save the deal, so we ended up placating Chase and he finally agreed to continue with the sale and to comp the installation of the washer/dryer if we purchased the machines. He gave us a completion date of Nov 26, with one week to transport from the factory to the dealership and one week to do the PDI. By December 11 we still had not heard from the dealership. I called Chase to find out what was going on. He said it was being transported, it had left the factory over a week before, but he had no idea where it was. When I questioned how that was possible, he made a snarky comment about not having Apple airtags in the drivers and said again that he "didn't have to sell us this trailer". After two days of contemplating his attitude and poor customer service, we decided to take our business elsewhere. When I called to tell Chase he was correct, he did not have to sell to us, and moreover, we didn't have to buy from him, his response was "Good, because the trailer just showed up today and the front windows are broken, so your not going to be happy about that either." I called head office in Calgary to complain about his treatment of us and found out he is the owners son. And no one ever bothered to call me back. We bought our new trailer from Western RV and had an amazing experience.

What i wasn't expecting was to come across a service department and manager completely unwilling to repair the lemon they sold me. My camper left the lot with likely unknown, but certainly undisclosed issues prior to being signed over to me which should have been rectified immediately. Instead, I was told over and over it was my problem and my expense. In order to bring the unit to the quality represented in the sale, I must fork out what could be quite a few thousand dollars in deducing the source of all the issues and repairing improperly installed components. That is not acceptable because I would not have entered into this agreement had i been aware of these issues or had i known that the dealership would not honour the contract of selling a unit in perfect condition. The stress of BCRV's blame game is too much and if your experience is like mine, they will tell you to pay to fix your brand new unit yourself because warranty which covers bumper to bumper top to bottom for the first year is useless. Future customers, it is really important to buy from a dealership that will honour your contract and make an effort to make good. This has been the worst experience purchasing I have had to date and I can tell you from experience, this is rare. Other dealerships for the most part will bend over backwards to rectify faults that slipped through the cracks.

I've done a lot of research online, but you never really know how a space is going to feel until you can walk inside it, open the drawers, and kick the tires (literally and figuratively). I'll admit I was a little hesitant upon entering, worried about pushy salespeople who wouldn't want to help me in this first, educational stage of my journey toward buying my own RV. I couldn't have been more wrong! My salesman, Trevor, understood my needs and accommodated them perfectly. He showed me some Class B's, then a couple of Class C's, and finally some travel trailers. He discussed the pros and cons of each, what you get for your money, etc. RV Country's lot is HUGE, and full of everything from the tiniest of teardrop trailers to gigantic Fifth Wheels and Class A's that are larger than my apartment! Trevor escorted my friend and I around on a snappy little golf cart, never hesitating to stop when we wanted to take a look at something. After our tour, he gave me some brochures and we traded names/numbers. When the time comes - hopefully by this summer - to buy my RV, I will definitely return to Paul Evert's and ask for Trevor!

We had issues getting our license plates, multiple phone calls and no effect by this office to help, just passed the buck to the Fife, WA office. Then we had a motor go out on the slide on our four month old RV while camping. It was stuck out and we couldn't retract it. They were unable to provide mobile service nor were the RV tech they suggested. We contacted Blade RV, they sent someone to help us at the campground. RV country told us they could fix the broken motor issue in FIVE MONTHS, Blade RV will see us within a week. I love the RV we bought, Grand Design has been great to work with, they will reimburse me for the repairs. But RV Country Service in Mt Vernon completely and total sucks!
