We ordered the buffalo grilled chicken wrap, pulled pork burrito and carrot cake. The buffalo chicken Caesar wrap was delicious; perfect spicy Caesar mix and perfect chicken to lettuce ratio. The croutons were so tasty. I'm really impressed by this wrap and for $13, a steal. The pulled pork burrito was also very tasty. We wished the wrap and burrito came with a side but you can add on a side for an additional cost. I LOVE the carrot cake from here. It's the perfect dessert. Not too carroty and not too heavy. The new JC location's menu is not as extensive as the Hoboken menu but there's still a decent amount to choose from. I'm hoping they add more items as time goes one! An Uber Eats listing that says "Asian Fusion" and "Soul Food" could provoke my Quasi-Ethnic Cuisine Aggregator allergies, but I figured that a place with a "Stinky Bulb" section of garlic offerings was probably worth trying. The jerk wings, not identical to what you'd find in Flatbush, are a smashing success on their terms. You may want a spoon to lap up the remaining sauce if no one's looking. This was accompanied by a decent amount of celery sticks, and if your reply is "so what, Shoprite has celery," my point is that the smoked bleu cheese dip is great too. I was initially impressed by the menu variety and consistent positive reviews. All this to say, this place didn't disappoint. The jerk wings had the perfect amount of spice. Would order this again. I think the cauliflower hash browns paired with the chipotle aioli dip were good, but a tad too greasy. I think less oil and a little more crunch would bring this to another level. I also got the Bahn YU with glazed tofu. It's super yummy with the pickled veggies and mayo. Unfortunately the GTK hot noodles were too spicy to finish. It was difficult to taste the ingredients. The pulled pork burrito was very flavorful and filling. It came with dipping sauce, but the burrito didn't need it. My partner ordered the GTK coconut curry. I ate some as well. We really enjoyed it. I loved the variety of flavors in the island bowl with jerk tofu. The tofu and vegetables were well seasoned and the turmeric coconut rice provided a refreshing balance to the overall meal. I would also recommend the GTK crumb cake. Not as moist as the carrot cake, but still good. The carrot cake was so moist and delicious I had to pause to truly savor what I was eating. I'm still daydreaming about this moment. The gobbler bowl has been our favorite item on the menu lately. The turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, and cranberry chutney with gravy combo can't be beat. If you've made it this far, I'm probably ordering from this place now. This place is normally the best! However, I was really disappointed with my last order. We had three orders of wings and a cup of soup. I will start by saying the soup was fantastic. The wings however were a disappointment this time. We have ordered the wings dozens of times from this place, and they were fantastic. They really dropped the ball this time. I love Ghost Truck Kitchen! The food is always fresh and you can tell they purchase only quality ingredients. Delivery never disappoints and the food always arrives quickly and correct (which is huge!). The restaurant always calls to ask any specific questions to ensure they take the time and care to get my order correct, which is something I really appreciate. The rice was flavorful, a bit on the sweeter side, which I actually did not mind. The portion itself is generous. I also ordered the mash potatoes and added on some gravy after seeing the reviews on it. It's absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend, makes me want to try the gobbler bowl. I've had GTK on my must-try list for a few years now and I'm sooo glad I picked up food this past weekend. No joke, the wings are some of the best I've had in the area. They're grilled, they taste fresh like they weren't frozen beforehand, and the sauce was super sweet and spicy which I loved. I ate the tofu banh mi sandwich as a non vegetarian person and really enjoyed it. There's a lot of pickled veggies on it, the bread was soft enough, and the tofu was well seasoned. This is one restaurant that NEVER fails to get your order right! I had a few issues with delivery (they outsource their delivery service) and the owner emailed me personally to correct the issue. Amazing customer service. Since the weather is nicer now I've switched to pick up and the employees in the restaurant are super friendly and welcoming. We were craving dessert one night and decided to go with this place from Uber Eats. We got the Brookie Bars and two pints of ice cream, the Trash Can and the Cookie Dough Scratch delivered to our place. On their own, the Brookie Bars were a bit dried out, but when eaten together with the ice cream, it's an amazing combination. They had a nice chew and the caramel sauce that came with them was also excellent. The ice cream is high quality and has generous mix-ins.
