A group of us were in the neighborhood and we decided to give this place a try. The ambiance was very PINK lol. The food was decent as well and the menu was affordable. The burgers range from $11 - $16. The service was quick and efficient too. On this visit, we caught happy hour and the options were good. I had the sliders and mango habanero wings (4pcs). Omg those wings were SPICY! If you can handle the heat, definitely give them a try. I've had this place on my list of "try outs" for a while, so while I was in there I decided to ask about the history/name of the place. I was told that this particular place used to have a "ghost restaurant" inside until the owner bought out the entire place - hence the name.
We went here on a Saturday night, but the place was relatively empty. Its seat yourself and order at your table using a QR code. Super simple menu, but the ghost in ghost burger is about spice not being spooky. Everything has some type of pepper involved, so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't recommend eating here. The burgers were fine, but nothing to write home about. The buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty basic and messy. We got chicken tenders which were just fine as well. Their fries have chili seasoning on them, which again was just meh. The cheese sauce wasn't very tasty at all. I also ordered a margarita which was also very meh, it needed a lime or something. What was great were the milkshakes. They were nice and thick and delicious. Overall, it was expensive, even for DC standards for what you're getting.
I came here for lunch. This is a very trendy spot. There is metered street parking within walking distance. The restaurant has a decent sized dining area and a very nice enclosed patio area. It has a hip and trendy vibe, with a neon sign behind the bar. It was also very clean. You can either order food at the counter or order food at your table using a QR code. They obviously serve burgers, but they also have sandwiches, hotdogs, milkshakes, and salads. They also have booze. Even though my interaction with them was limited. The staff was friendly enough. I came in on a busy Saturday afternoon and was able to find a table right away. I ordered and payed for my meal using the QR code. I will say, please remember to use the text message link they send you to close out your tab. Otherwise it will stay open. I ordered a Ghostburger with a side of Ghost Fries. It took about 8 minutes or so for me to get my food. My first impression of my burger was that it was small. However, it was very good. The fries were good too, but a little crispier than I like. I was mfull by the time that I left the restaurant. All-in-all, I really enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend checking this place out and will definitely eat here again.
Just the day before I was speaking with a coworker about the best burgers. He touted Au Cheval in Chicago. I advocated for the Hush Burger available at Hush and Fire at Will, sister restaurants in Scottsdale, AZ. The night before I had a massive steak dinner at a classic steakhouse. I shouldn't have done beef again but I needed food relatively quick and I'd heard high praise for Ghostburger. I went there and while there were several interesting options I chose to go for the straightforward Ghostburger, fries and iced tea. I seated myself with my number card on the table. Tea and water were delivered and it was long until I got the burger and fries. The burger was smaller than expected while the fries could have fed two or more easily. The fries had some chili salt that was really welcome but not quite enough as you moved deeper in the pile. Look. I wouldn't mention those other burgers. But the Ghostburger was delicious. Only the smaller size worked against. It was a nearly perfect burger. The Hush Burger was larger and a bit more pretentious.(Their fries were great shoestrings with housemade ketchup, aioli and iirc ranch). The Ghostburger was just the right mix of proper quality toppings, if imperfect in the quantity measure. Again, a little larger overall burger and a better frie than the crinkles and you get THE winning entry. Maybe they could just offer that larger size. [Edit: You can order a second patty if you like, but I think it would unbalance the burger. There just needs to be a burger closer to a Quarter Pounder sized option] As it stands the Fire at Will Hush burger and fries is still #1. Ghostburger takes #2 but also costs much less and has multiple locations in the DC area. Excellent. I'd definitely go back. 4.8 = 5.
This place is one of the options you have for meals if you're visiting the Walter E. Convention Center. It was actually on my way to the parking garage, so I decided to try it. I wasn't too hungry, but the good reviews about the shakes persuaded my legs in the direction of its entrance. I quite like the decorations. The pink walls pop. The black and white tiles give a vintage vibe. The cement counters, neon logo, and subtle light balls all worked well together for me. The staff was friendly too. However, I'm afraid the shakes and sliders were mediocre. The sliders tasted okay, but it felt like I was served a microwavable one. The shake was too sweet for me. It's an average American shake. The reviews deceived me. I probably won't be back unless it's for happy hour drinks and to talk.

I didn't not ask any questions about cross contamination. My boyfriend for the regular Ghostburger and liked it as well. We ordered wings and also had a side of fries. I would go back and order again.
We ordered our meal to-go and it was such an easy process to order and pick-up. The food was delicious! The burgers just tasted like they were made with love and has a great flavor profile. One of my favorite things was the fresh fresh and crisp pickled cucumber!! We also ordered fries (but without the spice seasoning as it was for our toddler) and the fries were even delicious! So if you are looking for a burger spot, this is a place to checkout!
Might have had this place delivered once before and don't recall it being super memorable. Tried again recently and it was alright. We ordered a hot dog to give it a try and I actually enjoyed it more than the burger. Didn't order any sides, but maybe next time will try one of the sides and a cheesesteak instead.
First time here: a Dirty floors and windows when entering. Bathrooms not very clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. Burgers were okay but very small. Burger of the month: Cherry blossom smash doesn't work. Cool attempt but ramen clock instead of bread not good. Fries were average; Fried pickles came with 4 tiny spears and were complete garbage. Wings horrible like they were boiled. The drink : poco pacante was excellent ! The bartender star of the show there. The food quality below par in every aspect. Will not return !

Hey friends! This spot is a great happy hour option that's close to the Walter E Convention center & Ronald Reagan building. I ordered a Love Drunk Punch, cheeseburger sliders and a side of fries. The fries weren't on happy hour but still cheap. I enjoyed the cocktail, it was strong! The sliders were okay. I love the fries, frozen fresh but still delicious. -Customer service was friendly. -Parking was rough but it's DC lol -Happy hour prices were really nice. $10 cocktails and $6 cheeseburgers -There was a weird damp smell inside, similar to dirty mop water. One of the best places to get a bite if you're bar hopping in Shaw. I was there when they were doing almost across the board $10 burgers, so not a bad deal. There's always been plenty of seating when I've been there or walked by. There's a nice variety of burgers on the menu. On my two visits, I got the Honey Chicken Sammy and Charlie Burger. On the chicken sandwich, the chicken is crispy on the outside and surprisingly really moist on the inside. The cucumber was a nice contrast from the regular pickle in other chicken sandwiches. The chicken itself though, is not as big as other places like Roaming Rooster. With the Charlie, the pimento cheese really stands out, then the fried pickles. An interesting combination in a burger that I think works. Fast and nice service from the staff. Very clean dining room too. read more

The happy hour here is no joke, folks. $8 cocktails and the burgers are only $12 to start. I got the one on focaccia and it was solid. A bit tough to eat cleanly but it was delicious. Even after HH the beers are a great price. Really easy to order on your phone at the tables as well and they just bring the food out to you. read more

Ended up here because other area restaurants had at least an hour wait for a table. We walked in and stood at the counter where it says "order here" before we were told we could sit at the table and order using the QR code. We grabbed a table and were immediately serve a large glass bottle of ice water. Once the order was placed (super easy using the QR code) and easy to add on or customize a burger, side and sauce, drinks were delivered quickly. Server were attentive and replenished the water bottle multiple times. I had the monthly special Hawaiian Hunter burger (without pickles) and it was so good! The onion rings were cooked well, but their crunchy batter scratched up the roof of my mouth. Would probably order the fries in the future. Love the Pac-Manesque ghost logo. Lots of space, no waiting and great service! read more
Carry out was easy peasy at this corner spot in Shaw neighborhood, but there are plenty of seats for a weekday evening. The Romesco burger with subbed chicken was delicious, but the bun struggled to keep all of that goodness together read more

I ordered the chicken Sammy via DoorDash and one bite into the sandwich, I notice it is chewy and nearly raw. I called the establishment to let them know what happened and was told it was pink due to the brine. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never be back read more
What a great experience I can in with my family at about 11pm on a saturday and they were so willing to serve us. We have the BYOB and it was so amazing we couldn't even get a picture the mayahuel and poco picante and they were both to die for omg. They were both basically plays on margaritas just one spicier than the other but both ultimately delicious. Everyone in the room environment around us seem very happy. The fries were perfect especially the Philly fries. Please make sure you ask for Andrea and Estrella they are the best bartenders I have had in a very long time. The drinks were stronggg but tasted sooo good ! They were amazing thanfully service was so quick ! read more
Came here for dinner with a friend on a weekday, and it was super empty. There's a huge outdoor patio space with lots of seating, so would recommend sitting outside on a nice day. Happy hour ends at 7pm, and is a good deal ($8 cocktails). I ordered a Mayahuel to drink, a Ghostburger, and Ghost Fries. The drink and burger were good (soft patty, juicy bun), and the crinkle fries were standout. With tax and tip, though, my meal came out to over $30, which is definitely overpriced for the small portion sizes. (I'm also opposed in principle to burger joints that don't automatically include fries with their burgers!) Overall: a solid place for dinner with good food and drinks, but expect to pay a bit too much for what you get! read more
This spot got some damn good burgers!! From the walk in you see the ambiance they were going for... I was in love with all of the options the menu contained and was hyped about the drinks.. I was able to get a few drinks that tasted just as it sounds. The burger I got was the ghost burger. It was great and juicy! That's a plus a lot of places don't make good smash burgers. read more
The burger was very tasty, well made and with the right amount of toppings. My only recommendation would be a side of bbq sauce or a homemade sauce as an addition to the bbq burger. Service was decent, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. They have really good cocktails as well, very reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out! read more

We had mixed reviews going in there. And tonight we chose to order online and have it delivered now it wasn't their fault that it came cold however, when we bit into it as you can see there was this huge piece of plastic folded up inside of it like what is this we opened it up and it was a huge terrible piece of plastic. We had to throw it out. We tried calling the store And they didn't answer. We tried calling again. They didn't answer so we're posting this review. read more
Definitely a solid 3.5 star spot but I'll round up to 4 stars. You order by QR code and everything is brought to you. They have a nice covered patio which is where we sat. It was dead on a Friday night and the food came pretty quickly. I ordered their burger of the month with a side of fries. Including the mandatory service charge and tax my total was $21. As others have noted it's very expensive for what it is, especially since my $12 single patty burger didn't come with fries. I enjoyed it here but won't quickly be returning. Water was refilled quickly and plates removed when finished. read more

Service- you can order from counter or QR code on table. There is plenty of staff around to assist. Food- everything we had was well seasoned, good portion sizes, and burgers had creative pairings. We got wings, Barbie burgers, and plantain burger(sun fried chicken) and for sides we shared the onion rings, fries, and Mac and cheese. Vibe-Cute and simple decor. Good for singles, families, and groups. read more
What a cute and very pink place! I came here randomly as I was at a basketball game nearby. I walked in and loved the ambiance. I went to the bathroom upon arrival (gender neutral). I came back to the front and ordered an Old Fashion and I built a burger. The old fashion was not my favorite. If you read my reviews, you know I love an Old Fashion! It had an interesting taste but I assume it whatever brand bourbon used. The burger was good. I got a single patty, added lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard, mayo, ketchup (on the side, apparently you can only get 2 sauces on your burger lol), and a regular bun. It wasn't the best burger I ever had, but it was good. I would definitely go back. read more

Ghostburger is easy to find being located a short walk from the convention center's main entrance and the Marriott Marquis. You can order from either the front counter or via QR code at the table. The person running the counter was VERY helpful, as it was our first time here. Menu is pub style items including Burgers, Cheesesteaks, and Sandwich's. First, the burgers here is the size of a regular McDonalds Cheeseburger, so if you are hungry, order two patties. Despite being small, the burgers are tasty. The Ghostsauce is roughly a 1000 Islands with an extra spice kick. The fries ended up being the surprise of the meal and were excellent with a nice spicey taste. They serve Coke products. Be aware, they add a 15% gratuity automatically to the bill, which I didn't find unreasonable. I could see myself coming back here again, but ordering more next time due to the size of the burgers. read more
