Lunch special - Italian Farm salad and Paccheri Vodka
    Khadijah H.

Now Gia Mia might just be the best and most closest meal I've had to real Italian food. I felt like I was back in the south of Italy. The ambiance is nice and it's a large space. The customer service was great. The food is what will keep you coming back. I had the lunch special with my friend and settled on the salad and a Paccheri Vodka pasta. I almost ordered a full portion of the pasta to go it was so good! I was truly blown away. I felt full yet not sluggish. I still had room for dessert and tried the butterscotch bread pudding. It was even more delectable. I'm just not sure how everything they make is that good! There's no way!

Came back because we were craving the butternut squash risotto, and we had to send it back :(. Even the pictures can show the difference, they changed the recipe and it tasted like eating roses. No thank you! Please go back to the OG. On the plus side, we switched it with the chicken parm....and was happy. The basil pesto sauce has a strong basil punch and I liked it, my partner did not. But the chicken itself was nice a thinned with a great crisp crust. Watch out for the little kick in the Paccheria vodka, it's nice but doesn't linger too long.

Gia Mia is hands down the best restaurant in Wheaton. Food is always excellent, staff friendly but efficient and the atmosphere is casual but cozy. We go here often. It's our favorite. Visited this week for my birthday. We had the Prosciutto and Fig Bruschetta as an appetizer. It was perfectly grilled bread with fig jam, ricotta, and Prosciutto with a balsamic glaze. The ricotta and Prosciutto are so simple but such high quality - excellent. I had the Scottish Salmon and my husband had the Chicken Piccata. The salmon is served in a light sauce over farro with asparagus and baby squash. And if you like briny capers, you will love the Chicken. We finished with the Tiramisu. Gia me also has excellent pasta and wood fire pizza. Honestly, there is nothing on the menu I don't like

Al fresco season in downtown Wheaton is back and best believe Gia Mia is part of it! A group of 5 of us dined in for dinner and for a weekday outing this place was BUSY. The first person to arrive opted to sit indoors which is fine! We were seated at a table across from the bar. The area itself felt tight but thankfully the table seating itself was spacious enough for us. Service throughout was decent. Everything was timed out well and we didn't have any long waits in between. I got the paccheri vodka pasta and it was good! I've had this dish at the downers grove location so I was expecting the sauce to be more saucey. From here it was on the thinner side and the amount of sauce given was good enough. The noodles were cooked exactly how I like em though, al dente.

Great service and really good food! Not a huge space so I would go for a cute date night or a small group. Intimate setting with nice decor. Their wood fired pizzas are so yummy!

First time at Gia Mia! Greeted immediately but the restaurant was super busy so there was a 10 minute wait. For our appetizers we got the Zucchini Fries which were fire, Ricotta + Honeycomb was delicious too, the Spinach + Artichoke Fonduta had a bit too much spinach but still pretty good. For our main entrees we got the Pear + Caramelized Onion and the Paccheri Vodka Pasta - both main entrees were solid! Definitely recommend this place to all in downtown Wheaton.

The food was pretty mid, the pasta gia was definitely better than the carbonara, but the dessert was the best thing here

Lovely place to have a meal with wonderful menu options. Our whole table enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Calamari $14 - Very good, lightly breaded and fried. Brussels Sprouts $8 - Flavorful dish. Stinger pizza $15 - Love the thin chewy crust, delicious combination of toppings! Paccheri Vodka pasta $18 - Great merriment of sauce and sausage in this pasta. Medallions of Beef $29 - Steak is tender and the sides are perfectly seasoned. Dolcinos $13 - Dessert sampler is a great way to try a little bit of 4 different types of desserts. I liked the strong coffee taste in the tiramisu and the vanilla bean gelato was a hit. We came for a birthday celebration and they gave the birthday girl a complimentary pistachio ice cream, what a nice touch! I'll have to remember to check out their half price pizza on Mondays. Reservations can be made on Resy. Street parking is easy to find. They have 6 locations around Chicagoland. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024

This is a lovely Italian restaurant with great menu options. I came here with a friend and it was definitely an excellent choice. We really enjoyed the food and the relaxing atmosphere. We ordered the prosciutto and burrata and the zucchini fries for our appetizers. Both were amazing. The burrata was perfect and came with delicious prosciutto slices and pizza bread. For dinner, I ordered the paccheri vodka pasta. I loved the giant rigatoni and small crumbled pieces of Italian sausage. I would order this again for sure...I'll be back in the future!!

Service was great! Everything we got here was so delicious and cake out so fast. I've literally been thinking about this pizza since I ate it, the cold burratta cheese on the warm pizza is so delicious. Literally cannot wait to come back here

    Pear and Limoncello Fiesta
    Danae S.

Came here to meet a friend. I made a reservation, and good thing I did because it was busy for a week night. Service was fast. It was a little loud, but just because it was busy and lots of people were talking. I got the pear and limoncello fiesta. Light pear and lemon flavor. It's not too sweet. Pizza was yummy as well, great crust!

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

I ordered the Tinto de Verano, and it was really good. It was a bit strong and reminded me of a sangria. For tapas, we got the #21 shrimp dish, which was packed with flavor. The calamari was light and airy, and the accompanying sauces added even more flavor. We also shared the patatas bravas, which were crispy and had a nice little kick to them. So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.
