They do not seem to want you to order a pizza customized your way judging by the fact it costs $3 per topping for meat, vegetable, or otherwise. If you want mushroom, onions, and olives that's an extra $9! The pizza and stromboli are interesting, it looks well done but it's really soft. So I would ask for it crispy if that's how you like it. If you are in the area give it a try. The service is ok. One waiter could have held the door for me since I was holding a pizza, a stromboli, a soda, and a slice of cake. The place does seem pretty clean. All in all, it's good. Could be better.

We should've ordered linguini on the side and this was Hubs' favorite dish of the night. The place filled up quickly after we arrived. Hubs had been wanting to try Italian food in Delaware. This place is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. We were expecting it to be a fancy restaurant when we saw the exterior and were pleasantly surprised that it was a pizzeria. Additionally, they have wine though it's a limited selection.

I've ordered from Gianni's pizza several time in person. I live less than a mile away from the store. I was told by the man who answered the phone, that his drivers won't deliver there because it's not a wealthy area and it's poor. I informed him of how close I was, and I was willing to pay with card over the phone so the driver didn't need to carry as much cash on him to deliver to my "dangerous, poverty ridden neighborhood" which , if I'm correct, their business is apart of the same neighbor judging by the less than a mile apart distance from my house to store. I asked him if I heard him correctly, with his heavy accent, politely that he was refusing to send his driver to a contact less, cashless delivery less than a mile from the store. He informed me the area was too poor, and he only delivers to the rich areas. I asked the man on the phone for his name, so I could file a complaint with the manager tomorrow, he rudely refused and told me the pizza shop has a name and I could use that to file my complaint. He continued to be rude while I asked to speak with a manager. He believed he hung up the phone, where he rudely started to talk trash on me, saying these da** n***ers think they deserve everything since that cop killed that n***er , he suddenly realized the phone was still connected while him and his coworkers laughed at his comments. I am one to never write reviews and to understand sometimes people are having rough days and need a break. I understand I live in a rough part of town, despite only being less than a mile away, and most places have honored my delivery request when offering to pay with plastic. Their was no compromise, nor any response to their previous deliveries which they have stamped my discount card for. If they didn't decide to be racist, I wouldn't post this review, but it seems like this pizza shop doesn't want to have the poverty or minorities shop their anymore. I'm officially boycotting this pizza shop, and I hope others do too, places like this need to learn a thing or two about customer service and how to be polite. I was extremely polite the entire conversation and I'm extremely disappointed by the racist and prejudiced against poverty shown by this shop. Make of this information what you will. This pizza is the best in Delaware. Hands down beats Grotto's every time. Reminds me of real Philly Pizza. Is tasty and delicious and always delivered hot. They even go out of their delivery area when I order at the school I work at. I would recommend them even if they didn't, but it is much appreciated and makes any day special. It's popular with locals, and for good reason. This Italian restaurant offers great thin-crust pizza with many choices, as well as fantastic cheesesteaks and loaded subs. Restaurant is busy even though it's in a small, wedge-shaped brick building. You can eat outside or on the second floor. They also have gluten-free pizza dough so I highly recommended. read more
