Very pleasant surprise. Right under my nose and first time trying it. Will be back. I had the Itailian hoagie which was very ample in size. Made with pepper ham Genoa salami and cappicola. The way it should be in my opinion. It was very good and the lunch meat was sliced on the thinner side(again this is how I prefer it- could even go thinner, but that would be splitting hairs lol). Others got the blt wrap that was a lunch special. A lot of bacon so how can you go wrong there. Check out the pictures. Wish it was on the regular menu instead of just a special. This place is fantastic and a hidden gem! How have I lived here in Wilmington for 8+ years and have only discovered Fresco Pizzeria now? It's excellent! Service is super friendly and the place is very clean. I don't dine indoors since we're in a pandemic, but I would consider eating in here since it was sparkling. I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was superb. Roasted chicken, bacon and ranch generously topped a cheesy slice with a soft chewy and crisp crust. It was delicious! We also had a cheesesteak wrap and chicken Caesar wrap that was excellent. Hubs said it was the best chicken Caesar wrap he's ever have based on how they prepped the chicken. I've been to this pizzaria a number of times, but not usually for pizza. Don't get me wrong. They have good puzza and you can buy the whole thing or by the slice. I just don't don't eat that much bread that often. So I when I go there, I order a hamburger or a gyro, which are both excellent and filling. They don't scrimp on ingredients or sides. The staff is friendly and ready to help you. They also turn out the food quickly and it's hot when it comes out. I haven't tried their delivery service, but I imagine it parallels their in-store service. read more

Let me start by saying the loaded fries were FLIPPING DELICIOUS. I am really not a French fry person, but my comrade wanted them, so we got 'em. And boy, oh, boy, have I been screwing up my ordering. These are a must-get. They were loaded (pun intended) with bacon and cheese, and came with some delicious ranch sauce. Yum! The pizza was A-OK, but I do think their dough is a little thick. In the future I will be ordering the largest pie they make and asking for it well-done. That usually solves the thickness problem for me. We just moved to the area, and searching for a good pizza. We ordered the veggies lover pizza for pick up and telephone as well as in person service was great! The pizza itself was really good as well. Both my bf and I feel like the toppings here were more of quality than chains or other places & we really liked the crust. Stayed crispy in the box during the drive back home. The olives weren't just black olives in the can, they were the red/purple Greek kalamata olives (I think) and they had red onions on the pizza (what I prefer) . We can't wait to try the other pizzas, but I know if we ever have a hankering for veggies this is the place. Inside the place looked quite modern and clean, and the staff was very friendly; prices aren't bad, very much comparable to other joints around the area. I've had the pizza in the past and it was delicious. Yesterday I had the Junior cheese steak lunch special, came with a soda and french fries. The sandwich itself was 6 inches, perfect size for me, I was stuffed. I asked for fried onions, provolone, hot peppers and mushrooms(little extra). I paid less than $7 and the food was delicious, the restaurant clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. read more

This was really our favorite place until recently .. the last two times I ordered the pizza was terrible .. tonite I order 2 large and when it was picked up it was ice cold like chewy cardboard.. very very disappointing for the amount of money I spend there . The topper for me tonite after I got home and discovered this was when I was told they would" make 2 new pizzas and I could bring back the cold ones " I was taken back because anytime I've had an issue with an order I first got an apology and second I was usually told they would deliver the fresh pizza to me and not make me come back out .. she seemed like she didn't even care and blamed it on the place being hectic ... very sad how you treat a very loyal customer read more

If I could give negative stars I would!! While waiting for food the owner did not see me only my daughter and when my child sipped her soda she screamed bloody murder at my daughter for moving her mask in a completely empty restaurant to sip a drink. I know my daughter should always keep her mask on but consider they are kids and speaking nicely works with any age!! No need to scream at a paying customer then purposely not refund them and give them garbage for food. This place is an honest disgrace read more

This is without a doubt, our favorite pizzeria in Wilmington. Orders are completed quickly, and the delivery person is always the same. And the food!!! This is gourmet pizza and bolis with attention to detail (like cheese type, flavorful crust, creative and healthy toppings) and fresh and delicious ingredients. Prices are very reasonable, too. And then...THEN...they created an app so you can order on line. Have you ever attempted to use Papa John's or Domino's app? They're difficult, at best, to navigate. Fresco's is easy to use and keeps you appraised of your order status. With innumerable combinations of fresh ingredients and dishes, they're the best in town. They also have a buy ___(I forget how many) and get a pizza free, just in case that's holding you back. Yay, Fresco's! read more

Staff are not aware that a gift certificate is actually money that they've already received and therefore should be equivalent to a cash payment. Romeos has closed and Fresco Pizzeria is on its place. The pizza is fair but I wouldn't order again. Very different from Romeos which had freshly thrown dough, with a thick crust which was soft in middle, and a sandy bottom. Fresco pizza is a bit spongy as if it had been a frozen crust. It's thin but not like New York style sandy pizza at all. Lost one fave on my list and sorry to see Romeos go. Have to stick with Mazellas, Sbarro, Double Decker, Cafe Riviera, Massimos in Booths Corner, or Pat's. read more
