I think my previous review was removed because I referred to this as the _____ Giant with a modifier that may have offended someone, which is funny, since I'm a member of that particular group who utilizes kosher food. They have a lot of it here to cater to the local community and in fact they have a strictly kosher deli and the bakery is certified kosher as well. Is there something offensive there? This store is huge and they have nearly everything from certified organic, to junk food, to great cheeses and so much more in between like a pharmacy and Members 1st bank branch. The lines tend to move quickly and there are plenty of self-checkout terminals available. My only complaint is how far I have to drive to get here when the Camp Hill location is so much closer. That's the price for getting what I want when it's not available anywhere else. Great kosher selection of that wasn't clear above. LOL read more

I consistently shop here and it's basically my go-to supermarket as it is a reasonable distance from my home. I think it's one of the better Giant stores in the area. It's always clean, stocked well and the prices are decent, especially the sale items. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat they offer many hot food choices as well as a HUGE salad bar. Their subs are delicious and are priced really reasonable compared to other local sub shops. I love the variety of the many different cheeses, as I'm a wine drinker and I like finding different cheeses to pair. They also sell all types of beer, wine, cider, craft beers, etc. Parking is always easy and they have a gas station in the parking lot where you can cash in your gas rewards. Normally I don't write reviews about grocery stores, but this one's special, and I felt compelled to share the word with others. This place is excellent for two reasons: 1: there is a wide selection of ready-made food that you can grab at lunchtime that is fresh and affordable. There are salads, sandwiches, sushi, among others. The folks who serve you are friendly and knowledgeable. 2: the beer garden! I should note there is nothing about it that is reminiscent of a garden, but there is a surprisingly wide selection of beers (local and imported). You can also buy loose beers AND you have the option of picking six different beers to make up your own six-pack that costs something like ten bucks. Great deal! The premises are also pretty clean. This is the best Giants in the area. The place us clean and have great looking produce compared to other locations. I feel like this place always have plenty of registers open on a busy weekend. I stopped in to get my iced vanilla latte from Starbucks before shopping. The convenience is amazing. They are also the few locations with beer in its stores. My husband and I split the mix and match 6 pk which is rare for PA. I told my husband if we ever move, this will always be my grocery store!! read more

This is a review of the MTO breakfast sandwich at Giant only. The eggs are MTO and taste great. Meat choices are bacon or sausage and you can add cheese if desired. Bread options include bagel, croissant, and toast (I think). I had the bagel with bacon and cheese - the bagel was subpar (rubbery) but everything else tasted fine. If you're in a bind it can work but I won't be going out of my way to have one again. read more

Stood at the seafood counter for at least 10 minutes while 2 girls and a male walked by back and forth didn't even help me. I even stood in the middle of the walkway entering their employee counter. The 2 girls were too busy acting ghetto talking about going out while the male paced by me several times, he even made eye contact. Then a deli guy walked by only to ignore me. The 3 main workers proceed to talk about "I dare to to tell them" I'm assuming they were making fun of another employee. This might be the most ghetto/trashy bunch I have ever encountered. Recently purchased a sheet cake from the bakery and was so very pleased with the experience. I had a very unusual request for the decoration. But, Nicole , their cake decorator, took on the task with awesome results. She made the design a Scottish Tartan. It looked fantastic! Thank you soo very much Nicole. The cake was a 1/2 sheet red velvet and it did not last long at the Porktoberfest celebration we went to yesterday. The guest devoured it! I came here once before for a bottle of belgian ale and a six-pack, but returned today with my son to have lunch and pick up some sushi to go. We had a decent time with a choice of hot food and very friendly service. I shared some fried chicken and mac& cheese and he enjoyed a Nestle Quick from the cooler and a Kona coffee in a can for me. I have been ordering groceries and picking up using the Giant peapod systen 4 times. Recently, the system has lost my order twice, so it's been over 3 weeks since I have been able to get groceries from Giants peapod system. I have an order in now but don't know if it has been lost again. I talked to Giant they are having computer problems and lots of people have lost their orders. When I called peapod at the store he said customer service has stopped taking phone calls!! This is a total screw up! read more

I want to thank Giant on Linglestown Road today for the worst sub I ever experienced the bun was so dry I had to take a drink after every bite my cheese had hard spots on it the lunch meat taste like the inside of the refrigerator terrible I usually stop here a lot for lunch but the last few times the quality has been sinking they have stuff on the sandwich board that they don't even have like pastrami my 4th time checking on Pastrami and says they have it on the deli Carver but they don't have any at all I guess I'll have to switch to another place for lunch when I'm in that area. read more

I really don't know what people are complaining about here. I have been using this giant now for a few years. I've never had any problems. It's a big Giant with a large selection. The prices are almost always lower than Weis Markets or Karns on most items. I've never used the pharmacy before but, life isn't instant. Giant is one of the better grocery stores in the area. This giant is reasonably priced in their fruits and vegetables are fresh. This store is a large one so I can be hard to find what you're looking for. A large selection of meals and dinners you can get boxed to take with you including a sushi station. Giant also has an excellent selection of meats and cheeses but I've found that the cheeses can be expensive for get. A Starbucks is build into this Giant which is a bonus. read more

One of my favorite stops when I'm in town. It's clean and the food is fresh. I enjoy the salad bar the most. There's a coffee shop and beer garden. Play area for children. I have never had a negative experience coming here. Now the gas station can get pretty congested when customers want to use their points prior to the expiration date.
