I want to start off by saying the staff was great. This review is just about the food. We went for brunch and honestly were disappointed. It was Mother's Day and my husband noticed that prices on the normal brunch menu were 4-5 dollars cheaper than what was offered for the Mother's Day brunch. But we still decided to go, not a huge deal. We ordered a salad to share and 2 meals. My husband got the quiche and it was over cooked, burnt on the ends and had a rubber texture. My meal was better, I got the stake and eggs but there seemed to be a lot of fat on my stake. I don't eat stake often, I am not sure if this normal. We returned the quiche and decided just to share my meal (since it was a pretty big amount of food). The staff was understanding but I was a little underwhelmed and not sure when we return again.

Hubby made reservations at the Greystone, one of our favorite places to frequent in Harrisburg, for a lovely anniversary dinner. Why? Consistent great food with mostly consistent excellent service for a fantastic casual dining experience. Danielle did her best waiting on five different tables in our section. The Brussels are always a hit, and today, I tried the ravioli. Chef's Kiss for the Ravioli!

We have been to Greystone a few times, but came to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation and was taken to our table immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The table we were at with came out into the walkway, so we felt like we were in the way as people came by, but it was a nice modern room that was a little loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoy the food. We started with an appetizer of oysters and the crab dip. The crab dip was nice and light and the oysters were flavorful with fun accompaniments to put on top. We enjoyed a variety of dinners, including the salmon meal, the shrimp salad, wrap and a regular salad with chicken. For dessert, we enjoyed the peanut butter and chocolate dessert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a fun evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was a little slow, but we had no major issues

A lucky second choice for us as we originally tried going into downtown Harrisburg but forgot it was St. Patty's day and that we were driving a Mercedes Sprinter Van...we then found Greystone and were really glad we did. At first we thought it was a private club. Has the vibe of a country club. Service was really good. Not only our waiter but the manager checked on us frequently. We had the crab dip for an appetizer and it was so tasty. We then decided on two pasta. I had the sage duck pasta. The braised duck was phenomenal and the pasta had to be homemade. It was delicious. We also had the pasta that had red vodka sauce and it too was very flavorful. Cocktails were really refreshing too. The pomegranate, lemoncello martini was perfection. Good food, good service with a club feel.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you park, you're greeted by a gorgeous outdoor property.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating with an indoor and outdoor bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Occasionally they will offer live music on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a great happy hour and I usually go for the oysters and cocktails! For the area, honestly it's one of my favorite spots! If you like brunch, it's also a great place on a Sunday!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here for a friend's rehearsal dinner. I had the eggplant rolltini and it was divine-the polenta was cooked to perfection and the flavors all matched well. The serving was very generous and I could have split with someone else. I also enjoyed the butter lettuce Salad which was light and refreshing. The cava Brut was light and refreshing. The prices here are very reasonable. The outside patio is nice and spacious with lovely views. This would be a great venue for an event, but also would be a great place to have drinks and/or dinner.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We dined outside for brunch, there was more than enough shade & fans.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was phenomenal, their home fries are killer. Drinks were amazing as well! Service was on the slower side, but our server was very nice.

The family went to the GPH for my birthday. We sat outside. Started with delicious cocktails & four apps: smoked corn arancini, crisply Brussels, focaccia bread, and prosciutto Burrata. All of them were delicious and I would highly recommend. I split the smoked beet salad with my wife. The smoked beats were amazing! I had the single crab cake meal for my dinner. The crab cake was the perfect blend of crab meat and a little fill. For dessert, I had the peanut butter pie. Beyond deliciousness. Service was very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Ask the Community - Greystone Public House

Do you have a party room for a Sunday brunch in March?

They do have private rooms. You should email/contact them directly.

Do you need to make a reservation? Is it casual or dress up?

You don't have to make a reservation - especially during weekdays and lunchtime definitely don't think you need one! It's a nice place so if you want a fancy meal you can dress up without feeling overdressed, but jeans are allowed/okay.

How do I cancel a reservation?

    I would call them.

After Cinco de Mayo…read more It was a rainy day here in Harrisburg, PA. I took a job in Lancaster, but first, I needed my coffee--I think I'm addicted to it now! The day before, I had a great cup from Passenger, but today I stopped by Little Amps in downtown Harrisburg before hitting the road. The atmosphere was excellent; it reminded me of home in LA with the records playing, dim lighting, and vintage decor everywhere. I felt a bit torn, like one coffee house wanted me to stay and the other wanted me to leave, so I decided to "break myself in half" and visit both. After all, two of me is better than one! I highly rate Little Amps for the scenery. The vintage look and the outdoor seating make you feel like you're in Manhattan or Paris, giving you the vibe of three places all in one. If you haven't been to any of these spots yet, save your money and just visit Little Amps to get that "all-in-one" experience. The staff is very inviting and they do offer bagels, though I have to be honest: they aren't quite as good as New York bagels. I know New York bagels inside and out, and they know me! I hope my review helps you decide where to get your next caffeine fix.

It's clear that little amp cares about its community, which beyond great coffee is the best to have. A space where people are safe, welcomed, and supported. The chai late was amazing, as well was my partners espresso tonic. But what we loved most was how open, welcoming, and loving the space and staff were.
