Selection isn't great, but they're moving to a larger place at South Mall soon so that should improve. I couldn't find brown mustard in a glass jar. They used to have multiple brands of frozen bagels that I liked, with good ingredients and not crazy-high priced gluten-free ones, but they stopped carrying them when they moved things around and now they only have Lender's and, in a special section, the gluten-free ones. I've been going to the supermarket since 2016 because I live two blocks away, but I have no idea what's going on with the carts. It's almost impossible to go shopping when your cart is shaking so much that you come out with jitters in your hands, and they all sound so awful; everybody hears you coming from a mile away. When are they planning to fix these carts or replace them? Even Walmart has new carts. Also, the customer service has to improve. I've done my weekly shopping here for many, many years. The store is clean and customer service is awesome! Their prices can't be beat, especially items on sale. Some items I regularly purchase seemed to be out of stock often. I addressed this with customer service and it's now a non issue. I'd like this store to offer curbside pickup as other Giants do. I've been told the store is too small (not enough freezer space to store items for "pick up" and that they're looking to expand and/or purchase additional space. I was told that a year ago and still they don't offer "pick up". If they offered "pick up" I'd have given this location five stars. read more

Came here after work on 04 Jan 2022, bought a steak. Get home and open it up, start seasoning it and it smells spoiled. I check the date, its dated as "Sell By 17 Dec 2021". I obviously took it back. The girl who helped me, and refunded my money, was very nice but the manager couldn't even come to apologize or touch base. Thats not cool. Not only could I have gotten sick, but they wasted my time. Stopped in this Giant store for the first time today looking for a last minute (3 week notice) wedding cake as the bakery we were planning on using fell through. The employee in the bakery (John) was very kind, friendly and funny. If he didn't have an answer for us he immediately went and found out. It couldn't have been a smoother or enjoyable process to order a 3-tier wedding cake as well as a half sheet cake. The store itself was nice, clean and well stocked. I'd recommend the bakery to anyone who is in need of their services. read more

As far as grocery stores go, this Giant is a bit expensive. Of course there are weekly sales that run daily but in general I was disappointed at regular prices compared to other giant stores. Also there are tons of other cheaper stores in the area as well; farmers market, Wal mart, Aldi's, and grocery outlet are just the few that o have found to be less expensive. However because of their service, they deserve at least 3 stars. read more

I ordered a cake on Friday afternoon for Sunday. I had never ordered a cake from here before so I was a bit nervous but I was able to sample the frosting before hand and I thought it was good! My niece was turning 8yrs old and it was a unicorn themed party, but I was told they couldn't do a unicorn design so I just asked for pinks and purples...pastel colors. When my niece and I picked up the cake Saturday night, we were blown away. The flowers and balloons were perfect but the "icing on the cake?" Whoever decorated this cake went the extra mile and put little unicorn rings on top of the cake, which made it extra special for my girl. She was super happy and grateful. The cake was also really really good so it was a win win. To the cake decorating team, thank you for making her birthday extra special. You guys rocked it and we appreciate you so much. I love the cleanliness of this giant even though their prices are higher than other Giants in the area.my main complaint is that I have to wait 20 to 30 minutes and the produce section every time I want to buy salmon. It's very frustrating, there has even been times where I've been in the store and had to call the customer service line to get somebody to come back to the produce section to serve the customers read more

Be careful going there at night the staff has issues helping you. During the day this does not happen nearly as much. Also recently had problems with bonus buy items being placed with nonsale items to trick the consumer into thinking they were picking up a sale item. Good selection of products, fair pricing, meat and poultry are fresh, and the bakery is very good. It's best to shop there during the day. At night, the store begins restocking and it's impossible to get around the many crates and carts that take up the width of the skinny aisles. Little effort is made by much of the stocking crew to at least make the aisles passable. I have to circle around the store 2-3 times just to get around all the blockades. At night you also have to use the self-checkout which treats you like a criminal. Ironically, I needs assistance multiple times from the very nice clerk to complete self-checkout. "Please place the item in the bag. Please place the item in the bag. Please place the item in the bag...." I always leave a little angry. I only shop at Giant out of necessity when Redners is waxing their floors. read more

I shopped here a lot when i was living in the area up until about 2 months ago, mostly out of convenience. Overall the store is pretty clean and well stocked, so it serves its purpose. However make sure you check your produce. On more than one occasion I witnessed bags of rotting garlic sitting there for weeks, greens that were no longer a color resembling green, and i even purchased mushrooms with flies in the packaging. read more

I shop here out of convenience, but I really dislike this store A LOT. The shelves are rarely stocked with the items I get. The people who work here are typically not that friendly nor professional. The isles are so filled with crap you can barely get by when the store is busy, which it always seems to be. The parking lot is filled with carts left my lazy shoppers and the cart racks are filled to the brim with carts every single time I shop. I used to shop at Giant years ago when I lived in Emmaus because it was so close to my house. I am living back in Emmaus now and decided that I would try them again. The place was under renovations, and it did not feel welcome. I was a nervous wreck by the time I left the store. The prices were higher than before and I felt were way too expensive. I limited what I bought there and went a few days later to my normal grocery store at Wegmans. The only good thing about Giant was that the check out cashier was very nice. read more

I shop at Giant a lot. I primarily go to the one in Coopersburg, but also shop at both Quakertown Giants and Hellertowns.....all on par with one another overall. The one overall , consistent disappointment is the Emmaus Giant. There are a few things that can be overlooked, but the glaring sore here is their poor customer service. Every time, the checkers seem bored, or angry, or generally miserable. Perhaps that's either a reflection of the customers they have to deal with, or a bad management situation, I don't know, but it's the last thing I want to do, spend $200 and be glared at, pouted at , or talked down to. Today was it for me, the checker was visibly annoyed when I told her ( she never asked before starting) my bag preference, and she had to move 2 things to a different bag. Then she tells me I need to be careful, this line is the express line and I have too many things. ( I was a couple over, but they were duplicate items, 4 cups all together, 2 of the same vegetable, etc.) No one was in line behind or ahead, so her only possible reason behind saying anything was to be lippy. She told me SHE didn't care, but if I saw a blond woman coming over, she'd get all crazy about it. I just laughed and told her, that's fine, I don't have to spend my money there....walking away is an option. She stopped talking at that. Just go to the Coopersburg Giant. Really. read more
