I shop here all the time and they are always nice and helpful. It does get crowded and busy on the weekends. They have a good selection of food and things are laid out in a sensible way. It's clean and bright inside. The parking lot feels safe. read more

Giant was big and clean but for it to be big I couldn't find 1/2 the things on my grocery list. For example I was looking for Vodka Pasta Sauce and they only had 3 to choose from which made me extremely surprised. Furthermore their international section was also limited. I want to believe this is due to the area the giant is located in. Taking into account the demographic of the area it makes sense why my grocery list couldn't be completed but I would have loved to not travel to several different stores. I also don't buy eggs from grocery stores like giant but I was curious about the price $6-9 for some eggs is kinda crazy but I guess if you really need eggs we kinda have no choice. Other than that, shelves were pretty stocked and the employees were more than willing to help you located an aisle for your items read more

Always happy to support union workers and this store has been our favorite for a year now. Have never had issues with cleanliness here. Staff in store and pharmacy are all lovely and friendly. I wish more customers were as kind to them, though! read more

This Giant is pretty good. It is better than either of the Giant stores near my house, and it suits my needs perfectly when I'm at work and need something from the grocery store. 1pm tends to be pretty busy, but noon is an ok time to go, as well as before 9. Sometimes things aren't on an aisle that is the intuitive place to look, but once you go a few times it sorts itself out in your head. Salad bar sometimes doesn't have the items I'd want, and even has tags for the wrong items. Staff are nice. read more

I find it appalling that giant puts these Grade A Shitty paper bags for us the customer to use, they should feel ashamed of them selves..I put 4 small items in a bag..and the bottom sides tear. The self check out could have way more attentive staff, half the time there's two or three over in the corner shooting the bullshit, and not looking at what register needs help.​ read more

On Saturday, Jan 4, 2025, I was so APPALLED at the new design of the store I started to make a video to share with Giant Food management. Next week I will call Giant to make an appointment to watch the store's tape with Ahold Executives so they can see how their staff treated and screamed at me in an inhumane and derogatory manner on Saturday, Jan 4 around 1:15-2pm. My complaint was that with the narrower aisles, and "dividers" of unnecessary display boxes and products in the middle and ends of EVERY aisle, their is the risk of hitting someone when you round almost every aisle due to blind spots. Grocery shopping is bad enough. But what I'm NOT going to do at a grocery store? Utter 50 "s'cuse me's" as I pick up butter. Who wants to spend their energy having to "size up" the mood, temperament, disposition and attitude of a fellow customer before deciding if it's "safe" to utter a "pardon me". Each time I was looking at cereal or a cut of beef, I had to move forward and away from what I was looking at, because there was no room for anyone to get around me. AND the stores were being stocked. And I had to contend with the large carts for grocery pick-up. I never felt so disrespected and juggled-about in a place where I have visited about 2x week for over 40 years! Last year I accepted the store now has scales to weigh groceries at the register. It let me know that incidences of theft have increased. But I'd never had a negative experience, so I continued to shop here. But TODAY?!! Giant owes me an apology for its IGNORANT-OF-THE-LAW staff speaking to me in a very derogatory manner and threatening to touch my purse and put me out of the store for NO just cause. I did not commit a crime. In my video I was expressing my exasperation at the new, awful, crowded design. I was expressing disdain for the CHEAP refrigerator doors on both sides of the dairy aisle. When you add two aisles of people and carts in this aisle especially, it produces mass congestion. This is the first major establishment I will no longer visit because of its poor decision-making skills. Any executive within The AHOLD Companies should question the basic thinking skills for all who signed off on making this store a battlefield of angry customers who can't shop proficiently. read more

Stopped in for a quick re supply. They have added some additional self check out isles which helps you get in and out faster. It also eliminates the need to have contact with a cashier which is very helpful during this pandemic. I came early on a Saturday morning and it was not crowded at all. I was able to peak near the entrance and get one of the many carts they had staged in front. They say they have already been sanitized but they still provide a cleaning station as soon as you enter. After cleansing my cart I was easily able to navigate the store to find everything I needed. They only had three cashiers working and each of this lanes had 3-4 people waiting in line. I went to one of the many self checkout lanes that had no line at all. Total shopping trip was under 30 min. Store was clean and well stocked. read more

I came today to get "THE VACCINE". There pharmacy area was a madhouse. The lines moved fast, but there was no way to know if you were in the right line. Signs or staff directing "traffic" would have been very helpful and cut down on the confusion. All in all, the process wasn't bad and I was finished in under 30min. read more

Self checkout is for 20 items or less. There are only 2 other registers opened with cashiers. Not happy!

Got a flu shot here. I did not have to wait long. The staff is very friendly. I recommend.

Due to the fact that the Giant Pharmacy has gotten Overwhelmed. & Out of Control. They have not dealt with COVID 19 Well. Times here have gotten progressively worse. You are placed on hold for longest times. The Pharmacy has become a severe Bottle Neck. For these reasons, we have gone with a much better Pharmacy. read more

I was racially profiled this morning. After doing self checkout (first time) without assistance due to short staffing! I was accused by a customer of stealing an item that I inadvertently did not completely cash out of. Instead of giving me the benefit of the doubt the store clerk told the police officer who ran up to me accusing me of stealing. What if my children were with me! I will never shop here again after 20 years of faithful patronage! If anyone ask I will caution them! Black buyers beware! read more

This is the closest Giant to my mother's new apartment and I took her there three days ago. The store is large & clean and it seemed well-stocked. Also, the employees - of whom I encountered several - were all *very* pleasant and helpful. The only negative concerned some of the customers, since there were *several* times when we'd attempted to go down aisles and three customers at-a-time were blocking the entire width of the aisle & yapping obliviously. In each case, I first politely said "Excuse me" (hint, hint) - and then I kept having to repeat it *several times* (and let's just say that I became less & less "polite" with each request) before all those thoughtless idiots (*grudgingly*) moved aside. I will keep going here because it is by my work but if you can, please avoid this place before 4pm. The parking lot is crowded full of people who can't drive and don't look before pulling out of their parking spots. Once I was crossing in the crosswalk and a lady almost hit me. All she did was shout at me for getting in the way. The deli line takes forever but that's mostly due to all the people who seem to want to agonize over each and every slice of lunchmeat. The aisles are crowded with slow moving people who seem not to understand the concept of other people in the store. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. read more

They never have enough cashiers. I waited in line for 30 minutes and the thing in, the lines are always long. They screwed up my order on line for pick up (my attempt to avoid the lines). Other Giants are better. Don't go to this one. read more

The pharmacy is too slow and the clerks have a hard time finding the prescriptions. I guess because the Milford Mill Giant closed. I hope they get everything straightened out soon. It is a chore to go there to pick up prescriptions. read more

Cleanliness has gotten better. The produce staff is friendly & helpful. But the cashiers are still hit or miss - some are friendly others are indifferent. I'm still counting the days until the new Owings Mills Wegmans opens. read more
