You order at the counter and then pay at the gas station attendant counter, so if you want chips and drink or other snacks, you can just get them in the station and pay like normal. The deli gives you a sticky note with the price of your order. The service was friendly and the line wasn't long, but there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up their orders or make an order. I came around lunch time on a Friday. Seeing people eating where you are is always encouraging; let's me know someone thinks the place is good. And now that I've ordered from there, I concur. They keep the place clean. So reminiscent of what my Polish family made. What makes Sophia's exceptional to me, though: I ordered a bunch of of food for my family in Baltimore; we had a death in the family and people were coming from all over the country for the funeral. I thought some good ol' Polish comfort food would be good for everyone. Not only was the food phenomenal, Tom the owner and his staff took exceptional care of me and my family. Tom delivered the food himself, ran back with something he forgot and stayed and talked to my family for a bit.
