Excellent pizza!!! I decided to order my sister a medium pizza from Giant Pizza because she said it was her favorite. Although this pizza parlor faces the main street of Antelope, it's still hidden because this corner is more known for the auto shop and the 7/11. I decided to order online. It was easy to use the website once I figured it out. Since my sister only wanted a medium olive & cheese pizza, it was quick & easy. We were given 20 minutes until the order was ready. When I arrived, it had only been 15 minutes, but I decided to walk in anyway. There isn't seating available inside. It is a small shop only big enough for a pizza oven with the conveyer belt, stacked boxes, a register, and maybe a back area for ingredients and to mix the dough. The owner was pleasant and handed me a very hot pizza that looked delicious. When I got the pizza to the house, I had a slice with my sister, and the sauce and cheese were very good! We have bought quite a few pizzas from this place. The pizza is always hot and very tasty. The place is very small like a hole in the wall...no seating...to go orders only. We always order the xl meat pizza. The crust is so good. I like mine a little more crispy...so I just put it in my air fryer for a couple minutes... The pizza is very cheesy and the ingredients are fresh. Sometimes the delivery takes a while...so I now just pick it up...it is much faster that way. I placed an order through DoorDash and upon receiving it, the box had no way of being secured shut (no tape, not bagged & tied shut etc), thus freely potentially allowing the DD driver to access my food. Damn we had plans that day which included feeding our 2 year old and 10 month old along with my folks (for my dads birthday) and we were running really late and had two incredibly hangry kids to deal with it was just not cool. The owner wasn't even phased and didn't offer any sympathies for the delay and as I listened to him continue take phone orders and quote people at a 20 minute wait time I wanted to grab the phone from him and tell the unsuspecting customers the truth. Now let's talk about dress code for the employees. There is none. I understand if it's a small family owned business but at least wear an apron? Some kid was wearing shorts and I watched him go from adding meat toppings to one pizza, to handling pizza dough, wiped flour off his shirt, and continued to work on his pizza dough. Ummmm yuck! Who knows where your shirt has been before you arrived at work? Why are you not wearing gloves, a hairnet, or an apron? Seriously the health department needs to take a look at this facility it just seems so lacking in good health practices. The guy didn't even wash his hands between what he was doing- what if the next pizza order he was working on was for a vegetarian order? Ok so moving on to the pizza review, pizza tasted bland and was lacking in fresh ingredients. Ordered online for an extra large half and half specialty for delivery. Half giant combo and half garlic lovers. The white sauce had little to no flavor on the garlic lovers side, the red sauce on the other side was much better. The toppings were just okay, and I did appreciate that I could really taste the cheese that they use. However, the crust had no flavor at all and the texture was what I imagine it would be like to bite into and chew on a dish sponge. Just a flavorless chewy sponge. I think it would have been much better if the dough had some or any kind of bread like flavor and normal pizza crust like texture. They also charged a $6 delivery fee that does not go to the driver, so expect to pay at least $11 extra for delivery after tip, even if you're just a 5 minute drive away. You also can't use their coupons for online orders. Overall, very mediocre. I think you'd be just as happy flavor wise with Little Caesars or Dominoes, and also much happier with the prices and coupons/deals that those alternatives offer. I don't think I'd personally give them another shot unless they changed their choice of dough on the crust, and only if I made the order for pickup and used a coupon. read more

There jalapeño poppers have the nacho cheese inside instead of the cream cheese ones. Been coming here since 2003, same owners and worker, pizza still great. Definitely recommend here. Poor customer service! Ordered the XL 3 topping pizza they have advertised on their window for $18.99 and was charged $32!!!! We gave the delivery driver a 15% tip over the phone when ordering the pizza which should have been $2.85 based on the $18.99 price, the person that took our order then took it upon themselves to round the tip up to $5 and neglected to tell my husband there was a $5 delivery fee on top of that. The pizza was lukewarm when it arrived and has minimal toppings. Even with the person rounding up the tip and the delivery fee I still don't see how they got to $32, so upset that we were blatantly overcharged. They had green olives on the website and did not have pineapple on there. We got a call telling us they dont carry green olives and luckily, we asked about pineapple because turns out they have that. So we called in our order and were told that it'd be a 20 minute wait. We got there 35 minutes after and waited another 20 along with 5 other customers. During this time we watched the staff cross contaminate and not wash their hands repeatedly as they moved between stations. They didn't wear hats or hair nets and had long hair dangling over the food they were prepping. They didn't even put our pizza into the oven till we got there after we arrived 10 minutes LATER than what they quoted the food being ready by. I have small kids so this throws off things considerably as we would have just told us they were backed up and tried them another time. Now that being said, if the pizza made up for the high price and extended wait I could have given them a better review/rating. Unfortunately, I paid more than 20$ for the least impressive pizza I've had in years. I could have gone to little caesars and picked up a hot and ready for 5$ that tasted better and cost me 4x less. Don't waste time or money on this overpriced cardboard with toppings. Go to a real pizza place and together let's put this shitty pizza place out of its misery. read more

There are no tables or salad bar etc. it's only pick up. I've had pizza from there about 3 times and will be going back a third time for the white sauce. The owner is not super nice or chatty. I think that's possibly a language thing. Language or not, I've never seen him smile. If it wasn't for the incredible white sauce I probably would have gone 2 stars and not come back. I'm always glad when I go visit a friend and they introduce me to their favorite local pizza. And when I say local that means excluding national pizza chains. My buddy ordered a couple pies from Giant Pizza to snack on during the NCAA Tourney, and I was very impressed. It's difficult to truly judge a pizza place by delivery, but against all odds Giant Pizza proved its mettle. We decided to go with a large veggie with white sauce and a peperoni and sausage. They even called us back to see if we wanted fresh or cooked tomatoes on the veggie...how thoughtful. The pizzas arrived hot, crispy, and in less than 30 minutes. 'Nuff said. How many places can purport to be able to pull that off? Not many. Without crust you have no pizza, so I love when pizzerias like Giant Pizza pay strict attention to the intricacies of crust cookery. Firstly, it must be adequately seasoned with salt. Check. Secondly, it must have a bit of al dente chewiness. Check. Thirdly, and most difficultly, there must be some crispiness. Check. You throw sawdust on a crust like that and I'll eat it. Lucky for me and my colon, we didn't eat sawdust. The veggie with white sauce seemed much more appetizing. I like how their artichokes don't taste pickled. Also, the veggie juices didn't soggy-up the crust, like they are known to do. The peperoni and sausage, on the other side of the pizza spectrum, was similarly well-balanced. Although covered with two forms of pork, the surface was not overwhelmed in superfluous rendered fat. All-in-all, Giant Pizza nailed every aspect of the pizza experience. In the greater Sac area, I would say Giant Pizza is a solid go-to-guy when pizza delivery is needed. We went with pepperoni and sausage on the first and chicken and mushroom (with white sauce) on the second. The white sauce pizza was a little on the dry side, but nonetheless pretty tasty! With our BOGO coupon from the entertainment book we paid a little over $20 for two pizzas, which was a decent deal. I think my only gripe about this place is the fact that they only give you one packet of Parmesan Cheese, and when you ask for more they like to say "it's in the box." Was way better last time. Original review While Round Table's XL "King Aurthur" is $35, Giant Pizza's XL "Giant Combo" is $23 and comes with a free liter soda. 12 slices. It's got pepperoni, sausage, salami, bell peppers, onions, and all the other good stuff. Tasted really good. The Red Sauce had a garlic taste to it which I love. I asked about white sauce and he said it was a $1 extra charge so we opted for Red. It was ready to pick up in 15 min on a Thursday evening. Can't beat it read more
