New Owners, Better pizza! I work near here and have ordered pizza 50 times. The old pizza was decent, but its so much better now! The crust, sauce and topping aren't the same cheap ingredients like they us to be. I told the owner how different it was and now I understand why it cost a bit more but I'm ok with that! WORST FOOD EVER! Do NOT eat here! You are wasting your time. I have lived in Citrus Heights all my life and this is the worst in the area. I got a promotional flyer about new ownership so I wanted to try the food. New owner(s), rude, and very unprofessional. the food was very subpar and not good, the small pizza parlor was unclean/dirty, and the place stinks. For the price of the food, and drinks it's really not worth it. I would seriously advise spending your time, and money elsewhere. read more

There's a place in San Jose California near the King exit. I believe it's called Pizza Box, This place NYC Pizza taste the same as my favorite spot in San Jose. We ordered the king Kong size. While up north for family, I found this place nearby to where I was staying and ordered two of their largest pizzas, traditional pepperoni and white sauce with chicken. These were massive pizza boxes, a single box the length and width of a stove. And the pizza was delicious to boot. The pizza here is pretty good, I only ordered a plain chesse, so I cannot account for their toppings, but the sauce was surprisingly good and not overdone, they did not float the pizza. The cheese was also pretty dang good, and the crust was better than any of the chain pizza places. Their pecan pie was a little burnt, but also not half bad at all for the price. Overall, I enjoyed the pizza, and would order again as they are not overpriced, and the staff is very friendly. This 3.5 star is really striving for greatness. Just ordered two pizza's and showed up presenting a "buy one get one" discount that is available on Entertainment.com only to be told that they will not honor. WTF? I was even told that I should have mentioned the discount while ordering which is not specified on the coupon. Staff was rude about it and I asked them to shove what looked to be below average pizza. I recommend finding another local business to support and we can wait together until the place closes and a better pizzeria shows up. read more

I went next door to West Coast Audio to get a deck installed. I had some time to kill and I was starving. My options were a Mexican restaurant across the street or this pizza joint. I decided to have an extra cheat day and decided for piksa. I walked in and found a little restaurant with a few tables. The guy who helped me was very helpful. I wanted something small for one person. He recommended a small pizza with toppings of my choice. I got that and a tea. He also had a Wii that I jumped on. I haven't played video games in years, so that was my highlight of the day! Very fun. Food came and it was very good. Too bad I live so far, but im in the area, ill cop another pizza to go. As we got our pizza it had tomatoes on it (we still ate it just took the tomatoes off, but what if it a serious thing that I asked for it to not have any, what if I had a serious allergic reaction to it??) and for some reason had a lot of liquid on top of it, very soggy, and flavorless! I grew up on Long Island about 10 miles from Manhattan, I go back to NYC once a year on business and I KNOW New York Pizza. This was not NY pizza but it was very, very close and far better than any other pizza that claims to be NY style that I've had in this area in the past couple of years. It was just a tad salty and could have used a tad more red sauce. Still, I liked it very much. The only issue is that I ordered two $0.99 cans of soda and only got one. I always hesitated to try this place because of the location and reviews! Now let me just say this place brought back my favorite pizza I absolutely LOVE from back home! So similar just here at NY pizza it is pretty thick but that's ok I still enjoyed it! The flavor is just delicious and a little upset it took me a year and a half to actually try such a great pizza spot! I did order a full combination pizza the L 16" and it was soo filling! Now I am a pizza lover and my boyfriend isn't and he had loved it and ate quite a few pieces which he NEVER does he thought that NY pizza had been one of the best places so far! They would be great for parties or large gatherings since they do have large pizza sizes I believe the largest is 26". I also ordered some cheesy bread to try it out and they put enough sauce and cheese it's not to little nor to much it's the perfect amount! So with NY pizza I say if you are hesitate like I was try it! Even if it's a small pizza trust me you'll go back because I no I will be and can't wait to try something new! read more
