We have been here multiple times, we love their speciality pizzas. They have a nice little place with good service and relatively quick pizza. Our go to slices are grandma little Italy and the Sicilian pepperoni. Outside of that we usually get 1-2 extra slices just depending on the rotating menu. Slice house is in an amazing area and has the capability of being very good. BUT. Sub par service and a non inviting slice selection is a major deterrent. If you don't eat pork don't expect any speciality ready made slices besides cheese. They have so many options, and so many customizations, but if you want any that don't have bacon, pepperoni, or pork sausage , you won't be able to unless you order a whole pizza ahead. Came for some pies because they have New York style and cauliflower crust, just what I was looking for. I ordered the Rosa New York style with gluten free cauliflower crust and it has delicious toppings, but the gluten free cauliflower crust is not the best I've had. It is on a more dense side, I wish it was just a bit more crispy on the bottom. The crust is definitely crispy. My boyfriend loves his NY American Combo, especially the fresh grape tomatoes/ the different colored kind! Pies were piping hot and still hot after a 15 minute drive home. Perfect amount of toppings, they did not skimp on the cheese or sauce either. Cauliflower crust was an additional $5. Pizzas came out to a total of $65 or so, quite expensive. They have options to buy by the slice, so you can try all their different options and see what is your favorite! They have New York style, Chicago style and Detroit style. Amazing pizza spot! Slice house makes grabbing a slice of pizza perfect for my half hour lunches. I got the slice of the day (cant remember the name) lunch combo with a salad for $11. The service is pretty good, the employees are very nice and friendly. The only down side that comes out of the place is the heat. The establishment is so small with a pizza oven running all day its bound to get really hot in there. They do have big A/Cs blowing but its always nicer outside on their side patio. Been wanting to try the place since they opened and was finally in the area hungry! We each ordered a different slice of pizza - sweet gino, the folsom, and pepperoni. Overall, the pizzas were good but a bit pricey. My brother loved his the folsom slice and was on the fence of ordering another one. He said it was flavorful with fresh ingredients and perfectly crispy yet soft. My sweet gino slice and my boyfriend's pepperoni slice was underwhelming. Both were a bit dry and greasy. Stopped here with some coworkers after visiting an offsite location. I had never heard of Slice House, but both of them had and were pretty excited to see one in the area. The parking lot was big, clean, and had plenty of spots available, which is always a win. Ambiance: 8 /10 From the outside you can tell it is a clean, modern spot. Inside it gives you that classic pizzeria feel, and I am always here for a good pizza joint vibe. There was plenty of seating inside, and outside they had a nice patio area with a drop down TV. I could easily see this being a fun place to watch a game, grab a beer, and split a few slices. One thing I appreciated was the stack of pizza boxes near the drink station. If you need a to go box, you just grab one yourself. Simple and efficient. Service: 6 / 10 This is an order at the counter and seat yourself kind of place, so there is not a ton of interaction. The little bit of service I did experience was pleasant and quick. No issues there. Food: 8 / 10 Now the important part. The pizza was definitely good. I would put it in my top five pizza spots so far. It is one of those places where you pick your slice and they pop it back in the oven to heat it up to your preferred level of crispiness. I love that feature because it makes it taste fresh instead of just warmed up. There is not one close to my area, unfortunately. Only tried this once before when they opened. Went in today for lunch to try it again. Wow! It did not disappoint. So many options and all unique. We tried The Folsom, NY style Hot Honey and Detroit style Motörhead. The crunch on the Motörhead was incredible, it the whole sides and bottom of the pizza with a crunch in every bite! The hot honey had such a good flavor and the crunchy crust was on point. The Folsom has unique flavor too. I honestly cannot say which one I liked the most. They were all so good. Pizza Heaven on earth! This is an absolute pizza lovers dream. They have it all. They even have different types of pizza crusts! They have a selection of crusts like Sicilian, New York, Grandma Style, Detroit, and traditional. I had been looking forward to trying Slice House in Folsom and made the 40+ minute drive to finally check it out. I visited around 3-4 PM and ordered the Drunken Italian Sicilian slice, which was featured as the slice of the day. Unfortunately, it was extremely hard and tasted stale. The crust was so tough it even cut my lip, which made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. Since I had driven a long distance, I decided to give it another chance during the same visit and ordered a classic New York cheese slice. Unfortunately, this one also missed the mark. It did not reflect the texture or quality I would expect from a New York-style pizza. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of both slices, especially given the reputation and the distance I traveled. First off, I would like to say the food here is really good. The problem is the customer service. Both times my family and I have gone to get a couple of slices and was met with terrible customer service by this young boy. He was extremely rude towards my family as well as multiple other customers both times we were there. Playing inappropriate music with kids around and not watching his language. Very unprofessional. It's mind blowing that he still continues to work there. This last time we enjoyed our food there I overheard somebody talking to him and found out his name is Jordan. This was our second time at this pizza place. We really enjoyed our slices both times :) the traditional had a nice thick crust as pictured and the wise guy was pretty large, about a foot long. We would not buy the pineapple one again as neither of us liked the taste of that one but everything else was delicious. Paid almost 40 bucks for 4 slices, a drink, and 3 ranches. Kind of surprised the tiny ranches were almost a buck each, usually places like this would just throw them in complementary. There is limited seating inside but plenty outside! The slices of pineapple are super thin which is great because it doesn't overpower the pizza and the dough/bread was so fluffy. They have plenty of options of slices to choose from or if you wanted to order a whole pie, you can too. The inside is small, cute, and clean with enough sitting area for people who want to sit and eat. Service is also fast if your time is limited for a lunch break. The Slice House is a good place for really good pizza if you can't get to Tony's SF location.
