Been wanting to try the place since they opened and was finally in the area hungry! We each ordered a different slice of pizza - sweet gino, the folsom, and pepperoni. Overall, the pizzas were good but a bit pricey. My brother loved his the folsom slice and was on the fence of ordering another one. He said it was flavorful with fresh ingredients and perfectly crispy yet soft. My sweet gino slice and my boyfriend's pepperoni slice was underwhelming. Both were a bit dry and greasy. I wished they offered more vegetarian slice options in their case! May come back to try one of their whole vegetarian pizza options!

Stopped here with some coworkers after visiting an offsite location. I had never heard of Slice House, but both of them had and were pretty excited to see one in the area. The parking lot was big, clean, and had plenty of spots available, which is always a win. Ambiance: 8 /10 From the outside you can tell it is a clean, modern spot. Inside it gives you that classic pizzeria feel, and I am always here for a good pizza joint vibe. There was plenty of seating inside, and outside they had a nice patio area with a drop down TV. I could easily see this being a fun place to watch a game, grab a beer, and split a few slices. One thing I appreciated was the stack of pizza boxes near the drink station. If you need a to go box, you just grab one yourself. Simple and efficient. Service: 6 / 10 This is an order at the counter and seat yourself kind of place, so there is not a ton of interaction. The little bit of service I did experience was pleasant and quick. No issues there. Food: 8 / 10 Now the important part. The pizza was definitely good. I would put it in my top five pizza spots so far. It is one of those places where you pick your slice and they pop it back in the oven to heat it up to your preferred level of crispiness. I love that feature because it makes it taste fresh instead of just warmed up. There is not one close to my area, unfortunately. But if I find myself back that way and craving pizza, I would absolutely stop in again. If you are on the fence, just give it a try. It is worth it.

Only tried this once before when they opened. Went in today for lunch to try it again. Wow! It did not disappoint. So many options and all unique. We tried The Folsom, NY style Hot Honey and Detroit style Motörhead. The crunch on the Motörhead was incredible, it the whole sides and bottom of the pizza with a crunch in every bite! The hot honey had such a good flavor and the crunchy crust was on point. The Folsom has unique flavor too. I honestly cannot say which one I liked the most. They were all so good. Can't wait to try other flavors.

Stopped at the atm next door and saw a packed house at this pizza joint. The pizza was tasty the sauce had great flavor. The guy in front taking our order could brush up on the customer service but I would be back to try more. Wasn't disappointed in the food at all.

We always come to slice house whenever we get pizza cravings! Started ordering through DoorDash and we were never disappointed with the quality, portion, and taste! We usually get one deep dish and the classics to share for two and it always hits the spot! They also have special pizzas of the day and we love getting those! Slice house is definitely the place to order for pizza parties!!

Had work in the area and stopped in to see if this is good pizza . I got a corner Sicilian and a plain slice. This is good pizza . As soon as I walked in the service was friendly and ordered right away. If in this area or passing by , this is definitely a place to grab a slice or a whole pie. The jnside is quaint and good for eating in if preferred but I took mine to go.

Pizza Heaven on earth! This is an absolute pizza lovers dream. They have it all. They even have different types of pizza crusts! They have a selection of crusts like Sicilian, New York, Grandma Style, Detroit, and traditional. The store has a counter display of pies to select from that are full of flavor with gigantic slices chock full of pizza toppings. Most people buy by the slice here and most slices are huge. You won't need more than just one but challenge yourself and try a few flavors, you can always take it home! Service has also improved greatly since its opening, many thanks to all the helpful staff there.

It's been awhile since I've stopped by and it's still on point! Still has that neighborhood pizza vibe. I got the wiseguy and my wife got the traditional. Both were really good. I get a side of hot honey and my wife gets the house ranch. The hot honey is my favorite! Great pie, great service, and you get bang for your buck!

I had been looking forward to trying Slice House in Folsom and made the 40+ minute drive to finally check it out. I visited around 3-4 PM and ordered the Drunken Italian Sicilian slice, which was featured as the slice of the day. Unfortunately, it was extremely hard and tasted stale. The crust was so tough it even cut my lip, which made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing. Since I had driven a long distance, I decided to give it another chance during the same visit and ordered a classic New York cheese slice. Unfortunately, this one also missed the mark. It did not reflect the texture or quality I would expect from a New York-style pizza. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of both slices, especially given the reputation and the distance I traveled. If you are looking for a slice that meets true New York standards, I recommend Marilyn's Pizza in Midtown Sacramento.

First time ordering from here... picked up. Parking seems like it can get crowded fast! Inside of building is a bit cozy. Really liked the interior.. had a classic brick feel. My order was ready when I walked in. Employees were very nice and efficient. Went home and had a few bites of the pizza and it was doggarn good. Can't wait for the Granite Bay location to open!

I might have found the answer to my "I can't decide what kind of pizza to get " issue- This is a pizza lover's heaven- you can choose to get Detroit style or NY style- and you can get SLICES! I know I know it's in the name, but I didn't realize slice House was a pizza place - maybe that's because I found it by accident- either way it was delicious, filling, and really fun to look at all the options and decide. The restaurant smell smells amazing of course! Pretty nice folks inside too. Absolutely give it a try and do it soon.

I've had Tony's in SF a couple times and they might have the history and ambiance, but the slices I've tried here are even better! Their crust is amazing and appreciate they always have a rotating vegetarian option

Pizza four ways?! How could a pie lover go wrong? BTW, PieLover isn't my middle name, but name changes are easy, and this joint has things figured out, so I may be talking to a state judge shortly! It's a small joint, lemme tell ya. Don't expect a cozy shared slice'a with you main squeeze, because half the seats are in close proximity to the ordering line coming in the front door. Didn't matter, though. Good pie, good beer, and it was close to a friend's place, which means we'll likely be coming back!

Portions were generous and pricing was decent. The Pad Thai looked great visually, but the noodles were overcooked and broken into smaller pieces, and it was missing peanuts. The flavor was very bland--I kept adding fish sauce to try to bring it to life. The sour seafood soup was good but also needed fish sauce. The Thai fried rice was begging for soy sauce or fish sauce as well. Something just felt off tonight. The Laos-style papaya salad wasn't pungent or spicy at all. I ordered medium spicy, but it came out mild. I had to add quite a bit of fish sauce and chilies to suit my taste. Overall, the service was good, but the food lacked flavor for me.

We ordered the boat noodle, which was super flavorful and really unique. We've never had anything like it before, so it definitely stood out. But the star of the show for me was their Pad Thai. I genuinely think it's the best Pad Thai I've had in Sacramento. I've been searching for a good one that isn't overly sweet, and this place absolutely nailed it. This is officially my go-to spot for Pad Thai from now on. The service during our first visit was good, and the ambience is really nice ,cozy, warm, and inviting. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because of our second visit. We arrived about an hour before their posted closing time, but as soon as we pulled up, the staff inside hurriedly switched the sign to "closed." It caught us off guard because it was still early, and we were really looking forward to eating there again. Not sure what happened that night, and maybe there was a reason, but it did feel a little disappointing. I have eaten here about 5 times so far. Things I observed. Pros - The food is good. Mostly Thai inspired but there is sometimes a variety. Every time things have tasted great. - They accept cash, credit, Apple pay, and even member direct billing to account. - In addition to cooked food there is a good variety of snacks, drinks, and quick bites. - The smoothies are very good. - Friday afternoons in the summer they have a happy hour with cheaper food and alcoholic drinks available. - There are some tables next to the cafe as well as outside to site and enjoy your meal. Cons - Menu isn't always consist. Sometimes there is a sign with the "typical" menu and sometimes you have to stand in line and ask what they have to find out. Of the 5 times I've ordered there have been changes to the menu every time. Either they were missing items or they decided to only serve a special random set of items. This makes it a bit difficult as a customer to know what is available to order. - The line can get a bit long at times and it's often not very quick to order or get your food. Overall I would recommend trying it out. I would give it 5 stars if there was a bit more consistency with the menu. The food itself though is tasty.

The salad came with small portions of hummus and tzatziki, but no pita or anything to pair them with, which I found odd--are people just eating those with a fork? The hostess was very enthusiastic about clearing our table and was attentive in that regard. Lily, our server, was kind and pleasant, and honestly, I felt sorry for her because she appeared to be the only waitress working. We had to ask for our check at the end of the meal, but Lily did comp our chicken wings because of the service issues, which was appreciated. Overall, the prompt seating was a good start, but the slow service, incorrect order, staggered food delivery, and small portions relative to the prices made for a disappointing dining experience. While Lily did her best, it seemed like the restaurant may have been understaffed.

I ordered the same soup only in a Bread Bowl and split with our toddler. Hubby ordered the Chicken and Poblano Bread Bowl. 5/5 stars from our family of 4! Best tomato bisque and sourdough bread bowl I ever had! This restaurant has been using the same sourdough starter recipe since 1995! 100% natural, fresh hand-rolled bread from their SF location! Great staff and clean location! Will be back to devour the rest of the menu! SYOY! :D

"Sounds good," I heard so across the parking lot was WCSD. In we go. Ordered two 6" BLT, no chips, cookies, or drinks, had water. Over $25.00. After waiting a fair amount of time, the order was ready (there was nobody in the place except three employees.) I brought the pie tins that they serve on to our table. They looked a little flat....odd. After I was seated, I lifted the top off of the sandwich, and where is the tomato? The sandwich was cut in half, so I looked at the other side, it looked the same. Upon further inspection there was ONE 2" diameter slice of tomato on each half of sandwich, approximately 1/8" thick. No kidding. The bacon was some very flat pre made stuff that was resembling aluminum foil in thickness. The lettuce was shreadded into long stripe and was wilty. I went back into the empty store and showed the sandwich maker my open sandwich and asked where the tomato was. She graciously stuck her lingers and thumb into my open sandwich, lifted the bacon and lettuce and proudly said "There it is!" (She did have gloves on. God only knows what she had handled with them on) A supervisor came up and asked what the problem was. I explained that there were no tomatoes on my sandwich. He explained that was how they make them. He offered additional tomato slices, I did not take them. The point is-That was the standard that they serve. It was just ridiculous. Not coming back.
