Being that the wife and I had to run errands today we figured we would grab some food while we were out. Well in driving to Carmichael we actually passed by this place and thought, maybe if we drive back home the same way we came in, we could possible eat here. Which is what actually ended up happening. So we pulled into the parking lot and my wife said "Look, they are really busy" Which to us is obviously a good sign that the food is great. We parked the car, walked in and we saw that this place had a Salad Bar. To our surprise, everything looked fresh. At most Pizza joints that have Salad Bars, they take care of it but not to keep things fresh like what we saw. Well we ordered 2 Salad bars and BBQ Chicken Pizza. What was kind of interesting is that on the Menu it said the ingredients were some kind of White Sauce. I thought White Sauce on a BBQ Chicken Pizza? Well it has to work then since they put it on the menu, so we ordered that. We walked to the Salad Bar started making our salads and then as we walked to our seat, we realized that they have a band with their Instruments on stage, but they weren't playing. Which is kind of cool, if you like Live Music while you're eating Pizza. Not really my thing, but they had several Tv's playing the Olympics. As we started eating our Salads, again Fresh ingredients, we started enjoying what we were eating we barely spoke to each other. We waited probably 5 - 10 minutes for our Pizza which came out piping Hot. As we began to eat our Pizza, to my surprise it was very delicious. The thing that was told to us by the waitress who was very friendly said that the Sald Bar was all you can eat. We at several slices of our pizza and let me tell you. 2 Salad Bars, 2 Drinks and a Medium Pizza for $40 was not a bad price. Thank you Dells Pizza for 2 people who wanted great Pizza and you delivered. We will most certainly be back again. As a matter of fact this is going to become our Staple Pizza joint from now on. read more

Great pizza, but no delivery service and limited hours of operation compared to competitors. Also, they either don't have a website, or it just doesn't come up on a Google search. Which is odd, in this day and age. Couldn't see a menu online anywhere. If they **do** have a website, then I take it back, but it's still not easy to find. As I said, good pizza, and good employees. I came in for a quick lunch in between work appointments and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the personal pizza with the salad bar and a soda. With tax and tip it ended up being under $25 which I thought was a good value. I had 1/2 the pizza remaining for leftovers and the salad bar was incredibly fresh and had a lot of toppings to choose from. I absolutely loved how the pizza's crust was crispy. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff friendly. I will definitely return. read more

Please is really cozy. The service is great, the servers are friendly. Self serve salad.. great pizza selections. Bathrooms available. They had a movie playing the entire time we ate and I felt so comfortable. Enjoyed the movie and food. Will be back. read more

This was an odd first visit to any restaurant. While ordering we asked for hot water and were told "We don't do that." I asked again and was told "We don't do that." There's an 8 year old birthday so noise is expected but many of the kids are climbing video machines and the front counter, and the parents and staff are doing nothing about it. I don't really leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at Del's this evening I wanted to share. I had never been to Del's but my gf lives in the area and recommended we go with her ten year old. The salad bar was incredible. The ingredients on our pizza were fresh and tasty, and the crust was full and flavorful. I am watching my diet and was worried about going but I was so pleased to have a fresh salad bar with amazing options but also had the California vegetarian switch out the white with red sauce and add chicken and it was fantastic. The portions are large too, my gf's daughter had a personal pepperoni and it looked much larger than 8", very generous. It was also affordable for what we got which says a lot these days. The staff were sweet and attentive. But I also really want to comment on the atmosphere. It reminds me of the places I grew up in playing childhood sports. I didn't think non-corporate/family places like this were still around. I love the music vibe in there and we are coming back for the band on June 18. Thanks Del's read more

I'm extremely frustrated with Dels Pizza. Their posted hours say they open at noon and close at 8, but every single time I've tried to go, they're closed well past noon. I even called once and was told they wouldn't be opening until 2 PM. Fine I gave them another chance a few weeks later and showed up after 2, thinking that was their actual opening time. Nope. Still closed. I called again and this time they said they wouldn't be opening until 4 PM. At that point, it's just ridiculous. It feels completely unprofessional to advertise one set of hours and then constantly open whenever they feel like it. It's a waste of time, a waste of gas, and honestly just disappointing. If you can't stick to your own business hours, at least update them so customers aren't left guessing. read more

Have been here a few times in the past, just looking for good pizza. Seems like this area should have some right? Well, most are just ok. I got a California vegetarian and it was ok. It was to go and when I got home the center of the box was pretty soggy. Some of the cardboard came up when I took out a slice. Ugh. I added a little salt for flavor but should I have to? Very friendly staff, super helpful and patient and willing to explain unclear things and answer questions. Pizza is really good and not too pricey. There's a nice outdoor seating area that's a little roomier than the indoor. Salad bar is fresh and well stocked with good stuff if you're into that type of thing. Disappointed...we've ordered take out a couple times in the past with good results, however, last night's order (Oct 4th) California Veggie the pizza was burnt on the bottom and was chewy and had a burnt taste. I called Del's and asked to speak to the manager, but was told none was available....understandably it was a Friday night and busy. As of Sunday, no one has returned my call to explain what may have happened. If we had ordered the pizza at the restaurant instead of take out I would have sent it back as uneatable. Unfortunately, we didn't know it was burnt until I got it home...disappointed!! We'll try again in the future - when I picked up the pizza I should have looked at the bottom, there were signs of black burned dough - for me, lesson learned. read more

Great customer service & food !!! Came here with family, this was our first time. The customer service was impressive, all very nice, and went above and beyond. We ordered a large half " The Works" and half " California Vegetarian", the pizza looked and tasted amazing. It was loaded with toppings !!! We also ordered the spaghetti, which came with garlic bread and a side salad. The spaghetti was so delicious and a very generous portion. We got a salad bar, the plates are bigger than I have seen at other salad bars, and the salad bar was clean and well stocked. For all of this food and 2 drinks our total was only $62.38, which was really a decent price in my opinion. Our family we were with ordered a medium pepperoni, and it also looked delicious and was covered in pepperoni. I would definitely come back here, we had a great dinner. read more

Been ordering from this place for years. I usually get a half and half and have never been charged extra for it. Today I was charged an additional $10 fee in addition to the original price. Nowhere on their menu does it say this is an extra fee nor had we ever been charged for this in the 3 years we've eaten here. The owner got super political and said it was because his prices went up and I said he cant list a price then add undisclosed fees to the price. He started yelling and snatched the receipt from my hand, called me several nasty political names, then threw a voided receipt at me and added several other poor choices of language. I assume the gentleman is under some financial stress but that doesn't excuse treating any customer so poorly for asking why they were being charged 30% more than the advertised price. read more

The vibe here is amazing. Every now and then they host live music, so I'd recommend coming in for that. Now as far as the pizza goes.. it's very traditional when it comes to that classic Californian style. But that I mean, it has the same consistency of let's say Round Table when it comes to the dough and sauce, but only the ingredients are higher quality and it's a local shop, so the quality is higher. The owner loves his shop and puts love into each and every pie. You can tell it's a real friendly vibe when it comes to the workers. The customer service was amazing. The staff greeted us and they were friendly and very attentive. The interior is light and bright with a choice of roomy booths or long tables. My husband ordered a 10" pizza and the salad bar for me. The all you can eat salad bar had great choices and everything looked very fresh. The thousand Island dressing was delicious. I really enjoyed my salad. The pizza arrived. It was a thin crust Red Voodoo with white sauce, jalepenos, red onion, pepperoni, bacon and, linguica. I decided to try a piece and it was very, very good. I just had a leftover piece for today's lunch (reheated on a cast iron skillet on low and covered with a lid). Maybe I really do like pizza. read more

Our family went to Del's on Saturday night. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the price to feed our family of 5 was under $50. Not bad at all, and we even had some left over pizza. We were quoted about 25-30 mins but they were done a lot faster by the time we got there. They were about to close so we didn't want to be those people. But Great pizza!
