His inventory includes many desirable European cars (Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Range Rover, etc.) at all different price points as well as some unique/exotic and hard to find items (Acura NSX, Shelby GT500 convertible, Alfa Romeo...), all of which are in excellent condition. I got a very fair deal on the car I purchased and Walter made it easy for me to trade my old car towards the new one. He was honest, up front and very generous about what he could offer for my trade and at no time did I feel any pressure to buy something immediately or beyond my budget. It's easy to see why he has so many repeat customers from the extended Mass, Maine and NH community, myself included. I realize that my review is starting to sound like a commercial ;-) but I truly feel like he is one of the "nice guys" and I highly recommend that you see him if you're in the market for a very fair deal on a quality vehicle. And one more point: Victory's mechanic (Peter?) goes through each of the cars and is extremely meticulous about making sure what goes out on the lot for sale is mechanically sound, safe and roadworthy. In fact, I noticed one of my tailpipes was slightly off-center with the other side about a month after I bought the car. I brought it in, they put it right up on the lift and made the adjustment while I waited. I'm sure that I was the only one who would have noticed but they clearly wanted me to be happy and made sure it was perfect. I will be purchasing another car from him in the next week or two and look forward to many other transactions with Victory Park!!!

During that visit, I found the staff to be rude, dismissive, and at times condescending. I decided to keep looking elsewhere. Recently, I drove by and noticed they still had the G63s on the lot, so I called simply to ask the asking price. The information displayed on the vehicle only showed the original window sticker and MSRP from when the vehicle was sold new, not the current selling price. I greeted the person on the phone by saying "Good morning" three separate times and never received a greeting in return. Instead of answering a simple question from a legitimate customer, the call was ended before I could even get the price. I am a business owner myself, and I understand the importance of treating every customer with respect. You never know who is ready to buy a vehicle, and basic courtesy costs nothing. I wasn't looking for special treatment--just the asking price and a professional conversation. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Because of the way I was treated both in person and over the phone, I will be purchasing my G-Wagon elsewhere.

Service department (claimed to) have performed an unasked-for "multi-point inspection" while my…read moreRidgeline was in for a battery replacement, and, I was informed, my rear brakes and rotors were in dire need of immediate replacement at a cost of $778.31. Instead of authorizing that repair I returned to Kittery AutoWorks, the shop that had performed exactly that service 6,000 miles ago (for $200 less) and asked them to inspect the brake system to see whether there was some mechanical flaw that could cause the pads to wear out so quickly. The result? As I suspected, pads and rotors are in perfect condition, "barely worn, nothing needs work". This makes the second, and final bad experience with this dealer's service department, and I will certainly never go there again for either service, nor for the purchase of a new car: if incompetents and crooks are tolerated in the mechanics' bays and behind the service desk, there are likely similar types to be found on the showroom floor.

An hour before it was supposed to be sent up there, they decided that they would not send it to the garage, as they would just "tear it apart" over there, and it would be a waste of their time. When I asked if I could take it to a different mechanic, they REFUSED, and told me that if their 30-day warrantee and an inspection sticker wasn't good enough, then they would not sell it to me. At first it was that particular garage, but when I asked about going to another, the salesman said they were not going to let it go anywhere at all. And, nothing I said to the salesman could convince them otherwise, to the point where he told me "Look, I don't want to keep going around in circles and get aggravated with you - it isn't going to happen." Seeing other reviews here saying "Have your mechanic check out any car you want to buy here" or that they are a "rip-off", only makes it more clear to me that this is not a dealership to do business with.
