I contacted a number of body shops and, sight unseen, they all said repairs would be at least 2k! I called Rouleu's in downtown Somersworth and they told me bring it in and they would look at it. Long story short, they did the body work and undercoating plus a front brake job and all new brake lines for less than 2k. We're glad we found them.

Just wondering if it's just Tri-City, but of the 3 Subaru's I've owned the dealers always washed the car (or gave you a voucher for a wash) and vacuumed the car. I was disappointed that it washed washed or vacuumed When I took delivery of my car in April it was not washed or vacuumed of pet hair (my car was a CPO dealer loaner...still don't know why pet hair was in it‍).

I take it to a dealer to get it fixed and they say,"we noticed your sticker is brand new, who put it on because the tires are not passable, nor are the breaks, this car should not have a sticker we can not let you drive it home"... The paperwork handling is absolutely ridiculous if you are put on an intransit plate from them to New York. Why would registration / titling paperwork on their end be sent to Beacon Auto Tag in Williamstown, New Jersey ??? Goes from Vermont to New Jersey to New York (some private DMV as Beacon says) then finally to the customer. It should not take over 6 weeks for the paperwork to process unless the so-called title clerk did her job correctly; what happened to the TC doing the job; instead of sending paperwork to some fly-by-night company like BEACON AUTO TAG. Doesn't the dealerships know they are losing so much money !!! After the full deluxe treatment, it almost looked brand new. I was really asking "how is this possible?" over and over. This service easily added thousands of dollars to the value of the car. The previous owner should have taken it to Jamie before selling it. Under the hood of the 2008 vehicle was one of the dirtiest I had ever seen in my life. It almost made me hesitate to buy the vehicle. But after Jamie's under-hood treatment.... seriously, it's ready to have it's hood open a car show. Such incredible attention to detail, and such professionalism. His shop is also immaculate. Jamie committed one unforgivable act, however: he forgot to take BEFORE photos and videos of the car! :-) I wish I could post them here, because you wouldn't believe your eyes either.

They were wanting me to finance the car, this is the only way to get their online prices. After stating I was wanting to purchase outright, they kept wanting the financing. I was hoping to do some dealing, but there was no budging. So I left and continued on shopping. My salesman did try to get his upper to work with me in the days following, but no luck. I would browse there again in the future. But read their fine print. Their online prices are only honored if you finance. Every other dealership I've been to does not do this, and instead goes by the price listed on their website, financing or outright purchasing.

He scolded me for even mentioning needing more time and acted like I owed them a huge favor because they "took $3,000 off the price, why would you need to talk about it with your boyfriend, is he the one making the payments?" They kept interrogating me and refused to listen or respect my request. I replied holding back tears "I just want to think about it and call you tomorrow" I was clearly about to cry so he proceeded to bring over the owner so he could treat me even more poorly! He tells me" no offense, but this is the only car on the entire lot you can afford." Told me if I left without the car that was it and the deal was only good right now. Told me if I needed to I could just put some money down now and bring the rest in a couple weeks which I've never heard of such a thing, even said I could just take the car home for the night to show my boyfriend without purchasing it..!? Felt very shady. Obviously very desperate to get rid of the car for some reason. He spoke over me, wouldn't let me get a word in at all, and automatically assumed I was going to talk badly about his business (hmm, that must happen often if that's where your mind automatically goes. he clearly knew he was mistreating me) Also, I NEVER said that, maybe if he let me talk he would have known what I was trying to say! Well, now I sure am going to talk bad about it! I got up, said "Im leaving. You guys are being incredibly rude." and left the dealership in tears because I was so angry with how disrespectful I was being treated. As I was leaving the owner says smugly "have a great night!" Really? You made me so mad that I'm in tears, and that's what you have to say? there was no way I was giving them my business after treating me like this. Honestly, I would gladly pay MORE money for a vehicle at a place where I'm treated with respect. Hopefully they learn from this, I doubt it though considering all their other similar bad reviews. Lesson learned for me at least. Please, go anywhere else.
