I'm assuming their tasty choices was why it was a fan favorite. Their menu included various appetizers, Burgers, Wraps and Chicken Strips. They were really good about handling the crowd. They were mindful of my order. They told me it would be a few minutes. Also, they knew where I was standing so, they can hand my order to me. It was ready in a few with a minimal wait despite the crowd. I decided to order Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. They were good. Cheese Sticks were crisp and plump with the fullness of cheese but, were a little tasteless. They were sprinkled with Parmesan cheese on top which gave it a nice finish. I don't eat my cheese sticks like that so, I was concerned about the taste. However, it did not make a difference in the taste. Marina Sauce had an interesting taste. Almost undiscribeable. I didn't even want to take a second dip. Lol. Payment can be made by card. Swipe or insert chip. Which ever one you have, they will accept it. Overall, I would recommend this food truck. Don't let one bad review stop you from trying their food. Hopefully, you won't be disappointed with their popular menu items, prices and friendly service.

I primarily went with them because their prices were reasonable. To my delight (really everyone's delight), it turned out to be an excellent decision. I'll start with food. Both the meats and sides were so good. On top of the taste, the quality and presentation of the food was top notch. Everyone loved everything and we received many inquiries on the caterer. I ordered: - brisket - sausage - pulled pork - string beans - Mac and cheese - baked beans Service I'll start by saying that I was only able to get them to prepare the food since they'd already committed to servicing a major pickleball tournament. Basically, this meant that I had to pick it up from them after they worked thru the night to prepare it. This wasn't a problem for me since they were nice enough to squeeze me in. Throughout the process, I was really impressed with how responsive, helpful, friendly, down to earth, and reassuring Pam (primary contact) was as I had many questions and concerns along way. I had never coordinated catering before and didn't know anything about them. Conclusion I consider Lettuce Turnip to be somewhat of an upstart since I believe they've only been officially in business less than 2 years. All in all, I really enjoyed working with Pam, I loved their food, and they're the kind of business I like to support. They're certainly top of my list next time I wanna do an event with BBQ. I see great things in their future. Thanks so much, Pam! You made me look good!!

RJH has been my list of places to visit since it opened 2 years ago. I was in Texas for work when I…read moreheard it was opening but left before I could try it. So how good was RJH?? Worth the flight from NY to San Antonio then the 4.5 hour drive from San Antonio there! And yes! The reason for the trip WAS RJH! My friend and I went in Monday around 6:30pm. We were greeted immediately as we walked in and given the option of seating. It was pretty empty with the exception of one other person at the bar and some people coming in for takeout. It's a really big place and it's beautiful in here. LOVE the big Bob Marley/Jamaican flag mural in the back that's also visible from outside. The service was really good. Everything came out quickly and was hot and fresh! We also chatted it up with the owner Adrian who is amazing! Drinks: we went with the rum punch and stuck with it. We had 3-4 rounds and it def punched us at the end of the night! Lol it's the perfect balance of strong and tasty. Food: we started with the Escovitch and RJH Honey BBQ Jerk wings. The Escovitch was soo bomb! I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce but I did try those and will say it was a good balance and the BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering. For entrees we had the "tour of Jamaica" and the Escovitch whole red snapper. The tour of Jamaica is a great idea because it allows you to sample the oxtail, curry goat, and jerk chicken without having to purchase 3 different meals. It's also served with white rice or rice and peas, festival, and steamed cabbage. The oxtails were the star of the tour! It was perfectly seasoned and tender, and came right off the bone! The goat was really good too. I didn't try the jerk chicken. The snapper was my entree and the only thing that was left on my plate were the bones and the lime garnish! It was soo good! I ate the head and everything else! We fully enjoyed our food and dining experience. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend RJH for any occasion. They also have a happy hour Monday-Friday 3-7pm.

The curry chicken had decent flavor but there were so much bones it was hard to eat. The red beans and rice was not very seasoned, if at all. The beef patty was good though!! The vibe is cool, the service was good, but for the cost, I don't know if I would try this spot again
