The guy was friendly, patient, and we enjoyed every bite. I feel like food trucks are unique because you can't judge them on ambiance as much as you can on the quality of the food, quality of the service, and quality of the experience. I got all of that here, the portion sizes were pretty big so 20 bucks got us 2 PACKED plates of Lamb Over Rice, and 2 Arizona cans of ice tea. It was enough food to eat and then eat again later. The food was fresh, I even asked the guy for a platter with no vegetables which he cleaned the entire grill to make for me. Gigi halal has expanded my palate for food other than Perogis and kielbasa. The chicken over rice is always my go-to. I will say the flavor always changes every time I have ordered it but I won't complain (I like to be kept on my toes). Platters come with a lot of food and pita bread. The chicken is so juicy and soft. However, I have to admit it's not as salty or flavorful as some of the other trucks but it tastes a bit healthier to me because of that. read more

I order 4 entrees from this location every week sometimes every other week through grubhub. The food is tasty and it's a good size portion. Today as usual I ordered my 4 items. I realized when I came inside that half the order was missing. I immediately called the driver and he rudely told me to call the restaurant, so I did. I spoke to someone about the issue and he put on the Boss who proceeded to tell me that he would give me the food but I had to drive over to pick it up. I was very polite in explaining that it wasn't my responsibility to pick up the food if they made the mistake with the order. The Boss then proceeded to pretend as if he didn't hear me then hung up. I called again and no one was answering. I called again and he said he could send someone over in 2 hours. I refused. At this point I was angry because that is not good customer service. I proceeded to go into the app and received a refund for the missing items. Mins later I received a phone call from the Boss stating that they'd someone over with the missing items to which I refused. I will never order from there again as they handled the situation poorly. It's unfortunate because I love the food but there are other places. I expected better service than what I received and it was too late when they tried to correct it. Saw a long line during our visit. I got chicken and rice from DJURA truck few blocks down and I got one from this one too. Wanted to compare the difference. I must say they're both very different in their own ways. And give both of them the same ratings. This truck at exchange place, Gigis we ordered chicken and rice. Chicken is not too marinated but overall has that Mediterranean taste that anyone would be able to eat. Not too overly seasoned. Rice is good too! They charge you $7 but the portion is really small compared to other trucks in the area. The food was good and the salad was good too but they really need to give more food for the money people are paying. They give less chicken too compared to other trucks. Also don't give you free soda or water. The djura truck gives you more food and veggies and over all has better portion and more tastier rice. read more
