I want to preface this review by saying that I am a native Long islander who grew up near NYC and was raised on the best of the best Italian food. I am nit-picky and very pretentious when it comes to food, especially Italian food. Italian Feast was something spectacular and deserves nothing less than five stars. This place was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. In walks in three burly tattooed dudes and a chick in dirty combat boots (me). We were camping from our spot 30 minutes away and we all looked pretty rough. Our waitress was super sweet and treated us as if we were locals that just waltzed in every day. This is something special because many times we come into towns as outsiders and are treated as such, but this waitress was so sweet and friendly and fun. She gave us genuine warmth and didn't treat us like aliens from another plant. I wish i remembered her name because she deserves a shoutout ! The food was incredible. The portions were enormous. We had a pizza and onion petals as an appetizer for four and still had plenty to wrap and take home. My boyfriend ordered the chicken riggies and was blown away. I tried some too and they were spicy enough and perfect. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it was amazing . The garlic knots were beyond our expectorations too. Idk I loved this place so much and hope to return time and time again.

"Pizza" regionally, the sauce is on top, which is not my preference but I would have been able to adapt if the individual components were good, but the sauce tasted like ketchup, the cheese was cold and gluey, and the crust was flavorless and dry. We also ordered spaghetti with light butter for a child, light butter should not be congealed at the bottom of the bowl- it's hard to mess up pasta & butter but this place did.. lastly we ordered chicken fingers & fries, also a child's meal but the fryer has been used for fish fries - so everything tastes fishy. FEAST WE DID NOT..

Good place to eat some pasta. Spacious and nice atmosphere. Was surprised that it wasn't busy at Friday night. May be just because they have only 4 beers on tap :) Minus: seems like they use marinara sauce for all pastas they make, so it's better to mention it before you order. Wings are on very cheap price, a little bit greasy though.

I've been here on two different occasions and I've gotten the same thing twice, the chicken riggies. I can make my own chicken riggies at home, but because they're so time consuming, I like to order them out at different restaurants to see how mine compare. The riggies here were great. They had a lot of yummy things in them and weren't skimpy like most places. The portion was great as well and I end up taking some home. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because when I ordered dessert, they brought out this very small limp looking piece of carrot cake. They could do better than that for the price.

As we sit patiently in the back of the restaurant and overhear the compliments of neighboring patrons our anticipation builds. Our table is set with real china and silverware. The absence of music allows us to listen in on the friendly banter emanating from the kitchen where our pizza is incubating. It's been a year since our last team pizza assessments upstate and we are on edge with anticipation. My team mates are critical of the decor. I think they're just hungry. Two Xmas trees completely trimmed? I'm satisfied with that effort. Pizza time. Sauce on the top. Surprising. Does the sauce keep the cheese warm or vice versa? Crunchy crust yum. Excellent!

Very good food for a small town restaurant. It is incredibly cheap, extremely friendly and is an overall relaxing time. If you're in the area for the Baseball Hall of Fame like us, or just passing through, stop in for a hefty meal.

Food was awful and tasted as if it were preciously frozen. It was inedible. My husband and I spent $40 for food we threw away.

During Xmas month, they serve a drink called Tom and Jerry, which consists of eggnog batter, Rum, and Brandy. That drink was delicious. I had the Seafood Linguine, and that was pretty good, but I've had better. I would order something else on the menu next time. My coworker ordered a Delmonico steak, and it came with a baked potato. She said the steak was cooked right and very tender. All dinners came with roasted peppers, bread, and salad. The salad was mediocre (Iceberg lettuce, black olives, onions, tomatoes). In my opinion, I do think their dishes are overpriced compared to other good Italian restaurants in the area. The service was good. If you're in a hurry, it is not the place for you because our food took an hour or longer to come out. They have a big dining area and a tiny bar area. It is cute with the Xmas decorations, but overall, I think they should update their dining areas. They also should have a well-lit parking lot for safety reasons.

This is regarding the owner's new Ristorante Maya on Seneca Turnpike in New Hartford. It was…read morerecommended we make reservations so we did for a Thursday evening. Food is quite good, but I think they are still working out a lot of kinks in managing the dining room. We arrived early but waited to go in until reservation time. Parking was not available so another patron had parked on the grass and we parked next to them. Once winter arrives, I think ppl will end up have to park down Seneca Turnpike and walk back. The paved area isn't sufficient for a full dining room. It is a very modest bar, and a small dining room. There were ppl in front of us who were walk-ins. They mentioned one staff member told them it would be 20 minutes and another said two hours for walk-in. We figured it wouldn't be long for our 2 person reservation. Hmmm. I don't think anyone in particular is greeting patrons or managing reservations. The wait staff seemed to be pitching in as they could. The walk-ins (in front of us in line) were seated at a 2 person booth 20 minutes after our reservation. We objected as the other part of my party had been seated on a Saturday evening, very close to reservation time. The staff member said the walk-ins were waiting longer than those with reservations. As they should. We were seated after an hour past reservation time. Larger parties were seated on time after us, they had reservations 30 min after ours. Those tables had previously been pushed together for a party earlier, and staff didn't separate them for smaller parties that had earlier reservations. We were seated at a small table in front of the kitchen door. Food was quite good. We ordered wine as we arrived to the table as well as the meatball appetizer. Eventually someone stopped with menus. We ordered when someone else stopped at the table. About 50 min later, the entrees arrived. We did get our water glasses refilled. I had ordered haddock and it was fresh and very good. My friend ordered a fresh pasta dish, which was good, although not exactly as they ordered it. During our last hour there, (the owner) Christian Maya's father stopped to speak to us and he had checked in with us a couple times after the entrees were delivered. We really appreciated that attentiveness. So I took a star off for the reservation issues. I took a star off for gaps in service. I'm sure they will be able to improve on these things. For now, I recommend that you wait to go there unless you don't mind a considerable wait for a reservation.
