Just a small local diner and deli but worth the visit. Very clean, friendly staff and cooked to order homemade food that was delicious. You can tell they work with fresh ingredients, and cook to order, not frozen. I had a gyro, delicious, my husband had the soup of the day, beef barley, full of veggies and cubes of beef. Parking across the street was easy enough! When we walked in, it wasn't clear whether it was seat yourself or if we would be seated. We asked at the counter, which we ended up finding a seat. There was a specials board upon walking in. This place gave me small town diner vibes. Service was great, our server was attentive to touch base with us and getting food and drinks was quick. The lemonade was very good! I got the lift lock sandwich which came cut into quarters and came with chips. I also ordered a side of Mac salad. Stopped in for breakfast based on a recommendation from a friend. Nice clean place, with friendly waitresses who were attentive and a took our order quickly. Place was extremely busy but we received our order in a timely fashion. The food was good and delivered as ordered. The prices were great with a varied menu selection for both breakfast and lunch. The food was amazing at Ann Street. I had the Philly cheese steak with home fries. The entire meal was awesome. The home fries did not need ketchup to eat and were cooked perfectly. The service was amazing. The restaurant was busy, but didn't take long to get our food. It is a diner type place and nice decor. What a lovely little local restaurant. We were staying in the hotel across the tracks and wanted to get out for a little lunch and stopped here. Little Falls is a small town with a lot.of character. It's a bright cheerful restaurant with a group of server whoo always have a smile and very helpful. Most of us had simple item.. sandwiches, burgers and salads. All good and extremely reasonably pried. I had a burger which was (a) cooked the way I asked for it, and (b) extremely tasty. I am sure that I'll be up that way more times in the futures and will definitely make them a stop if I'm nearby. read more

Pretty much what I expected. Stopped here while in town for a charcuterie event. Low prices, friendly service, & decent food. We ordered traditional breakfast. Only thing that maybe slightly bugged me was I couldn't tell if they used butter or margarine on the toast. Other reviewers mentioned the plastic chairs. The chairs were super unremarkable -- we can't even remember what they were like which is probably exactly what you want from a chair. Going back tomorrow for the beef stew! read more

Definitely not without charm, this diner has the small town feel you might expect. I loved the menu and the prices made me smile too. The only thing that might (and I do mean MIGHT) prevent me from going back for breakfast specifically is the lack of fresh fruit. I just really like fresh fruit with my breakfast, but that's just me. There was a "Fresh Seasonal Fruit" item listed on the menu, but when I ordered that I was politely informed "She doesn't do that anymore." I guess the cook only does fresh seasonal fruit in the summer? I think I would definitely try this diner again for lunch, all of the specials looked great listed on the dry-erase specials board. read more

Quiet lovely little place to have lunch. We enjoy sitting out on the screened in patio, and were even accommodated on a chilly rainy day when we made the trip to Little Falls for my birthday. Waitresses are wonderful, and service is quick. We've just had sandwiches and chips, but are happy with the quality. The flavor is great, and it's so nice to be outside on the patio listening to the water of the canal and seeing the old stone and brick buildings all around the deli. Prices are low and right on target for this quiet little place. Wish it wasn't so far away, we would have lunch here more often! read more

Our party of five was immediately seated. Weekly specials were offered on a white erase board: Portobello sandwich, chicken salad, soup of the day, etc. The small tossed salad was made of iceberg lettuce with very few carrots and tomatoes. The Mediterranean sandwich with turkey lunch meat, tomato slices, iceberg lettuce and seasoned mayonnaise was sub-par. The bread wasn't fresh. The side was few wave chips. The cranberry juice was served with 2/3 ice. The decor was simple: white plastic table and chairs. The service was standard. It was easy to park on the street. read more

I stopped by this restaurant near the Canal Place section of Little Falls, excepting more of a deli with a number of take out foods, but instead, I found a breakfast and lunch cafe. While most of the dining patrons appeared to be dining on various pancakes or omelets, I decided to have a bowl of chili. Their chili is not spicy, but very hearty, and features a mix of beans, meat, green peppers and onions. Pepper jack cheese is optional. Well the food here was simply unexpectedly amazing. I got their signature turkey sandwich, the waitress told me they sell a ton of them, and for good reason! It was so soft and yummy and perfect and I'm not a huge turkey sandwich guy. After a few hours of antique shopping and walking around this place hit the spot. Needed a place for a quick breakfast. Ambiance is absent. Sitting in white plastic outdoor chairs and tables yet you are inside. Place was crowded with one wait person and one cook. Tables had dirty dishes on them. We ordered, got my coffee and it was refilled when I drank a couples sips then that was it. We both had breakfast sandwiches an order of potatoes which came burned. The wait person did ask if they were too well done and my sister likes them crispy so she said they were Ok. One taste and I said the whole thing tasted burned. We put them aside and was going to ask for another order but we never got a chance. I don't blame the wait person. She was doing the best she could do being slammed. I blame management. It's a Saturday morning over a holiday weekend. Of course it's going to be busy. You are the only place in town. The sandwiches were just ok. read more

One of the worse restaurants in little falls, and there are a few. They have a great location. But who ever told them they could cook. My husband ordered a bowl of beef stew and a chicken cordon blu. I had a philly cheese steak and home fries. The beef stew was more like a beef soup. It was a broth. The broth wasn't unpleasant, but it was by no means a stew. The garlic bread was a bread salt lick with a little too much garlic salt. The cordon blu sandwich was boring. No taste. The home fries came out burnt. And I mean with black carbon stuck on it. They had been made a different day and we're not even all the way heated through. Non edible. The philly steak was some sort of thin meat that had been frozen and opened from a package. The veggies were ok. No flavor but not burned. There was no condiments on the sandwich. And a questionable, probably processed cheese was melted on the top. The only thing good that we had were root beers and the chips from a package were fresh. I doubt these people read their reviews or they would have seen the potato complaint prior to mine. It will teach me to read about my next restaurant on yelp before I dine. I wish I could have given them a minus. It would have been -5 don't bother. read more

Just had my first trip here and was pleasantly surprised. First off, ignore the $$$, this place is definitely just one dollar sign, seeing as how everything on the menu is under 6 bucks. Came for lunch, and the menu had plenty of variety. Too bad they don't do French fries (crinkle cut chips come standard with most sandwiches) but not a big deal. Service was prompt and friendly, seating was plentiful. Decor is a bit minimalist but appropriate. Had the Reuben and the BF had a tuna melt which were both excellent.
