On the day of rental, 9 bicycles and 2 tricycles were delivered because they didnt have enough tricycles. Not a single one was fully functional and half of them were broken and then repaired in dangerous ways. Out of these: - One bicycles pedal came off within an hour and was unfixable. had to walk back a mile. - One bicycles front fork was "repaired" but they welded it into place BACKWARDS causing it to violently change directions over bumps or when turning. It took several people eating asphalt before we realized it wasnt us. - Four bicycles tires would only stay inflated for a couple hours at a time - One tricycle frame was twisted into a permanent slight right turn and turning to the left would make the entire thing tip over and try to throw you off to the right. which it did. - The other tricycles basket was broken and unusable - Two chains were so rusted and deformed that they would constantly derail mid ride - Not a single bike had functional gears. the good ones had one functional high gear and one functional low gear. The rest were either permanently too hard to pedal or too easy. Everything has signs of shoddy repairs. Dont trust these people their bikes will get you hurt.

That meant I needed to cancel my sign back home, but quickly looked in similar companies in South Florida. It turns out bday yard signs are as popular down here and I found event YardCard here on Yelp. There weren't any reviews (happy to be their 1st), but I booked it and hoped for the best. The total (with tax) came to $112, which is on par with bday yard signs in Chicagoland. The day before they followed up with me on my exact address and asked that we put their name in with our guard gate so there wouldn't be any issues when they set it up at 6am. We called it in and I looked forward to the bday boy waking up to a happy bday sign. Unfortunately, I woke up that morning to an issue with the person who sets up the signs not being able to get thru the guard gate because somehow they had her wrong name. They mean biz at these guard gates! Fortunately, she was flexible and came back later on after setting up another one. In the meantime, while they were setting it up we did a bday scavenger hunt where my son searched for his presents. At the end I was so excited to show him his dinosaur themed bday sign. It was the perfect decor for his Florida bday. And the next morning they came to take it down and no issues at the guard gate this time (phew). Since we have all winter bdays in my house there's a chance we could be back to celebrate more future bdays in sunny Florida so thrilled to know of this company for bday signs.

With no updates and my event at risk, I was forced to hire another company and pay in full. South Party Rental finally showed up at noon on the day of the event, which was two days after the scheduled delivery and after I had already secured replacements. This is a clear breach of contract and highly unprofessional. I do not recommend this company. I am currently waiting for a refund!

Miraculously she said she could do the job even with short notice. We discussed design ideas and colors. I then sent her photos of the party room. The day of the party Roza and her partner arrived 4 hours before party time and installed the most stunning balloon decorations and backdrop. After the party they came back and collected everything. We had to scramble on the day of the event to borrow chairs from friends. When I raised the issue, the response was dismissive. After several emails, they admitted they had gone through their inventory but still offered nothing for the unusable chairs. When I requested a discount for a future event, I was told to inspect every chair myself at pick-up and that 'no discount would be given.' How can they completely dismiss me after I was willing to give them another chance? As a retired hospitality professional, in Palm Beach, I find this level of customer service unacceptable.
