Ever see someone screw up tempura shrimp? Well you're in luck. The way they fry the bejesus out of the shrimp will convince you they hate shrimp. This is a local place we have not tried until tonight - not sure why except it is small and sort of hidden amount the buildings. Sweet and sour sauce is great and the egg rolls are delicious for a Teriyaki place. The ambiance is nothing to brag about. The workers - I believe the owner - were what I call Asian Friendly. None of that crap some other competing teriyaki joints might put in the dish as fillers, like water chestnuts. When I first moved up here my housemate and I went to this place on different occasions and agreed that the food was horrible. The only reason I write a review now is because I was walking by the store and I saw a box of meat in front of the door which I thought was a bit odd, I stood there staring at it wondering how long that box of meat had been there and if anyone was around to claim it when all of a sudden I started to get yelled at by the owner who was in the parking lot in his car. I didn't touch the damn thing but really? It is a busy area with the grocery store right next to it and yea you really should not leave raw food outside like that, especially when it's late morning or later when people can walk by.
