The pork belly bao was absolutely delicious, though the ramen seemed a little bland . Though that may just be how ramen is and I'm just accustomed to the instant kind. Came for lunch with friends. Overall it was alright for the price I have had better. The poor server had way too many tables at one time my drink was forgotten and it took forever to get. The place is nicely decorated and clean. The service overall was friendly but wasn't fantastic. I think our server could have been more engaging had she not been overwhelmed with so many tables sat almost all about the same time. The rolls are large we got a few to share the Unagi was my favorite. The Karaage was bland and not very crispy. The lobster roll was also good the rice was a bit over cooked. All I can say is, WOW. From the time we walked though the door until we left, the entire experience was 5 star. We wre seated promptly and given water immediately along with a large menu. The menu is extensive with so many great choices. Our waitress, Katie, was so helpful in guiding us through the menu. We started with some yummi miso soup followed by the rest. We ordered a Dragon Roll and and, I have to say, the Ultimate Dragon topped with caviar is the best I've ever had. The regular Bento Box is massive containing, sushi, sashimi, salad, teriyaki beef, salad, tempura, and a scoop of rice. The Bibimbab was delivered cooking in a castiron bowl and it was spectacular as well. I plan on visiting again very soon. I was impressed. Well done KoiSushi. read more

Complete disaster. Business traveler here staying down the block and the hotel recommended this place because ... "It's close." We should have asked if it was any GOOD but we didn't... we just headed out. We were seated immediately... and waited at least 15 mins before we had to get up and ask for service. Then someone appeared (from nowhere) with waters... then disappeared for another 10 mins. He was nice, polite... but the place wasn't too busy so where was he going? Ordered alcohol, appetizers and 2 rolls. Brussel sprouts were not at all "crispy" - barely cooked - and sauce was just ... oddly spicy - not at all as advertised. Also got the shishito peppers which looked steamed - not grilled... so a huge disappointment. They don't need weird heavy sauces if they're (1) fresh, and (2) grilled. The California Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were next and both were so salty that we couldn't finish them. They were .. so bad! Wait, isn't this supposed to be a sushi place? How could all 4 plates be so terrible? I am back in my hotel room now pounding Tums and hoping I can make it through the night alive. The ambiance? Well, they were putting all of the chairs up WHILE we were still eating and frankly, I never even finished my (only) drink. It was 9pm and the entire staff was staring at us to leave... Exceptional service for our private party. We were in the back room. They had two long tables for our group which worked fine for our shared sushi. We had a round of appetizers to share, followed by multiple sushi rolls to share. Our server handled both tables seamlessly. He took empty plates and refilled drinks without disrupting the flow of our discussion. We were able to use their TV for our speaker and discussion. All the food was fantastic. We had gyoza, fried brussels sprouts, edamame, crystal shrimp for appetizers. We then got an assortment of specialty rolls to pass around the table. The killer salmon roll comes out on fire which is a fun experience! All the fish was fresh, the rolls were a good size for the price, and everyone left happy and stuffed. this place is always busy! i'd recommend making reservations if you can. i've always heard good things about this place and finally made it in. there is plenty types of seating to be good for a group, friends, work lunch, or a date night. we got the yakisoba noodles, wagyu sliders, hamachi carpaccio, and hirame nigiri. i also asked the chef if they had engawa which he managed to shave off a few pieces from the hirame so that was real nice of him! the hamachi carpaccio was delicious and wagyu sliders were a must get! the yakisoba was overpriced to me, but that's just because i know how easy it is to make it and definitely not sensible for $22. servers were nice and service was quick! read more

This is a chefs choice and let me tell you, i thought the tuna was going to be my fave but it turned out to be the mackerel sashimi. I visited this location two or three years ago and it was excellent. I was so excited to return. I went back Friday night and the food did not taste good. Ordered the Volcano roll and it was god awful. Mushy and fishy tasting. I took two bites and couldn't eat anymore, it was truly disgusting. The yakisoba had way too much sesame oil which had a bite (bad taste) to it. The noodles were over cooked with very little meat. I also had a cocktail and it was delivered in the smallest glass I'd ever seen. Very underwhelming experience. The left overs were thrown away once home. Not even fit for my dog to eat. read more

The Koi never disappoints. I love their uni shooters and this time I tried their Rainer box which was an assortment of sashimi, Nigiri, and poke. They give you alot of fish and they are big slices too. So you are definitely getting a good amount of fish for the price. read more
