Teriyaki rib was bit tough, wasn't tender and some of the pieces were too burnt. The salad was warm and didn't have much sauce. It was literally lettuce and a few pieces of shredded carrots. Ordered take out so the wait wasn't that long maybe 10-15 minutes wait, it was during dinner time so it wasn't bad. My sister ordered teriyaki chicken and gyoza combo. Me and four boys ages 14-10 stopped here on our way home from Wild Waves and ordered the Yoko family B package and some California rolls. It was supposed to feed 4-6. Maybe 10-15! The ladies were all very accommodating and extremely kind. They brought out dish after dish after dish until there was no more room on the table! All the dishes were tasty and made you want more but there was so much it was hard to try everything! My favorite was the Mongolian beef but the whole meal was excellent. We could tell they were trying to close but we never felt rushed and they graciously helped us pack up all our leftovers and gave us a box (rather than several bags) to take the food home in. We have another trip to Wild Waves with friends scheduled for early August and I will definitely recommend we come back for the same order! read more

Best Teryaki joint in Milton! Fast service, generous portions, delicious food and kind staff. Take out, pick up or dine in. I have been eating at this restaurant for over a decade. Even once I moved away, whenever I come back to Milton, I stop at Yoko Teriyaki to grab dinner to take home. Even on New Year's Eve, they were open and hoppin' with business. Even though this place is the sketch part of the plaza it is good! I was hesitant to walk in when I parked my car, then saw another Asian walk into the restaurant. I was relieved haha and I said okay if this Asian person is walking in we'll be good. Milton/Edgewood area is still new to me and doesn't have many options to take out and dine. A standard teriyaki spot when you walk in and the lady was nice as she greeted me upon walking in. I want to come here when it's fresh and not a to go order. I bet it would be better. This place is better than the teriyaki spot across the street next to Safeway. Better taste and sauce was better too. One growth opportunity for them is the chicken katsu. It's either twice fried or it's really slow and they refry it. The breading is too dark and the slices were really skinny. Give this place a try! read more

We have enjoyed the food here in the past. Most recent experience the food just was not good. The Beef Yakisoba both the beef & the noodles were dried out. Also ordered Cashew Chicken asked if it was white or dark meat chicken? Asked for white and was charged $3 extra (which was fine). However, the chicken was dark meat & the texture was terrible. Chicken was spongy, rubbery, the sauce was bland & also not a bit of crispiness to it even though it was fried. Tried to order a cup of egg drop soup. They only sale a bowl for $12, did not want soup as a meal, so did not order. Overall the 2 dishes and 2 sodas cost $52. The value of what we received vs the food quality & flavor was terrible. read more

The food is good here. But unfortunately customer service is terrible. The woman talking orders is very rude and lacks basic customer service experience. I spent $111.40 and I was charged a bag fee. This is ridiculous and poor representation of the community. Please yoko teriyaki take this into consideration, because the food is great. Ordered a teriyaki. Go to take a seat and the woman walks over sees my drink and asks is that from here or did you bring it. I stated I brought it in with she then goes on to say ok I'm just checking like she didn't just take my order smh. Super rude and disrespectful insinuating that I had stole a soda like there's not cameras everywhere in the restaurant. Look at the video before making assumptions. I feel sort of bad writing this review, but I have to be honest. The food was not good. Teriyaki Salmon was dry/overcooked, swimming in sauce, and a small portion for the high price. The California Roll was flavorless, sloppily made, and just bad overall - you'd be much better off with grocery store sushi. Yoko's vibe and food hasn't been the same ever since Kim sold the restaurant. The new owners got a self service kiosk which just doesn't feel right.. Kim really had the customer service thing down. And i think it would've been great if the new owners took the same approach as Kim (there's a reason she was so successful and why she had loyal customers). I will say Ellie is very nice and remembers your name. She is the only one that has shown that same level of service. Food: For a while the food tasted the same (same chefs) but the quality has slowly gotten worse. The egg rolls no longer come with the homemade sweet and sour that was sooo unique, now it's just the packet of sauce bought in bulk. The miso soup doesn't taste the same, or at least today it didn't. The yakisoba looks the same but it was really lacking any flavor. I hope they're not cutting corners to save $$. So second time eating here since the ownership change. First time was just a week after. Today I ordered Wonton Soup Gyoza and Edamame. Wonton soup was terrible. First of all, I love teriyaki I have at least once a week and every place does it different all the way from the Sala, addressing the rice the beef(usually have beef teriyaki) so I googled teriyaki around me and it was two places one with a 2 1/2 star rating and another one with four stars went to check it out this four-star rating teriyaki place and it left me disappointed rice is dry hard the sola had too much water it seems like they keep it on water to maintain the freshness but you need to drain it before you put it on a plate. Otherwise you ended up with a bunch of water on your plate. I can tell that they use bottom brown for for their beef teriyaki, which is one of the cheapest cuts of meat to be charging $14 and the portion was so small. The lady taking an order was really nice. She definitely need to hire help. Can't do it on her own. You'll be really unlucky if you need a second napkin. read more

I do a lot of traveling on the road and I'm not fond of the choice I made to eat at this place. The General Chicken was ok at $7.95 but again what did I expect on a lunch specials. Coming from LA . They only have a few lunch special offered and it's all chicken.....? Please put other meet styles on your lunch specials. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt that I might had made a wrong choice on what to eat. But again I'm passing along and love eating local fast food/sit down .
