He didn't like the fact that I questioned him about new charges I was told I would have to pay for looking into the original issue I brought my vehicle in for just a couple of days prior. I said to him that I had just paid almost $1700 for looking into this issue along with repairs for other services the diagnostic revealed needed to be done and I didn't understand why I had to pay again and the original issue was never resolved. I am sure the average person would question paying additional money but I guess I'm not average because it insulted him. I understand if I needed to pay additional money for parts or the labor for actually getting the issue fix, but I was asked to pay for the tech to look into the same issue I just paid him to look into a few days prior. In fact, the same day I went to pick up my car, I had to turn around before I got home and bring it back for the same issue. After immediately bringing it back the technician (Shaun who was very nice and helpful) stated he would need more time to look into it and to bring it back the next week because they are closed on weekends. Well after I brought it back on Monday of the next week, I questioned Mr. Owner, (Alex ) and he sat erect in his chair and with a raised tone of voice began to read very aggressively from the computer in front of him spewing a list of services that had been done on my car saying none of them had anything to do with what I was currently there for. He stated that he didn't appreciate my insinuating his business did something wrong and that I needed to leave! I said to him I understood what he was saying but I didn't appreciate his delivery and his business may not have a successful future if he speaks to customers in this manner. He became indignant and stated "he didn't need my business and that he had several successful businesses and as the owner he could do and say anything he wants to and there's the door you can leave !" I want Alex to know that my business/$1600 may not mean anything to him but it was a huge sacrifice for me to pay and if future customers are treated in such a way, those dollars or lack of dollars add up and customer retention can make or break a business. So now I am out of lots of money and still can't see to drive after dark because of an electrical issue causing my headlight bulbs to blow out has not been fixed. So I would think twice about taking your vehicle here or you may end up spending lots of money and then told you aren't valued as a customer and to get out of the establishment like I was told to.

Their solution to doing crappy work was to offer to fix it for another 2500$. There is no way I would pay the same person that did it wrong the first time to do it again for more money! I am also attaching the correspondence with SilverRock noting that the claim was approved on 5/12, the day after submitted, which contradicts the company's response as well. At the end of the day my biggest issues were with the lack of honesty and transparency, so I feel it's only appropriate to add this to my review. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gerber based on my experience. The staff was always courteous, but the overall process was disappointing. My vehicle was dropped off on May 7 with an estimated repair time of about two weeks, and I was told May 28 would be the absolute latest completion date. Instead, my vehicle remained disassembled for weeks, multiple promised completion dates were missed, and I ultimately didn't get it back until June 15. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. I frequently had to reach out myself for updates, and we were given conflicting information about the repair timeline. We also experienced repeated issues with the rental authorization, resulting in multiple calls from Enterprise while we were on our family's vacation because the authorization had not been submitted correctly. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the repair was not actually complete. The newly repaired bumper was not sitting flush and could be pushed in and out, requiring me to return the vehicle for additional repairs. I also found new scratches around the replaced "Elevation" emblem on the rear hatch that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, adhesive residue left behind from the repair, and the driver's area was returned covered in dust and debris from the repair process. I appreciate that the staff remained polite and ultimately addressed the bumper issue, but what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a month of delays, repeated follow-up on my part, and a second repair visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, quality control, and attention to detail for future customers.

They work on hybrids and electric so I took it there. The only grip I'd have is that I did ask if Minnie's handles hybrids. I believe I was told yes and the person ( the owner ) stated they drive a hybrid Camery. Maybe I should have said "work on the electric side of hybrids bc I could have dropped it at Woodards 60 miles away but I'd rather pump money into a reliable, friendly place. Not sure I'll be back. The inspection reports they send to my phone are always clear and have photos to show me what they're talking about. I have taken my car here for oil changes, tire rotations, flat tires, problems with the fuel tank vapor line (mice chewed a hole in it), new tire pressure sensors (my car has over 240K miles on it), cooling system service, new brakes, and gotten the A/C fixed.
